Lets see. What does this drama have? Teenager named Eiji who has extra powers. He is a touch telepath. Most of the time he is dragged kicking and screaming to help out the police. He doesn't always like to use his powers. Because he thinks it's better not to know. But his flashes, are the thing that usually solves the case.
Tanabe plays a man who used to be a friend of Eiji's police contact, but who is really criminally insane.
Inahara plays Eiji's not too bright sidekick. kohara also plays the more 'geeky' sidekick. Both are good in the roles, but while Kohara is really the age of his charactor. Mahahiro and Inahara where three years older then the character they played. They are also much taller then Kohara. This in turn makes Kohara look much younger then them. That is the only drawback to this wonderful series.

To say this is a good drama is an understatement. This takes place two years later. Eiji is much more in control of his powers. His two friends have also matured, one becoming a gang leader, turning the gang into a Guardian Angels type street patrol. I only wish that they had made more of this great program. I love this show! The principal's daughter was so very funny. She was in love with Kusanagi's charactor. She always came up with something new and unexpected in her quest to get her 'dream teacher'. There was also another charactor who showed up in each episode each time with a new job! I also liked the episodes, the one with all the female students in love with the teacher is a classic. Another one with a grandfather who used to be Dracula in movies was one of my favorites! Need I say anything about Kusanagi? He was really good in this!

I believe this is the best ever Drama Kimura has ever done. Instead of a good guy role he usually plays, this role is more dark. He plays a killer who seduces woman into killing for him. That is until he meets the woman of his dreams, whose scar on her arm fits his scar like a puzzle piece. Then he falls in love and tries to change. Unfortantly the woman's secret leads down the path of unhappyness. If you have to watch one drama, watch this one! |
