| Synopsis |
|---|
| Kitajima Shinnosuke, a cowboy from Arizona, is sent to Japan to find a girl by the name of Imoko. While searching, he comes across Saki, a "lost" girl who has found comfort in a group called Angel Hearts - a Para-Para dance group. Being easily distracted, Shinnosuke finds himself learning the ways of Japan, while spinning his own web among those he comes to contact with. | | Wynter |

Stupid? Yes...But funny? Hell yes. Well, thats not completely true, as the girls' stories tended to bore the help out of me.It was like they left all the creativity in the hands of the whole "cowboy and indians" plot (whether a story about a japanese cowboy in the centre of tokyo is a sign of creativity or not is also worthy of debate). But this drama has its moments, and they lie solely with naohito's cowboy, geronimo the indian (don't know why he's called geronimo, probably best not to know), and ryuuta's police officer character. A lot of people were talking of the cute girls in this drama, and to an extent this true, but some of them look seriously unwell - almost anorexic, especially emi suzuki and erika toda. Anyway, the plot is ridiculous, but the drama satisfies, suprising i must admit, even just due to naohito's woeful attempts at english ("shitttt!.." and "whaat?"). When I first watched this, I didnt feel really excited coz i thought this is just one of those doramas about teenage girls in their miniskirt. But turns out, this is one HILLARIOUSLY FUNNY series I ever watched.. despite the fact that it does contain some teenage girls dancing in miniskirt ;)
Shinnosuke's innocent stunts were SO funny that it compensates for the lack of logical sense in this dorama (Like how can Arizona and Shibuya be more like neighbourhood cities?). Plus, in each episode there is always a thing to learn about human and life... it feels more like watching 'school doramas' but with more laughs :D
I'm so surprised this is not yet in the Top 50 doramas... it should be in it.

Ive seen. but the first drama ive seen him last is in GTO Live Action as a cop and friend of Onizuka (Takashi Sorimachi). the reason ive watch this drama is only for Erika Toda. but then i realize he is the lead role here. i dont know about his past dramas after GTO but for me he did a good job portraying his cowboy role. hahaha. SHINNOSUKE?!!!! lol. and most of all the plot is good. for those are saying it is BAD. please grow up guys. this is the same ingredient GTO has. not to mention the girls cast are all kawaii and has talent. Erika Toda, Suzuki Emi, Iwasa Mayuko, Aragaki Yui etc. not like the boys from Gokusen 2 thats has no talent. blah (no offense but it is the truth). This show was dumb. It didn�ft really have a plot and it had a very weak storyline (the search for Imoko) that broke apart way too often. Each episode was exactly the same in structure to the previous episode, only starring a different Para-Para girl. Although the girls were believable, it was hard to sympathize with them. And why, someone please tell me, was Fujiki Naohito thinking?!
There were a few funny moments, but overall this drama was just a waste of time. I didn�ft hate it, but I didn�ft find it amusing either. I think it caters to tween girls (I hope teens have more sense) and fanboys. I can't believe how many high scores there are I feel dumber just trying to watch it, I rename it the Adventures of Captain Moron. The beauty and talent of Erika Toda, Yui Aragaki and Mayuko Iwasa does not even come close to saving this steaming pile of crap. Most of the appeal in the drama stems from over-made up girl cast, who serve as eye appeal for a mostly forgettable series. Mari Yaguchi, and Erika Toda, and a set of equally cute and spirited stars serve as eye-candy as the rather silly plot unfolds - mostly about a cowboy who descends from heaven to in a parachute, relying on the wisdom of his American Indian father to lead him to his family.

It just got worse and worse and the acting was just terrible. Fujiki Naohito definitely downgraded himself after this drama. Some people probably gave high ratings to this drama because some of their favorite cute actresses made it enjoying for them. What a lovely dorama!
And wat else can we ask??? Beautiful actress such as Yaguchi Mari (former Morning Musume member), Toda Erika (main role... u~huuu!!!!), Aragaki Yui (in a much cooler role than the one she did in Dragonzakura), Suzuki Emi.....
And not to mention that this one have one of the most funny casting ever!!! Namase Katsuhisa (the legendary head-teacher from Gokusen), Furuta Shinta (any relation with Furuta Arata???), Sato Ryuta (IMO he's the japanese version for Jin Carrey.. LoL).
And Fujiki Naohito plays his role really WELL!! The foreign accent he does is marvelous!!! He's really funny in this dorama...
Gyarusa is really silly... no doubts 'bout that... But its the funniest dorama i've ever watched!!! I gave a 9 out of 10 only because of that UNREALISTIC part in the ending... But i must say i quite enjoyed the ending of this dorama...

