1. | Comments by Oba-chan [Rating: 6/10] Nothing special. Oh god, i just can't believe it. That's why everyone speak Bad about TV Asahi. Now i realize why they talked like that, the proof is this drama. I don't know why, even maki and rina kawaii face can't save this drama. The only thing that make me impressed was a history of this class, yes the dark history about their teacher. Only that thing, the other thing about this drama are very predictable. Every character doesn't have a chemistry between each other, except the trio "superior" student. Also the other teacher, they just useless, i mean what's the point to put Shirota yu and shigo kotaro while they did nothing. They tried so hard to imitate Gokusen teacher, i just ..hahhhh... Maybe for female or Oba-chan Viewer, they will like it, but for me, this only worth 6 points. Just watched it if you don't believe me.

the concept of this dorama is somewhat very similar to GTO... something happened in the past and students from a certain class lost their trust on teacher... than comes a new teacher and lil by lil she starts to gain their trust back....(altough i gotta say this... Seito Shokun is did a much better job than GTO...) I guess the casting is ok... nothing extraordinary bout it... Some good and well-known actors... as well as some new talents (and some new actors who probably should stop acting...) Nways... "Seito Shokun" is a great dorama... not the best school dorama out there but still worth a try... |

I guess the only thing that sets this apart from other school dramas is the fact that the *entire class* had experienced a terrible incident before the story took place which prevents them from not opening-up and trusting adults ever again. And so, after things settled down, it all comes down to a certain student which has the biggest grudge because of the things experienced since childhood. And as for the ending, there was nothing new at all. But I must say that I really liked YUIfs song. gMy Generation.h |
4. | Comments by Sun_Shang_Xiang [Rating: 6/10] A collection of good actors and actresses are in this drama but this is marred by big holes in the plot line (I can't believe no one in this day and age would not bring mobile phones and GPS on a field trip, I think it would be more believable if this were set in the 80s) and bad casting but this is not the fault of the actors involved. The entire class looked too old to be Chu Gakku Ninen sei and looked more like Kou Kou Sei.I also have trouble reconciling Horikita Maki playing a bad character as she seems to have an air of innocence around her which makes her more suitable for playing good characters.Shiina Kippei however was very good in his role. |
5. | Comments by Amano_Tsukiko [Rating: 6/10] Surprisingly, I like this one more than Gokusen. Weak teacher and yet she's still determined. She failed to work things out and she still not giving up. Though there are a couple things that I dislike. First is when seeing the class unity falls apart. I really don't like a teacher winning that way. Secondly, Uchiyama herself. Her dress is much much better than Yankumi. I give her that. But where Yankumi looks natural, she exaggerates. Throughout the drama, I had thought that it might be better if Koyuki is the main character. (Judging from her role in Engine) I'd have sympathized with the teacher more. |
6. | Comments by atheon [Rating: 8/10] Dec 2007: At first glance this drama seems like a typical, cheesy teacher saves the day drama. As it progresses, I was touched how Kitashiro sensei encourages her students, her never give up attitude, it is really motivating, once we truly understand the meaning behind. Ignore cliche, unrealistic parts, so-so background music (not YUI's) and Seito Shokun! makes one of the better high school drama around. |
7. | Comments by jed_ka [Rating: 8/10] A teacher in a class who do not live in hope: that sounds after a long fight!
A series of conflicts between students and teachers! You can say it has not particularly well off the series, but in between it can calmly look! |
8. | Comments by xxhiroxx [Rating: 7/10] At first glance, it might seem to be a cliche high school drama with a hot-blooded teacher trying to deal with a troublesome class. However, this story offers just a bit more than that to keep it interesting. |
9. | Comments by Zapper [Rating: 10/10] just watched Seit Shokun! and i already loved it Maki and Kanata are in it and also that guy who like Nobuta in NWP and Rina is in here too and that other guy who was in Prince of tennis movie. |
10. | Comments by oldasianguy [Rating: 8/10] Not the best of School dramas but not the worst.....Its hard to compare with the Kinpachi and Gokusen series because this show follows the same format...but I did give it an 8...... |
11. | Comments by williu [Rating: 9/10] A very well done high school drama. Great acting by the constantly improving Uchiyama Rina, and the script feels fresh even though the concept isn't. Overall very good! |
12. | Comments by Lee-chan [Rating: 6/10] I freaking love Uchiyama, but I definitely don't like her in a role as hammy as this one. As far as school dramas go, this one is okay. Just okay. |
13. | Comments by sweet_tapioca [Rating: 7/10] Although I don't like the main actress because she is kind of fake, but this drama did move me to tears a few times. Quite good. |
14. | Comments by chinz [Rating: 8/10] like this show... makes me want to watch on... nice storyline although the teacher is too "perfect" ... maki-chan is good... |
15. | Comments by Demon Eyes [Rating: 9/10] My first encounter with Uchiyama-sama. Cast with the all new all powerful Horikita Maki-chwam~

17. | Comments by loveaomori [Rating: 7/10] Not bad until the half of it but the last episodes make thie doraama a simple school drama like all others. |
18. | Comments by EstherM [Rating: 5/10] A rather bland highschool drama. Go for GTO, Medaka or Gokusen 1 instead if school life is your thing. |
19. | Comments by spintendo [Rating: 9/10] Great Show. As a fan of GTO I think this is close to GTO. Def. better than Gokusen and Dragon Zakura |
20. | Comments by mmyy [Rating: 7/10] Storyline is quite dark, which makes it more interesting than most series in the genre. |
21. | Comments by irwinner [Rating: 7/10] This had potential but ended up being a typical high school drama. |
22. | Comments by g_hunter1 [Rating: 7/10] Looks like GTO for a new generation. Hey its Ryoma Echizen. |
