Great acting - as usual! - by the always superb Wakui Emi. Unfortunately, there's little else here. The plot is annoyingly trite (the Nth retelling of Cinderella's tale - which I don't care for at all, btw; I'll never understand how anyone can actually consider even remotely romantic a story which could be summed up as "she's poor, he's loaded". Materialistic much?!?). The dialogues aren't memorable, and neither is the rest of the cast (actually, Tsuruta Mayu is good; Kishitani Goro's clownish antics are somehow funny, but seem out of place 90% of the time here; as for Karasawa Toshiaki, he's as expressive as...a fish!!!). Forgettable. |

Wonderful cast of characters. Wakui Emi portrays innocence and purity that could never actually exist in this world. The mere fact that it could even be faked is a miracle. The show is at it's best only in the beggining however, when the simple story fits well with her acting. My problem lies with the later attempt to add drama and take some of the focus away from her and Takagi and focus on her brothers relationship. Once they come back and resolve Yukiko's romance much of the "cinderella" magic is gone. Frankly I feel that I would have prefered that the endings of the two respective relationships been reversed. |

It is a very romantic story. There is not much action, but I still think it is a good drama. It has funny and touching moments. Emi Wakui looks so cute, Kishitani Goro is very funny, and Karasawa Toshiaki is very cool! I wish I had a brother like Kishitani Goro! Although it is a fairy tale story, it makes me want to believe in prince charming-cinderella stories! |

One of the first few jdoramas i've ever seen. The storyline is great! Really like a cinderella story..a prince meets a normal girl. 1st few episodes were really great. The relationship between the brother and the sister is also clearly depicted in this story.. The theme song Meguri Ai by Chage Aska adds another bonus to this drama! |

you got your fairytale story..Oh, only Cinderella this time got an obnoxious
brother, but damn adorable to boot and goes to the rescue of his sister. And you know, the rest is history... |

Wakui Emi and Karasawa Toshiaki performances were good. This story is about how a poor country girl fell in love with a rich business executive. There are many obsticles in between. The ending was a little rush. In general, this is a very good one. |

This was one of my early dramas. At that time I was so young and I couldn't help but think that Karasawa Toshiaki was really like Prince Charming in this show, making the whole show really fairytale-like ^^ |

it was the first show in which i saw toshiaki.. :) i liked the love story bet. him and his leading lady... timeless.
the brother was also a touching figure who made the drama even more moving. |
