Dec 2006: I thought it was gonna be the best of this year when I watched the first episode. However it's hard to please the audience since this drama was focus on the controversial topic, difficult to write a suitable solution. For me I liked it alot, there were some annoying parts as well, one will be Satoshi's acting, his expression is soo wooden-ish!! Luckily it became better towards the end. Another is the tabloid thing, it was pointless and exaggerated. Great acting by Shida Mirai, she's only 13!!! And the parents as well. Lastly, SUPERB theme song by Mr. Children~!!! Dec 2006: This drama reminds me of Hikaru no Tomo ni starring Shinohara Ryoko. It's another drama about an autistic child. Kinda like Forest Gump as well. It can be quite slow at times, Teru kept on repeating the same action, same dialogues each episodes, if you think it's annoying then this is not for you. It's fun to see him progress each episode, wonder when he's gonna screw up again, and of course his fate with Miyako chan. Karina is HOT in this drama, they really know how to find a suitable female lead to balance up the dullness haha. July 2008: This is the first Jdrama with political theme I've watched. Being a Japanese language student, my vocabulary has increased, thanks to all these political jargon. Plot wise, I love the chemistry between Kimura and Fukatsu Eri, though I wish that such thing will happen in our political arena (which is kinda impossible), this drama taught me to be more aware of the world of politics and to treat everyone equally, like what Keita does. Sept 2005: Unique storyline, really showed the life of otaku's and internet-goers. Kinda relate to me. They really put alot of hardwork in this show, u can see how many figure, models, posters they used, try to made us otakus crazy xxD. Mac 2004: I bought it bcos of the positive reviews, but i kinda dissapointed. This drama is more like those teen drams, with good looking cast and entertaining plot. I don't think nakama yukie fits the role that well, cos she's more girly type, she had to act in some fighting scenes, which is quite fake and speaks in rude language, rather annoying. BUT, this show is funny and heart-warming, with lotz of cute guys, esp shin. Nakama yukie is soo kirei in kimono ( not yankumi ) hehe. Watch it if u're fan of Johnny's boys. |

April 2007: One of my fave this season so far. Shinohara Ryoko can pull of almost any role, can't get enough of her. The relationship between Haruko and the rest are interesting. At first all of them hated/ annoyed by her but in the end, they managed to 'see through' her in their own way. It's kinda unrealistic though, how can she managed to get so many certificates?? That's just crazy O.o |

Seems like the producers running out of ideas to make the relationship between Tsukushi and Domyouji more tragic, it gets boring fast, whats the point of having Toda Eriko in the end anyway? July 2006: I watched alot of medical dramas, this is actually the first ever j-medical drama i've watched which revealed the 'organs' and procedures during operations, and it's very detailed and well explained with pictures and stuff, although it's not 100% true but still, this drama showed how medical dramas should be. Nice cast, with an awesome ost, if you prefer romance dramas, avoid this. |

Thanks to the great scripts, with lots of funny one-liner in metaphoric way. I like the subtleness of this drama, the face-twitching, the dogdeball catchball phrase (classic), and the dog is soo cute xD Kudos to the cast for delivering such a great performance. Pay attention to the details when you watch this, the japanese really put alot of effort in the setting and the props. There's never a dull moment. |

Dec 2005: For me, this isnt the typical high school drama, at first it seems like it, but as the story progresses, it gets darker and unpredictable, im not fangirl of the 2 leads, yet this drama manage to hold my interest. I really liked that they emphasize alot on their friendship, not just pure romance, teaches us to apprciate our friends more, and in your heart, u will always know who are your best friends. Jan 2007: This is one of the few dramas that made me cracked up like hell almost every episode. The most hilarious jdrama I've seen this year. Gotta love classical music after watching it, thumbs up for the actors for putting alot of effort to make the instrument playing scenes looked as real as possible. Nodame and Chiaki were such a CUTE couple =D Love the cast, Stressmann's weird accent rocks lol. The ending scene was touching, typical but fits perfectly to end this drama. |

Well i dunno much about them, i only know that the elder brother is a racist =/ But political aside, this is a very detailed biography, written by the elder bro to pay tribute to his lil bro, a legend in japanese entertainment industry. As it progresses, I was touched how Kitashiro sensei encourages her students, her never give up attitude, it is really motivating, once we truly understand the meaning behind. This drama started out pretty good, acting was good, since the 2 leads were well known with their acting ability, even though this is just some 'teenage love story'. However, the ending was too.....rushed. It just ended at a weird time, should have cut off all the boring parts and made a better, complete ending. Sept 2006: Amami Yuki delivered a great performance as usual, as well as the chemistry between the cast, however, this drama can be very predictable at times, and unrealistic. The jokes sometimes were so lame and unnecessary. It's just another 'Bijo ka Yajuu' rip-off, with 'better' romance plot in it.
