If you're in the mood for a deep, thought-provoking story, you won't find it here lol, but if you're in a mood to laugh until your stomach hurts, this is the perfect jdrama. I love the way KudoKan writes eccentric characters and some of the stories about family were really touching. I had my doubts about Fukada Kyoko at first, but she proves herself worthy of being a KudoKan heroine! Very cute. My favorite characters were Grandpa and 100% Yuuki-kun. <3 Also loved the Aibou a.k.a. Partners parody. |

Absolutely watchable for its quirkiness and adorable excentric characters - I loved MeguriLs grandfather, Michiru and her accent and Yuki, the stupid boyfriend. But the story is too often too silly and the heroine - no surprise - infantile and annoying. But it would be too easy to blame it on Fukada Kyoko only, the script wasnLt that neat either. Cool ending song and guest apparences by beloved actors though. |
3. | Comments by Susan [Rating: 9/10] ME-GU-RUUUUU!!! I admit I'm not a fan of Fukada Kyoko, but I am a diehard fan of Kudo Kankuro! He has a unique sense of comedy and an ability to intersect the strange and fantastic with the everyday and I've yet to see that done better by anyone else. This was not his best drama, but it was definitely enjoyable. I think I would've given this 10/10 if it had had a better cast. |
4. | Comments by rikastar [Rating: 8/10] Wacky storytelling + wacky characters = great entertainment. It's really fun to watch, but not for those people who want everything to make sense and be logical. I think this role is perfect for Fukakyon although some may find her too OTT with the cuteness. |
5. | Comments by tachan [Rating: 7/10] I didn't like this very much. The story is about a teacher who can see what people look like 20 years from now after eating. It had good moments, but it was kind of cheesy. |
6. | Comments by natzumi [Rating: 6/10] The idea is interesting, but Kyoko's acting is not really by par. Stopped watching in ep 2. I thought it had potential, but couldn't stand Kyoko's acting. |
