This is the story of a woman who sets out on a trip with a friend one month before her wedding day. As a result of being caught up in one freak accident after another, she is unable to return home. This woman, driven by emotion, meets many people on her journey, and touches the hearts of each one.
In December, just a month away, the heroine of this story Kaede is to be married. Her husband-to-be is an elite businessman. The two of them are just as happy as can be.
Kaede has a problem though...she hasn't talked to her father in 10 years. When her mother suddenly fell sick 10 years ago, her father was too busy with work to go to the hospital. That night, her mother passed away. Furious at her father for not being at her mother's side at her time of need, Kaede let him have it after he arrived at the hospital just before dawn. Because of her father's negligence, Kaede hasn't laid eyes on him since the Buddhist ceremony held seven days after her mother's passing. Even with all that has happened, her brother insists that this is all water under the bridge and that she should invite their father to the wedding.
Although it doesn't appear that way, Kaede is actually a very kind-hearted person, who can't turn people down when they come to her for help. She is also sentimental, gets flustered easily, and is really bad with directions.
After suddenly being caught up in several freak mishaps on the way home from a trip, Kaede finds herself stranded in all sorts of unfamiliar places throughout the country. She meets many people along the way; some ask for help, some are in pain, and others sad. Seeing this, Kaede begins to help them, and brings a little more happiness to the lives of each one. To those that she comes in contact with, Kaede is like an angel, who leaves after her deed is done. But to Kaede, it is not like that-all she wants to do is go home.

The reason I decieded to list them is that it is the perfect way to decribe this series!
In this story of constent wrong turns every thing seems to go from bad to worse. But it is a very funny drama it is about a woman that misses her flight after her vacation then many differnt things happen along the way. She grows up. she undersands life better after her jurney. Among all things her father. But along the way she meets people and helps them with their problems and though them she learns about herself.
this is a realy good drama but the last episode wasnt needed they could have added part of episode 11 to 10 then it would have been done a stupid last episode!

This drama is about the main character's journey home and helping people along the way. All the stories are very interesting as we see her do all sorts of jobs and solve people's problems. The subplot about her brother and her two friends is also very good. Unfortunately the last 2 episodes are a letdown and spoil this otherwise perfect drama.
SPOILER: They should not have put the fiancee in the story as the story is about her relationship with her father and did not build up anything on her marriage. It should have ended with her wedding without showing her fiancee's face. this is the most boring dorama that i have ever seen and i have watched alot of doramas. The storylines were so unrealistic and each episode was so predictable and boring, had to force myself to actually finish the dorama. This is one dorama that you can definitly skip watching. A hilarious drama! A must watch for all Nakayama's fan!
Kaede (Nakayama) is a kind girl who loves good food (quite similar to Oishi Kankei?), who wants to go home but seems that heaven forbides her to do so...
You'll keep guessing where Kaede will end up for each episode!
If you manage to catch the drama, remember to watch the hilarious ending after the credit roll for the last episode!

Sure it may be unrealistic but it takes you on a tour of the Japan you've never seen if you're so weaned on Tokyo storylines! Miho Nakayama may have lost sexiness, but she's still talented and cute to be the main eventer. The only thing that made me bought this drama is Nakayama Miho. However, after watching it from one disc to another my disappointment has overthrown my excitement of watching this drama. This was a fun drama of a woman on a journey and the people and lives that she touches along the way. Though their are some other side stories they are not well developed or important. I found this very enjoyable to watch. One of the best doramas I've seen, unfortunately partially tainted by an unispired last episode; without giving anything away, let's just say that after a 10-eps-long emotional rollercoaster (you laugh, you smile, you think, you cry...the whole 9 yards, really! Huge congrats to the writers!), the ending feels suprisingly plain, flat and dull. Too bad, 'cause it would have deserved a full 10/10 otherwise. Who does deserve a perfect 10 anyway are the lead (seriously, Nakayama Miho could make even reciting a shopping list an interesting watch; when, instead of a shopping list, there's a beautifully written script, the result is just superb of course) and the supporting cast (those adorably funny scenes portraying the trio of brother+kohais!).