BAKA and Funny Drama!!! This is the first time i saw fujiki-san play an innocent role like that. Everything he did was always the right ways, this is really typical main character in japanesse drama, i like this. The first episode was great, they teach us to watch our word, because your mouth is your tiger. Every episode teach us about anything, i really like a drama like this(Not like American Film which always teach us about violence). Back to topic, Everyone did a great job, Erika, Emi, Yui, mayuko, ryuta, and of course Geronimo. Remi joke was funny and Yui "omoa nee yo" so kawaiiii... If you want to laugh and a light drama, just watch it, it is really funny.

Funny! I like that girl from Nobuta. I'm so surprised that she can act so well. This is the second time that I seen her act, first time being Nobuta wo produce. Never knew she acts so well. Her acting really moves me to tears in those eps where she's so sad.
Actually, I continue to watch this one because I didn't know what the heck is this drama about. I like the cow boy because he likes to speak in English dramatically. I enjoy the humor. I found this one really interesting as I don't know what it is about. So I watch eps after eps due to curosity. Not available with English subtitles here in Bangkok. I am really upset since he is one of my favourite actors. Naohito is super talented.versatile, suave,really cool, ooze's sex appeal without really trying, superlative in all his roles. Whatever he is in his character is never repetitive -- all in all , he is an actor's actor. His alluring smile can melt any woman's heart , not the least is his mesmerising and tantalising eyes. I didn't see this drama because of the idols, I saw it because of the ganguros. This drama is SUPPOSED to be ridicolous. And it's HILARIOUS! the fighting scene in epi 9 -sucked- and komachi's (epi 9) typical jpnese drama woman voice makes me sick but otherwise, this drama is really FUNNY, and everyone should see this ! I watched 10 minutes of this and stopped. I just couldn't take it. This was the first time I couldn't stand to watch a drama. Up to then, the ones I had watched were great. It was because of this that I decided I really should give "Gal Cir" a chance no matter how horrible I thought it was so far. It's easy to love or hate this, and I'm on the side that really enjoyed it. It's fantastically absurd and awesomely funny. I don't know why it has to be believable. I'm so amused by Shinnosuke, he's so different from Fujiki's real personality or the other characters he's played. Geronimo is hilarious! Although pretty corny, each episode had a relevant life lesson. Fujiki's role as a Japan-born, America-raised cowboy was irksome: Typical stereoptying and bad English. But Geronimo was a riot. His sarcasm and imitation of Shibuya gal-speak were just too funny.

This drama was really funny! I'm not really interested in fashion but somehow I became addicted to Japanese fashion because of Galcir. Plot was interesting and I really liked the main character Shinnosuke. He was so naive, innocent and honest... But he was awesome for me. About all those gyaru girls, my faves were Saki and Nagisa. I liked this show. They needed to dance more. Each plot is understandable to a 5 year old but it shows what the human nature is and how we abuse it. Good drama, simple plots. (Fall 06) |

At first by the looks of the 1st episode I thought this was going to be a craptasically fiasco like Ganbatte Ikimasshoi, but with each occuring episode it got better and better. It shows how humans arent appreciative of any of the basic neccessaties of life and are likely to ignore all basic principles. That is why I like this show.
8.5 for this show. Whenever the "Cowboy" would speak it would be soooo easy to understand, but when the "Gals" spoke It was a bit more difficult for me. | | 2. | tobu
Who doesnt like gal ;P everyone in here, Toda Erika as main cast Saki, Aragaki Yui as the cool Nagisa-san, for hp fans Yaguchi Mari in here too as the overage, noisy but smart Yurika, and great model Suzuki Emi as their leader Remi. The cool guy Fujiki Naohito plays a strange cowboy character in here, and his scene with geronimo the indian was damn funny. its a fun drama to watch! | | 3. | domng
Actually, the reason I watch this drama is because of Toda Erika and she did well in this one. Unique I must say.
