Definately one of Aya's top dramas. Up there with Kinpachi Sensei and KouKou Kyoushi 2003. I'm surprised to see how the other actresses (the two who played Yayoi and Sekiyama) did an amazing job. Props to these two. Ryou did a pretty good job, his character could've been played worse by others. Karasu....dude's a pimp haha. Mikami was played fantasically. I felt she was protrayed as a strict instructor and not fake at all. Can't forget about Miss Shigatsu and Suuji. These two make the perfect pair for comedy. Overall, this drama is a must watch. Ep 1 started out great with laughs and it got better and better after each episode. Lots of comedy, you got the romance and the drama in there as well. Good flow. It started out fast and great in the beginning, slowed down a bit in the middle for 1 to 2 eps, but picked up strong again. If it stayed strong all the way through, it would've earned a 10 from me. Story, Character, Acting were all great. Plus the kids are cute and you feel for them. The racing....well its not like we're watching a racing movie, but it was good.
KimuTaku gave me a performance i liked this time around and his character's personality isn't like his other ones.....similar to that of one in Pride....but different in a way.
Once catchy little song, the one he sings when racing.

Thought Sorimachi did a good job in this drama and Akiko was HOT!!!!! The others did good too, I think Yui looked cuter in this drama then in H2 and the Shota twins were good. Little girl is very cute, sweet little innocent baby girl. The story is good. I liked this a lot. It was funny. The cast worked well together. Misaki and Mirai make a great pair when working in dramas together I think. Those just finishing Misaki in Densha Otoko shouldn't go straight into watching her in this. Her character in this is just completely different from Hermes. Just a heads up. |

Bleh. Maki's character.....sucked. Ichikawa Yui's character was annoying. Yamapi's "Bang" and "Maidoari" got very annoying and very old. Few likeable characters were the shop owner and the girl who took care of him. They didn't say much or do much. Plus the shop owner was indeed a sly fox. |

Omurice, Beef Cutlet, and all that...seems like they made it look and sound more oishii then it really is. Maybe the demi sauce makes it all more yummy??? I don't know.
