Episode 1 - Impulse
Yoshimura Yuri works on the night shift at a convenience store. Depressed, she has given up on life, and numerous times, she attempts to commit suicide. Yuri is haunted by her past; back in school, she cut herself, but her mother, instead of caring, accused her of doing so just to attract attention. Now, she is required to visit the doctor for monthly check-ups. At the convenience store she works at, she meets Nagasaka Hiroki, an optimistic university student, who is curious about why she acts so negatively towards life.
Episode 2 - Sakura
Saitou Haruka's alias is Sayuri, a naive girl who attends Internet chat cafe�Ls. In reality, she is a "Sakura", a girl who attends these Internet cafe�Ls, cheating off of ignorant men and their affections towards her by re-selling the jewelry and clothes they give to her for money. She wasn't like this a few years ago, and she blames her shameful father for it. She swore that she would never become like him, pathetic, helpless, poor and always begging for forgiveness whenever he makes a mistake. Suddenly, one day, while planning for her next date as Sayuri, she bumps into Kouki, who she finds has everything she wants in a man: Wealth, ambition and good looks.
Episode 3 - Time
Nakagawa Kana in constantly racing against time as a pre-professional swimmer. Trying to fit the path her father has set out for her, she forgets what it's like to relax and enjoy life. She forgets that time can be a friend... not just an enemy. As she slowly but steadily loses touch with the things that are important, she realizes that Time will never be by her side if she continues on this path.
Episode 4 - Merchandise
Satou Yoshimi has spent her entire life running from the truth. She's been through plastic surgery and an identify overhaul to erase what she used to be, and live as the person she wishes to be. Working as the "No. 1" in a Host Club, she is everything she has strived to become... but how can you erase what you are deep inside, below the exterior? Stumbling on a dog shop, and admiring a sickly puppy from afar, she begins to realize that starting over doesn't always solve the past. | | Rikayla & Wynter |

After having seen the first season, I was a little disappointed with some of the episodes in this drama.
The first episode was fine, if a bit heavy. It was interesting to see Ishihara Satomi in a serious, angst-ridden role. I thought she pulled it off nicely, although her innocent face belied the harshness of her character. The second and third episodes were not as good. I found them rushed and filled with too much plot. The actresses weren�ft the problem; it was moreso the actual storyline and female characters for both episodes. In this second season I noticed that there was more of an element of surprise, where the stories would twist to reveal new and interesting information. In the second and third episodes, this surprise was lost in all the events the writer was trying to pack in. Both episodes quickly lost their appeal, not helped by the annoying, selfish female characters.
The one saving grace for this season was the last episode. It reminded me vaguely of a more dark, serious version of the drama Seikei Bijin. This was my first time seeing Karina and I was thoroughly impressed. The moral behind the story was solid and appropriate, and the talent was perfect. The plot played itself out beautifully and I truly felt for the female character. This episode alone excuses the disaster that was episode two and three.

They managed to maintain all the good aspects of the first season (interesting concept, brilliant writing, good actresses, etc.) but this time around, without any substantially weaker episode. Interesting how this author (Yoshi), captured the relationships of how each individuals goes through in these stories. I didn't feel as good about these episodes as I did with the first series, but overall it was very nice to watch. Episode 1 was by far my favorite. the story was lovely and tragic.
