every episode ended in a cliffhanger so that was probably the reason why i got so hooked. it was suspenseful and mysterious up to the last two episodes or so, which ruined the overall feeling of the show. truthfully i didn't care whether or not any of them died. i only stuck to it to find out what was going on with takayama and his sister, who were the most interesting of the whole cast. overall, as a horror, it carries out its prurpose; nothing more. |

A friend recommended this one to my wife and I. Although we do not watch horror films, this one had plenty of suspense to maintain our attention through to the end. Hitomi Kuroki (whom we've seen in "Oyaji" and "Good Luck") and Akiko Yada (whom we've seen in "Hotman") turn in excellent performances with the stars Toshiro Yanagiba and Tomoya Nagase. I would recommend this one to those who don't normally watch horror series as well as those who do. |

The series to the popular movie, "The Ring". It's similar in format to the movie, but it's not as scary. There were some parts where I found myself holding my breath (ie. the scene where they were decoding the video) but the majority of it was boring. It went at too slow of a pace for a horror series and it was hard to enjoy it when I had already seen the movie. The ending was also done poorly. |

The mother of all Japanese horror. The infamous story of the cursed tape where if you watch it you will die in 13 days. All the actors put on incredible performances here. Don't watch this at 2:00 in the morning, by yourself, with the lights off as I did though. You'll end up scaring the bejeezes out of yourself. |

Wow, an absolute thriller. This kept me on the cliff every episode. The lead isn't much of an eyecandy, but he's a good actor. Tomoya Nagase is just oh so hot as always <3. Dropped 2 points because Kyono Kotomi was too annoying, and Tomoya didn't have enough scenes ^^ |

Nagase Tomoya comes back in a new role, trying to look morbid and cool. It was too funny to watch. The show was good, but Nagase Tomoya just doesn't cut it as a lead actor. He should go back to his crying roles. |

Starts out really great but loses pace - probably a mini-series of 5, 6 episodes would have been better. Is outdated and wouldn't scare a 10-year old but at least Nagase Tomoya is a bit scary 90ties hot. |
