I categorize this one in category of the well-rounded, well-written, well-acted, well-directed modern doramas. Nothing disappoints there, there is a little bit of everything: good plot overall, nice and different characters, good acting across the board, some touches of originality, some comic relief, some romance, a strong lead actress (I have to admit that I am a big fan of Kanno Miho and was not disappointed again).
I found 2 weaknesses though: first, the fact that there's not much that is really outstanding in this dorama, except the closing scene which I absolutely loooved (I played each one 3 of 4 times), but that's only 30 seconds or so. Second, I found that the plot held up well until episode 5 or 6, then obviously the writers were looking for more ideas, and they reverted to classic tricks (but it still was well done)
My conclusion: it probably won't be an unforgettable moment, but I don't think anyone will be disappointed by this dorama. |

This is a really good dorama: good production, great acting (I love Kanno Miho and her voice -she always seems to have a cold! :D), good music, story and writing. It focuses in work almost all the time, and I loved the idea that Hiroko already had a boyfriend, so she has to face some hard decissions since she loves her job so much. Maybe other characters are not very much developed. Last song on each episode was SO funny! And after watching this dorama I couldn't help but start thinking about my own situation in my job (and in life :D). Anyway I found myself into a contradiction: did I like the end, or didn't I? I still don't know the answer to that; if I were Miho, it would be really difficult for me to make that decision. I suppose she was really mature with her decision. In summary, the show was really entertaining and easy to see; don't expect anything very deep (at least until the end, when I really thought about what job means in life). |

This was probably the most unsubstancial dorama i have watched, mostly because i�Lm a guy and this is too woman oriented just like Anego for example, but much more boring.
The first 6 episodes are completly useless stroywise, if you really want to enjoy this dorama watch the first episode then skip from 2 to 6, watch 7 and 8, skip 9 and watch 10 and 11, i garantee that you won�Lt miss anything.
Tanaka(Hayami Mokomichi) had this "big important character" aura but he never did everything meaningful, he didn�Lt even had his own episode like Sugawara, Nagisa and Shinji had.
I was exoecting some kind of romance between Tanaka and Hiroko down the line, but it never happen(it will probably happen in the manga).
Overall it�Ls a pretty boring dorama, maybe a woman will enjoy some of it(which i doubt) but for a guy with my tastes this was unbearable. |

To ren 1999, why is posing nude got to do with the review of this series. It's a norm that every Japanese actresses posed nude for calendar or collection.
It's good to focus on someone else's acting skill than posting comments as such. |

Hiroko always put her job first, even for love. Its nice to see how hard she work and how she love to do it. But i hope there more romance in this story, maybe between Hiroko and her Mokomichi's character |

The storyline lacked oomph. And the ending was somewhat neither here nor there. Kanno Miho as hataraki man signifies a change in roles being typecast to her. More careerminded and less romantic. |

Okay drama - not very realistic when it comes to portray journalism. Kanno Miho has "chispitas" in this but the stories she follows for her newspaper are mildly interesting. A mixed bag. |
