1. | Comments by Inujun [Rating: 8/10] Another pretty enjoyable police drama in which the suspense and mystery were rather nicely played out. Since there were only 8 episodes, it did not really suffer from slow pacing unlike another police drama I watched recently (SP). Also, Reiko's dad's death was another highlighted mystery mainly covered in the last few episodes, which would seem like the drama had strayed off topic a little, but I thought that it added a bit more spice or else the story would appear too episodic. The random appearance of murderer Kyosuke, although little, but was extremely eyecatching. In fact, his weird mysterious character actually stole the spotlight among all the other cast; I'd say Shirota Yuu definitely landed a good role for this. It could be longer, since not enough negotiations were seen to actually prove the title, but then the stories are still pretty good and with the added twists from time to time, fans of police dramas wont be disappointed. |
2. | Comments by Oba-chan [Rating: 7/10] One man show(maybe it suppose to be one Woman show..hahahaaa). Yonekura Ryoko of course a really Great actress, Beautiful and talented, i read that she take Israeli defense lessons for a strip scene, and because of that She's Done Really well in that Scene.. Love you so much Ryoko-San.. But I really objective, this drama was just Ok drama, not great. The Other People just BAD, they don't match with this mystery drama, epecially Jinnai Takanori, his face are not Serious Type, and his acting is lame. But still i looking forward the special Episode and secong season.
Theme Song: Ogon Soul [Shonannokaze]: 10 (Perfect song) |
3. | Comments by Anime Dad [Rating: 7/10] Although it didn't quite meet my expectations, I quite enjoyed Koshonin. One thing I did NOT enjoy was the performance of Shirota Yuu, who looked like a pop star trying to act like a bad/crazy guy.... unsuccessfully. I couldn't help thinking how much better it could have been with a real actor playing the part. Yonekura Ryoko-chan was good, although not quite convincing as a tough-girl policewoman - especially if you've seen the other Ryoko-chan (Shinohara) in Unfair. She still looks sensational though! |
4. | Comments by Jeanxi [Rating: 3/10] Sorry to Ryoko fans, but Yonekura Ryoko can't act to save her life. That plus a horribly cheesy and overly dramatic script means Koshonin = something you should not watch unless you are bored out of your mind. Sorry, if my personal opinion is offensive to anyone, but I just can't imagine anybody thinking that this is a genuinely good drama...Unless the person's definition of a good drama is seeing a hot girl in tight clothing pretending to be professional ^^||| |
5. | Comments by aik0 [Rating: 5/10] Not so much about negotiation, more about the female officers having an uphill battle within the police department and the politics within the police force and how the power conflict affects the work of the negotiation team. We have seen a scene where the protagonist is slapped by her boss and one female officer giving massage to his boss in the police station. Not impressive at all but not particularly bad, PASS anyway |
6. | Comments by compaqmac321 [Rating: 9/10] shirota yuu's doing a good job in this show...why's he not have more leading roles???? his character is one of the best characters ive seen in a drama...that is until the last 8 minutes of episode 8
yonekura is dope as always
i know, im being biased because she's beautiful
BUT the ending lacked what was needed, it was forgettable |
7. | Comments by KAZdoramma [Rating: 9/10] This first installement of the series is soooooo good, as it starrs Yonekura Ryoko as the main character, has great casts all round. The story is about a negotiator and the team she transfers to. Very dark plot but interesting as hell and Ryoko`s performance in this serie has completely won me over..WORTH WATCHING! |
8. | Comments by pinkokoro [Rating: 3/10] INCOMPLETE. dropped after the first two very lame boring episodes. Idk if it gets better as it progressed but two episodes watched made up my mind; it don't have any element to make me want to give another episode a chance. completely dropped from the watching list. |
9. | Comments by ginger ale [Rating: 10/10] An ass kicking beauty and brains female negotiator in a male dominated police setting. Throw in some really stoic macho police sempai, a pyschotic killer and a mysterious past she has to overcome and kyaaa this dorama rocked my world from start to finish!!! |
10. | Comments by highandmighty_ryuude [Rating: 7/10] POSITVE : An ass kicking beauty and brains female negotiator in a male dominated police setting. Throw in some really stoic macho police sempai, a pyschotic killer and a mysterious past she has to overcome .
NEGATIVE : incomplete! |
11. | Comments by room304 [Rating: 7/10] Yonekura Ryoko as an ass-kicking lady cop and a slightly unhealthy relationship with death row inmate Shirota Yu - what's not to like?
Fast paced, great characters, decent acting - great fun. |
12. | Comments by aoi_dolphine [Rating: 9/10] Far better than SP and for once I wanted to fininshed this much faster than any dramas. Very captivating storyline tho the ending is likewise predicable. But overall still fast pace. |
13. | Comments by desert-raven [Rating: 7/10] Not bad, I didn't like many of the characters except the main character, but I think that's what is supposed to happen. I'm looking forward to the special, and possibly a season 2. |
14. | Comments by marspeach [Rating: 6/10] I think it was trying too hard to be tough and intense. All the characters looked really upset all the time and Yonekura Ryoko needs to keep her eyes from popping out. |
15. | Comments by EstherM [Rating: 7/10] So stylish it tries too hard! But any Japanese (cop) drama with a strong woman in the lead is worth a watch! I love the ending sequence. |
16. | Comments by Ikuko [Rating: 8/10] I liked evry episodes but... It's not really about negociators and negications. But it was very nice drama with many suspens. |
17. | Comments by aoiharu [Rating: 10/10] i'm giving it a 10 for shirota's acting.
though, his actual crime in the show wasn't as "monstrous" as it seems.... |
18. | Comments by sasukekun6 [Rating: 7/10] Whoa, this drama is darker than what I've been watching recently...Overall good casting and a very good drama. |
19. | Comments by loveaomori [Rating: 3/10] so bad... I never saw a theme song that suits worse than the one in this dorama. Poor, so poor script. |
20. | Comments by oonqy [Rating: 9/10] Yonekura Ryoko is really cool !! nice plot
Shirota Yuu is amazing! he acted the role well. |
21. | Comments by moonchyld [Rating: 5/10] i actually gave this a try eventho i don't fancy yonekura ryoko.. DROPPED after 1st ep. |
22. | Comments by akitsu [Rating: 6/10] I liked Yonekura Ryouko very much. The first episodes were pretty good. |
23. | Comments by Jhvx [Rating: 7/10] So so, plot boring, not really negotiations but it's a mistery dorama. |
24. | Comments by norani [Rating: ?/10] The Negotiator --- Sousuke Takaoka |
