I watched this around 1998 and it's still one of my all-time favourite jdroama. Love the theme song. This show led to many people learning or wanting to learn sign language. Viewership wasn't very high in Japan but I still liked it nonetheless... Made me take notice of Mizuki Arisa... Vain but very cute. Wasn't very attracted by the opening story but I stuck on a while longer coz Kishitani Goro was in it. He is a good actor who can act the good & bad (think the villain in Returner) very well. I'm glad I stuck on with the show... :) A dorama based on lawsuits that shows how lawyer Nabeshima & assistant-o Nanjo help the helpless in lawsuits against big companies. A motivating & inspiring show with some comedy added. Heh... I would have given it a 10/10 rating if they had added in more scenes where Naoki treated Aihara with more care. Eg. Throwing a towel at Aihara after she finished her run. :P This was one of my all-time favourite jdoramas. Bought the entire manga set a coupla years later... Very refreshing to read again... ;) |

Loved this dorama alot. I watched the entire series non-stop... Although it sounds more like a sci-fi dorama, it also focus on human nature and our will to survive in harsh environments. The story has its tear-jerking moments... and the ending was not what I had hoped it would be. But all in all, there was fine casting, many touching moments in the show and of course, Kubozuka Yosuke & Tokiwa Takako. |
