| 1. | Good but Lack of Love Story [Rating: 8/10] I give this drama 8 out of 10. I enjoyed the story and like the typical heroine that hard working and not give up easily and following what her heart says. Good plot with less love scene, to be exact the love scene only at the ending ep 11, after long running the production drama team should have made the love scene longer not just showed it at the end. Overall this is one of a drama that has quality lack from present drama (Japan, Korea, Taiwan). Enjoy the soundtrack too. The acting of the actors are improving much than their last drama. | Reviewed by rinarina on 24 November 2012 | 2. | Loved It [Rating: 10/10] I don't know if it's because I watched this drama after a long break from dramas, or because I really did enjoy it, but I've given it a 10. I loved the premise. I found it new and refreshing, and I absolutely loved Shun and Satomi as the leads. They had great chemistry, and together with a strong supporting cast, this drama held my attention through and through. I hope for a sequel! | Reviewed by Wynter on 16 July 2013 |

She is extremely great at being cute and fragile and at the same time hilarious as well. It's a rather complex role that many actresses couldn't pull off. She is one of the few that can convincingly portray all sorts of extremes just with her facial expression.
There is definitely a lot of borrowed material that forms the basis of much of the plot and events. Half the time I felt like I was watching Tsuki no Koibito again, there was some strong similarities. There's also a bit of Hana Yori Dango, and the manga/anime Kimi Ni Todoke.
The theme song is excellent and a wonderful fit, it seems to match the heroine's personality perfectly.
It had nice pacing, with large scale developments rather than the often annoying, over dramatic plot twists of many dramas. Actually I feel I am noticing a trend amongst recent dramas toning down the plot twists and melodrama, which is very pleasing to me. It feels like, when watching this, that a lot changes over time. but that it does so in a way that feels like real life, rather than something scripted attempting to force emotions out of me. Also the characters definitely receive lots of development, it leaves the impression that they have all grown into very different people than where they started. Even if this drama is not amazing, the format is a recipe for success that I hope to see more dramas follow. However, the one place they fail is at the most important part: the romance is to slow. It drives me nuts. I don't understand why so many romance dramas feel the need to delay the actual romance until the literal last second. Do they really think people enjoy this level of frustration?
Overall, the biggest point for me though is simply the fact that this drama made me feel that the Fuji Getsukuu drama has finally made the come back I have so been waiting for. There is one huge flaw for me, but even flawed it feels like the type of flaw I would expect from a Getsukuu drama and I was able to still find it overall quite enjoyable. | 2. | Comments by pash [Rating: 8/10] Being the old social ist that I am (though much less old and much more social ist than Bernie, LOL), you might understand I would've never watched anything with such a classist title, hadn't it been for a friend who wholeheartedly suggested it. And when, upon watching the first episode, I got so angry at the male lead for his behavior that I actually thought about dropping this dorama, it was that same friend who managed to convince me not to do so. This is why, now that I've watched the dorama till the end, I feel the need to publicly thank that friend of mine. Hadn't it been for him, I wouldn't have watched this dorama that, albeit not being the best of all time, still has one of the best characters ever (namely, the female lead, masterfully portrayed by Ishihara Satomi, who managed to make me laugh one moment, and move me to tears just a few minutes later). The lovely message conveyed by this drama, in a nutshell, could be that love and goodness can change even the worst people and make decent human beings out of them. A lovely message indeed, albeit maybe not such a realistic one, let's admit. Anyway not in the big business world (where I have the strong impression only the scum rises to the top) and not in this Last Days we're living in! Anyway, a great performance by the whole cast - and particularly by the leads - and the afore-mentioned message get this dorama a well-deserved 8/10 ^___^
p.s.
