| Synopsis |
|---|
| Junichi is a scout recruiting girls for work in night clubs; but in contrast to what he does, he is actually a sentimental person at heart. Nanami, who is a music teacher at a junior high school, wishes that something would happen to change the course of her ordinary life. Being from a high-class family and having committed to an arranged marriage with a government official, she and the street smart Junichi are from two different worlds. Their initial meetings always ended in disdain for the other, but when Junichi helps her find some sheets of music precious to her, she begins to think that he could change her life. this is a great tv show the characters are well thought out the story is good it is one of the best that I have seen It to me it is one of those dramas that I would watch agian !! It has realy good acting and a great cast. It does start to slow down a little bit but still it is very good. There is nothing wrong with this drama. The ending is sad but it was great because I didn't expect it. Sorimachi's acting is quite good in this dark drama. The storyline is a bit unconventional, but it doesn't mean that you shouldn't be watching it. Although the artist in the female lead is not an intriguing character, Sorimachi's heroism makes up for it. I love this drama, just like i adore Majo No Jouken! It's so touching and the ending was rather sad. But i just love it!! Really meaningful. I don't understand why this story didn't get high rating but oh well, i guess i'm lucky enough to find out such a brilliant story. This story ain't dark and boring. Although sometimes the plot gets too serious, the drama is really good, every episode is exciting and makes you want to watch more.. not to mention the most important: the cast is fantastic and their characters are really captivating!.. I thought it was great. Though I would have loved a different ending, in hindsight, this ending is in keeping with the style of the story. The show isn't a normal love story so why would it have a normal love story ending? Ugh. This Drama started out great. THe first few episodes really got me hooked. But then the middle episodes totally ruined the series. Complete lack of development in both plot and characters, and by the time it started to pick up again, it had already lost me.

Another great Sorimachi dorama with a crappy ending(cough**Over Time*Cough**).
The first 8 episodes are like a romance-drama with some dark comedy and the last 2 are more like some policial thriller.
I like sad endings, but a sad ending(unlike a happy ending) needs a good build up and not something out of nowhere and the build up of Cheap�Ls Love ending is horrible.
If it wasn�Lt for the ending i would give 8 to this.

uhm, yeah, what to say. I'm still not sure what to think about the ending - what's the purpose behind it and is it really as it seems?! Well, as I don't want to spoil anything I'll just say that I had a lot of fun with this dorama, a definite must-have for every Takashi Sorimachi-fan. xD I loved all the main characters and I also liked the flow of the story. perhaps the most gothic dorama i've ever seen...but here Sorimachi is quite good as a person who 'recruits' err..whores (??) but he showed that he actually has more than that.. the lead actress is also very impressive as a gullible but strong woman (you go girl!) One of the first dramas I ever watched. At the time, I thought this drama was awesome, but now that I'm a seasoned drama viewer, I know that it falls short, mainly because of the lack of on screen chemistry between Sorimachi Takashi and Tsuruta Mayu. I liked the story and I'm a big fan of Sorimachi Takashi. Im really infatuated with Tsuruta Mayu, she's one beautiful woman. The series reminds me of my jaded life and all the things that we do perfunctorily. I really enjoyed this drama. My second drama based outta Ikebukuro and I loved it! There's a lot of laughs and then there's a tooooon of intense stuff going on. I really enjoyed Sorimachi in this but I must say I really loved Yoshizawa as Ryo!
