Beach boys [ビーチボーイズ] Takenouchi & Sorimachi teamed up! It's a dorama about life & dreams in general. The plot seems easy going but deep & the scenery from the beaches.. oh my... Umi ga daisuki.
Gokusen [ごくせん] Amusing, exciting & funny. I really love the surreal manga-kind-of-plot which they adopted to this dorama. Nakama is great! Love her Shinohara-san love-sick-mode :D Have watched it several times and it still bring me to laughters.
Long Love Letter [ロング・ラブレター〜漂流教室] A great science fiction dorama, never know what was going to happen next. The casts were GREAT! Loves Kubozuka!!
Long vacation [ロングバケーション] Watched it many times but never got bored. The dialog and the chemistry between Sena & Minami are just too good.
Ningen shikkaku [人間・失格] Shockingly good. Never watched a drama as dark as this one. I wasn't expecting the japanese TV to adopt a story with homosexual theme and a serious social critics on those early years. It really makes you think of what human are able to do for the worst scenario of their daily life. And when everything falls apart, you won't be able to tell where it went wrong or whom it is to blame.
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース] A different kind of high school kids stories about friendship. The plot is told in a funny way, accompanied with unexplainable occurrences which is just fun to watch. The characters are loveable and their interactions are the cutest thing. Shuuji, Akira & Nobuta are made for each other ^^
Oyaji~ [オヤジぃ] Love this! It's so funny and heart-warming in the same time. My favourite family dorama.
Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu [世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ] This series underlined the word "Dorama" for me. Very touching story, lovely moments, beautiful sceneries & Yamada acting skill was great! One of my all time favourite.
Abe Hiroshi [阿部寛] My fave Ojisan! He's sooooooo cool!!!!! I always love all the characters he played. The cool one to the silly one.
Ayase Haruka [綾瀬はるか] She's a new hope! A very pretty girl with a nice posture as well! I'm very impressed with her acting in Sekaichuu. Hope to see more of her in the future.
Eguchi Yosuke [江口洋介] I have always like him since Tokyo Love Story. Played different roles very well and has this kind of "older brother"-chara attached to him. He was really good looking, after so many years I can't believe he's still so handsome... no.. he look even better now O_O
Inamori Izumi [稲森いずみ] My fave actress. Her acting skill is great. She gets on my nerves in Long Vacation, her character in Beach Boy is so lovely & wonderful, look amazingly beautiful like princess in Yoshitsune & makes me laugh so hard in Magarikado no Kanojo. *Thumbs up*
Kubozuka Yosuke [窪塚洋介] His acting is awesome. He plays all kind of different roles very well & give the characters a touch of coolness noone else can give.
Sakai Masato [堺雅人] He's brilliant in Shinsengumi. He really brought Yamanami back to life. I can't imagine someone else being Yamanami but him. I lost interest in the whole series after Yamanami's death in ep. 33, that's just how great his influence was for me. And yeah.. that pic above doesn't do him justice. I'll look for a better pic and ask if jdorama will change it ^_^;
Takenouchi Yutaka [竹野内豊] My prince charming *_* He played a LOT of doramas & he played them well. Rebellious in Hoshi no Kinka, wild in Long Vacation, reserved in Beach Boys, cool in Koori no Sekai, easygoing in Dekichatta Kekkon & royal in Ryuuten no Ouhi.
Takeuchi Yuko [竹内結子] I like her charas who are always so energetic and positive. She has a very beautiful smile, the one that can make anyone feel better ^^
Yamada Takayuki [山田孝之] My interest for Yamada started with H2, thereafter I looked all over for his doramas. The result is I'm VERY impressed with his acting skill. He's splendid in Sekachuu. I'm looking forward to more of his works and hope to see him gets even better.
Shinsengumi [新撰組] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) The best history drama I've seen so far. Great adaptation. It would've been perfect if the story was not too romantically modified.
