Osen [おせん] Great Drama about the Osen of a 200 yr-old traditional Japanese Restaurant in Tokyo that will make yoiu laugh & cry!
ROOKIES [ルーキーズ] loved this drama (Another Bad News Bears type story) but with a idealistic goofy teacher/coach reaching out to violent high school juvenile delinquents (ala Gokusen) & turning them into baseball champions who try to reach Koshien to play their rival. pretty intense.
Kashii Yu [香椎由宇] Good acting role was in the movie adaptation of Lorelei: The Witch of the Pacific Ocean in which she played the mysterious title character. Also saw her good acting in Tokyo Tower, My Boss My Hero, Linda Linda Linda, Meitantei no Okite, Yukan Club, and Death Note (Desu Nōto)
Narumi Riko [成海璃子] Cute plus has a wide range for acting from Jr. High student in ( Juken no Kamisama/The Goddess of Exams ) to College age in (Honey & Clover/Hachimitsu to Clover ) a year later! seems to always play anti-social or hen characters (Hatachi no Koibito)who's in her own world... =)
Saeko [サエコ] In The US was Voted Number 1 Hottest Baseball Wives of 2010!
Would just love to see Saeko, Star in her own Drama!

JIN [JIN-仁-] Great Heartwarming Drama [Rating: 10/10] Great Heartwarming Drama that will make you laugh and cry!
The story follows a brain surgeon named, Minakata Jin, who has spent the last two years in anguish, as his fiancee lies in a vegetative state after an operation he performed.
One day, he faints at the hospital and awakens to find himself transported back in time to the Edo period. He is soon attacked by a samurai, but he escapes with the help of a man named Kyotaro.
Kyotaro suffers a serious injury to the head while trying to protect him, but Jin manages to save his life despite a lack of proper medical equipment.
Because of that, Kyotaro's sister Saki begins taking an interest in Jin and becomes his assistant. Meanwhile, Jin is determined to find a way back to the present. --Tokyograph
JIN [JIN-仁-] Great HeartWarming Drama [Rating: 10/10] Great HeartWarming drama that will make you laugh and cry about a Dr. Jin brain surgeon who slips back in time to 17th century Edo near the end of the Tokugawa era!
The story about a brain surgeon named, Jin Minakata, who has spent the last two years in deep guilt, after a failed brain surgery he performed on his fiance' who lies in a coma .
One day, he chases a man to the roof of the hospital but falls but awakens to find himself transported back in time to the Edo period. He is soon attacked by a samurai, but he escapes with the help of a samurai named Kyotaro. But Kyotaro suffers a serious head injury while trying to protect him, but Jin manages to save his life despite a lack of proper medical equipment using his modern medical knowledge ala MacGyver making do with whatever is lying around.
Meanwhile, Kyotaro's sister, Saki begins to fall for Jin after becoming his surgical nurse. all the while, Jin's is trying desperately to find his way back to his fiance' in the present and to stay alive in EDO where life is cheap where samurai are allowed to attack just for disrespect / failing to bow during great political upheaval without modern medical equipment and simple drugs.
Osen [おせん] Made Me Want to Eat Traditional Japanese Food [Rating: 10/10] Made me Really Crave Traditional Japanese Food from a traditional Japanese restaurant where they cook rice with straw but there aren't too many left as they are dying out.
One of my most favorite J-Dramas about the Osen of a 200 yr-old traditional Japanese Restaurant in Tokyo that will make you laugh & cry! Aoi Yuu acting was just great!
Sad ending tho, which leaves you hanging for more. Need a OSEN 2.
