The first season ended in a good enough place that you don't necessarily need to watch the second season, but if you do have time to watch the second season, there's no doubt you'll fall in love with Hana Yori Dango all over again. Even in such an unrealistic setting, the feelings, worries, and problems are very much real. Now that I've seen such a great drama, I expect the same out of all jdramas. |

At first I thought this drama was kind of lame. The main character is just so ridiculously hard to like, but I love Jun Matsumoto so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I ended up not hating it, but I feel like the acting was very forced. There wasn't really much chemistry between the characters and that put me off a lot. Jun did a lot better job acting in Gokusen and Hana Yori Dango. Koyuki was amazing as everyone knows but I still cannot see this as a good drama.
