1. | Comments by nishishi [Rating: 4/10] The begining of this dorama is so slow-paced.... not to mention that the story gets really confusing at this time (so many characters appearing at the same time and at the same time a lack of character development). Then the show gets a lil bit more interesting... u start to wonder who's the culprit and stuff like that (i could even say that the lack of chemistry betwen the characters didnt really bothered me.. but at least the lead roles could have some. I mean.... Goda starts to trust Sachi afterall) and then we have a good twist in the plot with a non expected murder but at this point the identity of the culprit get predictable (and u start to wonder the reason why he did that). And finally comes the end... and i KNOW that a lot of japanese doramas gives a crap reason for the crime but TRIANGLE gets the award of Crapiest reason ever!!!! Not to mention that one can easily predict whos the murder 1 or 2 episodes before the final one and c'mon.. if u r gonna give THAT crap reason... u could at least made it a litlle less predictable! If u r looking for a good mistery/police dorama go watch something else... i reaaaaaly dont recommend this one. |
2. | Comments by Jeanxi [Rating: 5/10] I was actually very intrigued after watching the first episode; I thought this was going to turn out to be a great suspense drama. However, the cheesiness of the beginning of the second episode just completely destroyed any prospect of me actually finishing the whole series. Seriously, if all of their classmates knew that the character Hirosue Ryoko plays is the adopted daughter who took the name of the dead girl, then why the shocked faces at the end of the first episode? I guess I was expecting some really exciting explanation that I could not have possibly imagined, but all I got was a crappy, not even second-rate answer. Just from the first two episodes alone, I could tell that most of the drama was going to feel very forced and dragged on, and nothing exciting was going to happen until maybe the second to last episode. And I was right. Very disappointed. |
3. | Comments by Akiiness [Rating: 10/10] [SPOILER ALERT..?] The best jdrama I've watched in awhile (though I haven't been watching anything lately..)! I'm impressed with how this turned out. Especially because I would only be lured into this for the casts, but the scripting and plot turned out really nicely too! Before I got to the end, I thought they were just going to randomly pinpoint the criminal out of the blue like they mostly do with badly scripted mysteries, and I'm glad this one didn't turn out that way. There's also a lot of little interesting morals & inserts.
Highly, highly recommend! Watch right up until the end! And if you liked Triangle, I also recommend Koori no Sekai & A Million Stars Fall from the Sky. :) |
4. | Comments by ginger ale [Rating: 10/10] Its finally over and Goda can finally look to the future and live his life the way he wants to. I hope he meets someone he can really love cause the events in his life were really tragic and traumatic. But I love how the story developed and how each episode ends with a cliffhanger that makes me look forward to the next. How can so much evil exist. But in the end justice is serve. I'm gonna miss Eguchi Yosuke so much! He's one awesome handsome actor.
Main reason for watching Eguchi Ryosuke. Hot older actor, can't get enough of him onscreen. Story is a thriller, kept me on the edge of my seat. |
5. | Comments by Cerebus [Rating: 5/10] A mystery drama, which after a promising start goes rapidly downhill. The main problem is the plot which is contradictory, nonsensical, contrived, badly paced, full of coincidences and is completely unoriginal. For a plot driven show, this is a bit of an issue. People suddenly appear to give information and then disappear, or characters remember important facts at just the right time to progress the story. Every other phrase is "ni juu go nen mae". At least the music is good. |
6. | Comments by kazuya_ [Rating: 3/10] With this cast, all the hype and expectations, this drama turned out to be a flaming piece of crap. The plot twist are ridiculous and the characters are all boring. And I did not care for one instant why they killed Sachie. Since the victim of a murder invokes no sort of sympathy, the whole drama is doomed. Absolutely terrible show! I thought about giving this show a 4, but that would be too generous for a show that aims high and delivers nothing. |
7. | Comments by docalion [Rating: 9/10] It's a great mystery drama series. it could have been something that i would always think about, if only there is a chemistry between the two leads (Ryoko Hirosue and Eguchi Yosuke), but I felt nothing. I wish Ryoko's role could have been placed to another actress. Well, she's not that bad, but I don't like her role. Anyways, this drama will really hook you and is very watchable. You'll be surprised with the twist at the ending! |
8. | Comments by dira [Rating: 9/10] '25 years ago...'
