BUT this one also has its own charm. The love scenes between the main characters look so natural and not "artificial" and "forced" at all. Miura, one of my fav. actors since his debut, looks sensual and very dashing as the "young rebel dandy". And I guess we all love Shinohara Ryoko. She acts so delightful and is funny as hell! Love her in this role! Yes, I definitely recommend this drama. I watched it so many times :)) |
2. | Comments by SayaOtonashi [Rating: 6/10] Average dorama with a love triangle not quite believable. It just didn't make sense how the story starts between Sakura and Hiroto, and I always felt Sakura and Tachibana had a greater relationship, beyond just plain simple friendship. It was an acceptable dorama to watch, and Shinohara Ryoko absolutely stole the show. The pace was quite good and you slowly get used to each character, but the ending was like... I don't know, average ending too. Not the greatest dorama ever but you should watch it if you are a fan of Rujiki Naohito and/or Shinohara Ryoko. |
3. | Comments by Patazilla [Rating: 8/10] Super kitschy start and characters need what feels an eternity to get used to. The main relationship doesn't feel real or desirable until quite late as well. However, the feelings do ultimately cross over and you grow fond of the characters after all. Just takes its time and is quite exhausting until it does. Same goes for the nerve-wrecking affair sideplot. What the fuck...? Anyway, quite cheesy, but I did like the characters, the ending and the freindship/co-worker/bar/family relationships going on on many levels. |

I laughed a lot at the very last episode, it was absolutely without no doubt enjoyable drama to be watched till the end. Lastly, I really like the soundtrack! ^^ |
5. | Comments by loveaomori [Rating: 9/10] Very simple story where the actors have to be very good to make a good dorama. And they are good! Didn't put 10 because the burn on the sister skin issue is exagerated and because I woud like dorama writers to stop sending the carachters to New York in ALL dorams. Why not Singapore? Hawai? Boston? Paris?? |
6. | Comments by sasukekun6 [Rating: 7/10] It could have gotten rated higher, but anyone who has watched it knows why a drama that could have gotten a 10 didn't. I was really into it until the last few episodes when it just went down hill.
I really enjoyed Fujiki Naoto in this. And the gay bartender was awesome too, haha! |
7. | Comments by EstherM [Rating: 5/10] Makes me regret that I gave Saikou no Rikon only 7 points. This just lives off the gimmick of making the audience guess who Shinohara will end up with. The amazing choices are: a 15 year younger blandie or a misogynist her age. Oh wow! Mind you the younger guy is quite a hottie:-) |
8. | Comments by Kirari Ililah [Rating: 7/10] Rather cheesy and the same role for Shinohara. Though I like the male counterparts, story did not feel relatable or compelling enough. Acting was good and still fun to watch, but can't relate with emotionally. |
9. | Comments by Spider [Rating: 8/10] I enjoyed this drama more than I thought I would, and probably wished for a different ending. Still worth watching as a not too serious fun and easy going drama! |
10. | Comments by nickylynn [Rating: 8/10] Quite unrealistic, but I laughed alot watching this. The last 2 episodes were kinda wonky, but I liked it overall. Would watch it again. |
11. | Comments by gaijinmark [Rating: 6/10] It's probably not as bad as I thought it was. Shinohara fans will like it, though. |

13. | Comments by gaston [Rating: 6/10] Was ok. If not for Shinohara Ryoko, would be ranked lower. |
14. | Comments by irwinner [Rating: 8/10] Predictable story but has some funny moments. |
