The first time I picked it up, I couldn't get through the first episode. For Takki fans, it would be a good sort of 'pick up' to the drama... but for me, that's where it lost points. I thought there would have been more comedic in the beginning if they used Shiina Kippei (Tachibana) as their 'pick up'. But once I got through the first episode, it was just like a simple joy ride! Amazing drama & another one I'd definitely recommend. Nao's character (Ono) is actually very different from the manga/anime, but you'll grow to just want to pinch his cheeks. XDD;; The drama on the whole runs parallel to the manga/anime; it's different, but it picks up ideas here and there. And Hiroshi did a great job with Kage. ;) WATCH IT. |

This drama is outright amazing. It's one of the best ones I've seen since... last year. I like the mix between the romance and the crime/mystery. The romance wasn't too overpowering and acted as a nice support to the whole story. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the ending. It was a bit too mediocre, and I felt there were better ways of putting it to an end. Overall, it was good. I get absolutely, crazy bias when I start recommending HERO as a must-watch for others. Not only is Kimura/Matsu my absolute favourite pairing, but this is also my very first (technically, anyway) Kimura jdrama. So if anyone happens to be reading this and trying to figure out whether or not to watch HERO... here it is. :P I loved it, as if you haven't figured it out already. I wouldn't say this was Kimura's best, but it's somewhere up there. Other than Kimura himself, I think the other cast members did a lot of justice to this drama. If they weren't there, HERO wouldn't exist as a comedy and it would be... pretty dull. Because I mean, the romance between Kimura/Matsu are super minimal (not to say there wasn't any tension between them) and the crime cases aren't exactly a wow factor. But somehow it worked for me, and do give this a try :) |

One of the best medical dramas, if not the best, I've seen so far. Even though I don't know how the ER really works, I can sense that it's very realistic in a way that the doctors and nurses aren't bombarded with work 24/7. It's very hard to accept this sequel since they don't spare anyone but Sakurai (Sudo Risa) from the 1st series. But I grew to like it in the end. The format of this so-called sequel is similar the 1st series, but the content is very different and if you give it a chance up to the very end, I'm sure you'll grow to like it too. This group is not as likable as the group from the 1st series for me, but this group has a more dramatic effect to the drama. And as a group, you can sense teamwork. I was really surprised to see that they've chosen a more solid focus on this part of the trilogy. Again, they spare no one but Kojima (Matsushima Nanako) from the last 2 dramas, but as a veteran from the 1st of the trilogy, I was really looking forward to see Kojima and Shindo team up again. What I really like about this trilogy is that you don't necessarily need to watch the previous parts to understand what's going on in the drama. And I also really liked how they decided to make a segment/side story for Kojima and her romantic side (like Shindo's side story in the 1st drama). I didn't expect that. ;D But! The one thing that bugged me about this drama was the lack of focus on this group of doctors & nurses. I think the producers were trying to drift away from their original format, and simply focused too much time on the earthquake. Nonetheless, still very touching and dramatic in its own way (even if it's different from its counterparts). :D And lastly, I really think they could of done more with the ending... though not complaining now since there's a 4th season added!! |

DROPPED. I started this drama when I was a teen, thinking I would get a good laugh out of this. I anticipated the stupidity. But ultimately, I gave up. I don't know what the exact motivation is for people who actually finished it, but for me.. as much as I liked the cast, I just couldn't understand the point of this drama. Though I think it would be a good one if you plan to just stare at [insert name here] the whole time...
Actually, just looking around now, I'm highly convinced that all the "good" comments and high ratings around me here are given by those who are loyal fans of one of the guys (maybe more). If you're going for plot, I wouldn't step here. This one was just a HUGE miss for me.

[SPOILER ALERT..?] The best jdrama I've watched in awhile (though I haven't been watching anything lately..)! I'm impressed with how this turned out. Especially because I would only be lured into this for the casts, but the scripting and plot turned out really nicely too! Before I got to the end, I thought they were just going to randomly pinpoint the criminal out of the blue like they mostly do with badly scripted mysteries, and I'm glad this one didn't turn out that way. There's also a lot of little interesting morals & inserts.
Highly, highly recommend! Watch right up until the end! And if you liked Triangle, I also recommend Koori no Sekai & A Million Stars Fall from the Sky. :) | Trick [トリック]

I really liked Utahime in a lot of ways. The drama on the whole is somewhat different from a lot of typical romance dramas out there, and for that, it's really enough to catch my interest. Not only that, but I've became a big shipper of Aibu Saki & Nagase Tomoya. :P It's quite enjoyable, but rather bittersweet. It's hard to hate this drama. |

Personally, I really liked it in the end. I have to admit the beginning was really slow and boring. Everything was just beyond fake to the point where it kind of got annoying. And things like this drama I'd usually cast aside and label it horrible. But trust me, it picks up after. It's nothing like I've seen before... like Nanako's character, for example. She is one of the fakest & shallowest character you'll probably ever meet... those that you call bitches. This drama might seem a little exaggerated, but it's a good wake up call to unrealistic girls who are still out there. I ended up liking Nanako's character, despite her personality... it's a pretty dimensional character, though you'll probably never believe someone like that is out there. And the other casts itself were A++. Anyway, it's definitely not the best thing I've ever watched, but it's not a waste of your time either. :) | Yasha [夜叉]