...so its about a case murder 25 years ago and every cast keep repeating that words over and over again..nevertheless, i love this suspense drama..sometimes i hate when Goda Ryuji (eguchi yosuke) always make decision w/o thinking and caused trouble to everyone else. Many twist and turn, complicated but worthwatching drama! |
9. | Comments by PaperCaged [Rating: 6/10] This show was draggy at times and the cliffhangers at the end of each episode began to become ridiculous. I also thought that Goda Ryoji was a bit awkward at times, or maybe it was just the actor? Same with Akimoto. The parts with Sachi were way too cliche. One thing I liked was the ending twist, I wasn't really expecting it. |
10. | Comments by KAZdoramma [Rating: 10/10] OK, i`ve written on threads and wrote a review so for more detailed insight to what i think of this dorama, please look there but one word, BRILLIANT!
Good OST, Good Cast, Good storyline. I recommend this sooo much! one of the best doramas i`ve seen.
THEME-slice of life, mystery, murder, relationships, a bit of action! |
11. | Comments by aoi_dolphine [Rating: 9/10] Unexpected ending. Overall I like the plot alot. Keeps me guessing till the last episode. I really didn't expect the less obvious person in the drama to be the killer. Eguchi, Goro and Hirosue have done a great job in protraying the characters. Worth watching if U like mystery drama. |
12. | Comments by v1olet [Rating: 8/10] Interesting story. I kept guessing who's the killer since the beginning. Unexpectedly, the motive of the killer was just too simple for such a complicated case. Yosuke Eguchi, Goro Inagaki, and Ryoko Hirosue were awesome. I love the theme song, too. |
13. | Comments by Susan [Rating: 6/10] This drama started out on a high point with a great cast and intriguing mystery. But in the end it went nowhere and the "twists" seemed more like hiccups. What was the point of all this? I was extremely disappointed in the story and characters. |
14. | Comments by hitomi #1 [Rating: 8/10] Solid thriller, so so many plot twists, you will have no clue to how it ends up, very good acting as you would expect from this cast. If I could, an 8.5 would have been my rating if it was possible, highly recommended. |
15. | Comments by zenith777 [Rating: 10/10] Fabulous story that make me keep guessing in every episodes but the interesting part you will not expect that the murderer was HIM.... :hehe: :hehe: Zettai iyo keisatsu dorama ato tanoshii-kata da yo... |
16. | Comments by HHND [Rating: 8/10] Honestly these types of detective dramas never leave a lasting impression on me, but while I was watching I liked Triangle, especially the filming. Totally fell in love with Eguchi-san as well hehe. |
17. | Comments by williu [Rating: 9/10] Excellent police drama, with an overall good cast and phenomenal soundtrack. The story however could have been cut down a few episodes, but nonetheless you are hooked from beginning to end. |
18. | Comments by marspeach [Rating: 7/10] It was a decent show but I think my expectations were too high. They were not very subtle in always repeating the message, "Live your own life." And I was able to figure out the murderer. |
19. | Comments by russia [Rating: 6/10] i like it cos they kill off a lot of the people you expect to last to the end of the drama. but still, drama ending leaves much to be desired. pretty crappy logic for the ending. |
20. | Comments by gopro [Rating: 8/10] Just rememberd I watched this. Been like 8 months alsmot. Haha. So bad. IIRC it was not bad. So an 8 is suitable. BTW- Ending theme is sick! Listen to it. (Watched Fall 09) |
21. | Comments by StregaLynn [Rating: 7/10] I didn't like the way of solving the puzzle about the murder of this drama very much but could still enjoying in watching Yosuke Eguchi and Ryoko Hirosue performance. |
22. | Comments by yeoni [Rating: 3/10] This sucked or I was just sorely disappointed, I was like wtf is going on up to the 6th episode. It just got irritating and the twist, erm LAME! |
23. | Comments by gaijinmark [Rating: 6/10] Good cast wasted here. After an excellent first episode, this rapidly descends into one of the most non-sensical dramas ever. |
24. | Comments by shinjitsu [Rating: 5/10] Maybe I am a little harsh but with all the hype and the total lack of chemistry between ANY of the characters ... |
25. | Comments by passionpete2427 [Rating: 7/10] i give this show a 7.5.
decent show. watchable.
I enjoyed Eguchi Yosuke's and Ryoko Hirosue's acting. |
26. | Comments by loveaomori [Rating: 6/10] good cast but storyine is stupid. Why seek for the criminal of a simple old old old classmate. meaningless |
27. | Comments by ct_subang [Rating: 8/10] a sucker for mystery dramas...just didn't like the whole pairing of eguchi & hirosue...hehehe...GORO |
28. | Comments by jindo [Rating: 10/10] After the 1st episode, watched the entire series in one sitting. Awesome highly recommend, |
29. | Comments by Bbbut [Rating: 6/10] average - sadly one can see most twist (especially the ending) two episodes ahead... |
30. | Comments by delaciel [Rating: 8/10] Complicated drama, but that's ok LOL...
Nice twist... Good actors/actress |