As for the SP, it was just half-baked, with some good/funny moments but also some very weak ones. Actually, at times I couldn't help but feeling like the writer had sort of totally run out of new ideas, so for example she thought it was ok to make the leads behave almost as if they had gone back to square one and the whole series just hadn't happened, and I personally found that pretty annoying. The acting was once again good, but the leads couldn't shine as they had done in the series because of the less appealing script. P.p.s. Ishihara Satomi's the only one who managed to speak English with a decent, mostly understandable accent; the others were just embarrassing, sorry... | 3. | Comments by suerinn [Rating: 7/10] Starts off well, but I lost interest in the middle of the series as it gets a bit disappointing. Watched til the end though just to see how it ended. I liked Ishihara's portrayal of a naive yet smart girl who never gives up to achieve what she wants. Oguri's perfomance though was a bit bland in my opinion. Watching some of his doramas, it feels like he is performing the same character over and over again. | 4. | Comments by xploring [Rating: 7/10] Promising start but disappointing for most of the series. Enjoyed the romantic passages at the end but not the work aspects. Can't understand why Satomi's character was written like that, and I thought more would have been made of the past between the two leads. Aibu Saki surprised me though with her mature role even though she didn't have much to do, this image seems to fit her very well. | 5. | Comments by Wynter [Rating: 10/10] I don't know if it's because I watched this drama after a long break from dramas, or because I really did enjoy it, but I've given it a 10. Very shallow lovestory, bu that's just in line with nowaday's doramas. Oguri Shun is sometimes hard to bear watching, but Ishihara Satomi plays very, very convincing. Maybe she is in real-life just like the charakter. A pity she only plays in crappy Doramas except H2. | 7. | Comments by EstherM [Rating: 5/10] This is targeted to vow away Japanese (female) audiences away from Korean dramas. Not sure if it'll work though because of the very tired story - I mean even the title is tired. Episode one was too cheesy but it got a little better further down the road but then sadly ended as formulatic as a drama possibly can. | 8. | Comments by gaston [Rating: 7/10] It was a good watch. Interest was built up all because of Aibu Saki -- but man, her style here is a little to "glamorous" for my tastes. Anyway, after the first episode, had HIGH hopes but as the dorama continued it became trite. Doesn't mean it's not enjoyable, but it could have been so much more. | 9. | Comments by Kirari Ililah [Rating: 7/10] Oguri Shun still does a great job at playing different characters, though I wasn't too impressed with the story. It wasn't too special, but still had good ideas to convey in the part of entrepreneurship and appreciating other's. | 10. | Comments by sasukekun6 [Rating: 10/10] Probably one of the best dramas of 2012!!!! Absolutely wonderful story, great characters and all backed up with top of the line acting and an overall incredible cast! I definitely recommend everyone to see this drama!! | 11. | Comments by Patazilla [Rating: 10/10] Best drama for a loooong time. I was near giving up on the Japanese producing another good romantic drama, but here it is. Nice story, but the great actors also work their part. I loved both Oguri Shun and Arata. | 12. | Comments by zenith777 [Rating: 9/10] Superb drama! This romantic drama surprisingly encourage people to do the best in working field, although it's too ideal and omitted the complexity. Ishihara Satomi is really cute after all LOL... | 13. | Comments by Inujun [Rating: 8/10] Very entertaining, although not the best and the most original. The opening theme by Miwa is really uplifting! I'll suggest skipping the SP though, unless you are a huge fan of the series. | 14. | Comments by Ali [Rating: 9/10] A very different love story. In this drama you will see how a true love can make you stronger. It shows how you can set an ending point to a starting point. The ost was also great. | 15. | Comments by daniela [Rating: 9/10] Oguri Shun san wa saiko datta! Honestly, I really loved his acting in this drama.
In a sense, it reminded me of an IT company that I worked for for short time. | 16. | Comments by Eyeyore [Rating: 2/10] There was something attractive about Aibu Saki but the rest of the cast was a letdown....so is the script. This idol-drama is for Oguri Shun's fans | 17. | Comments by Signo [Rating: 7/10] Very enjoyable dorama and worth watching. Sometimes the plot is way too smooth, so only 7p - a little bit more dramatic and 8p would be acceptably! | 18. | Comments by Shachihoko [Rating: 9/10] This drama is good and the whole thing reminded me of a company culture like Zappos. You have to keep on doing something new. | 19. | Comments by Sun_Shang_Xiang [Rating: 6/10] Potentially a good cast but the script was a bit disappointing. Iura Arata and Aibu Saki however performed very well. | 20. | Comments by orenji [Rating: ?/10] Surprisingly better that what I thought it would be after watching episode 1. Not just a simple love story. | 21. | Comments by bobspelledbqwrds [Rating: 7/10] I was really into in the beginning, but from the middle I knew it wasn't going to end well. It was okay... | 22. | Comments by junny [Rating: 7/10] Oguri Shun is very charismatic in this. Plot and characterisation need a bit more work though. | 23. | Comments by iluvasiandrama [Rating: 7/10] I haven't finished it actually just started watching it. So far so good | 24. | Comments by darkdragon88 [Rating: 5/10] Cute start but fell off due to poor secondary character development. | 25. | Comments by joykimlee [Rating: 10/10] Fun watch. Good chemistry. Never judge a drama by the title. | 26. | Comments by kijoken [Rating: 10/10] one of the best dramas i've seen. the OST is amazing too! | 27. | Comments by docalion [Rating: 10/10] i dont know why but i'm in love with the two leads | 28. | Comments by irwinner [Rating: 7/10] Predictable story but still enjoyable to watch. | 29. | Comments by yebisu [Rating: 8/10] i watched this and liked it | 30. | Comments by oldpilot [Rating: 9/10] stupid name, great show |
