i wonder why people keep saying that they couldn't understand this story. it's not too complicated. i've watched it twice. if i'm not mistaken, there is a chinese movie that same like this movie. but the guy died drown at the sea, not like kashiwabara died. the story is just the same. i really like the ending when the girls came to fujii's house and she realized that fujii (guy) likes her. it's really sad at that moment. i couldn't find this movie sold at my place. it's really dissapointed. maybe becoz it's an old movie. someone told me this movie received an award. is it true? if yes, it's really worth... |

When you start to watch this movie, you must thought it's gonna be quite boring for I felt that too when I watch it from the starting. but when the flashback scene started, it's caught my attention. The scene between the two Fujii Itsuki was very sweet. After an hour I watch the movie, I started to understand what really happened. For the ending, I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't watch the movie but what can I really say is you will feel quite unsatisfied. But, that is the best ending for the story. I didn't realise I got tears in my eyes. Watch it!! |

Love this movie ALOT ALOT. Nakayama does a terrific job acting both roles. The camerawork is beautifully done and the style is sweet, nostalgic, romantic, and a bit bitter. Kashiwabara's role is great...I loved watching the schooldays flashbacks...too bad there weren't that many....More would've been better. My only complaint would be the guy acting Watanabe Hiroko's bf in there, cuz he is ugly and annoying. |

This MOVIE wuz o soooooo boring! I almost fell asleep watching half way! I mean it is touching in the end . . . since I cried over it but it wuz sooooo BORING! I NEVER WATCHED SUCH A BORING MOVIE EVER! AND I MEAN EVER! God I regretted sooooooo much on why I even waste my time and money on this boring movie! A long winded story, but what a FABULOUS ending! You can hardly find such a film with such a touching ending, with little tears, but heaps of memories and regrets. A must-watch. Watch it and you'll realise that not only beautiful men and women can act. But of course, these people are beautiful too.

My favourite movie. The first movie that made me cried. The first movie that made me rush to the store to buy the DVD. No word can express how much I love this movie. Miho's acting was simply fantastic (she made me cried). And I love that scene in the library with Kassy standing at the window among the white curtain. |
