Kurokawa no techou [黒革の手帖] This dorama amde my head spin. Thoguht it was simply bitchy. But in the end, it's all about a woman's dignity. Very nice... bitchy.
Love Revolution [ラブレボリューション] talk about groovy love songs, this dorama is perfect. Ken Hirai's KISS OF LIFE fitted perfectly with this dorama. Yonekura is so much fun
Medaka [めだか] It's not another cliche school doramas filled with pretty faces. Everything was excellent! superb soundtrack. very worth watching
Yonekura Ryoko [米倉涼子] love herrr!!! so pretty, hot etc. she was perfect as a "mama" in Kurokawa no Techou

14 sai no Haha [１４歳の母] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) i actually think it was a bit overhyped. it wasn't as good as i thought it would be. and the pace is just too slow. But the role girl (forgot her name) i love how she started as one hell of an annoying 14 year old teen brat and becomes mature as months pass by
but it did feel more like 14 year-old pregnant girl instead of 14 year-old mother
amusing OST. i love how the background music keeps playing all the time. and i love Mr.Children's song
First Kiss [ファースト・キス] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) i love the characters. but the pace was awfully slow. and it's repetitive too. worth watching, but not a must-watch

Katagoshi no Koibito [肩ごしの恋人] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) better than i expected. yeah, it has a mature theme. 25+ i guess. but it was all good until the end

it was okay, nothing special. the acting wasn't stellar, but it wasn't bad either. one thing for sure, it is funny. the dorama started off really bad, i thought the first episode was really boring. but after the second episode the characters somehow grows on you and makes you wanna know what happens next. what's surprising is that the characters that i thought were annoying becomes less and less annoying as episodes go. still stupid though
69 sixty nine weird story, funny [Rating: 7/10] a story about rebellious burning spirited teenage boys. Again, Tsumabuki Satoshi shines in movies. The movie is so funny i had to laugh all the way. Some parts were a bit sick and might make you vomit immediately! I'm not joking! Really vomit. So i'm suggesting you not to watch this while eating heavy stuff. Too bad the plot was a bit absurd yet rather plotless. The boys were daymn nuts only friekin stupid brain damaged kids would ever do such stuff.
Let's say it's a teen movie, with a little touch of Jackass and American Pie. So if this is your cup of tea, you might really like it. BUt if you don't like the theme, you're gonna hate it every single bit from beginning til end. It's stupid and sick but to me was a laugh.

Ace wo Nerae! [エースをねらえ!] easy to predict [Rating: 7/10] a quite fun but cliche sport dorama, after dealing major obstacles she succeeds.
the outcome was predictable. Though i have to say this dorama looks a lot more realistic then the Prince of Tennis live action.

Ame to Yume no atoni [雨と夢の後に] really worth watchin [Rating: 8/10] This is a great dorama. It has a well-mix of genre. It has sad, funny, a little romance, and horror in it. Love how each episode has it's own surprise. You will obviously know the ending after watching the first episode. Great opening theme...
Attack No.1 [アタック No.1] a mediocre [Rating: 6/10] very cliche. only watched it because of Aya. the main leads get 'tortured' and then in the last episodes everything changes... so cliche...
stopped watching after episode 9 coz the ending was sooo obvious, though i have to say episode 9 was really worth watching.
has the same ending as Ace wo Nerae (Sooo obvious), the only difference is the diameter of the ball and instead of indiviuals it's a volley team... great ending song, Yume no Chikara by Aya Ueto
Attention Please [アテンションン プリース] refreshing [Rating: 7/10] very refreshing acting by Ueto Aya. but sometimes the characters feel a bit annoying. sometimes a the pace becomes slow and a bit draggy too. but it's funny! a 7.5/10 but more of a 7/10. worth watching though
Engine [エンジン] very very entertaining [Rating: 10/10] dyamn good. period. a must watch
Handoku [ハンドク] the second half was good [Rating: 6/10] unlike Kurosagi, Handoku is a perfect example of why we should sometimes try to finish what we thought would be a horrible dorama.
I reccomend this dorama to all of you who liked Ikebukuro West Gate Park becoz in my opinion, this dorama had the exact atmosphere and the somehow addicting magnet that makes you wanna continue watching. And for those who intend to download it (i don't know whether it's available or not since DLing doesn't work for me), I suggest you should not bother downloading the first six episodes becoz they were simply absurd yet plotless. The real story, which i thought was very worth watching, starts from episode 7. You will be surprised by how the atmosphere changes, it was great. But if you think your dorama watching experience wouldn't be perfect unless you watch the whole show, it's up to you to download all of 'em.
i have to say the script writer did an awfully reckless job for not putting any plot at the first six episodes which made this dorama look like random bits of some insane doctor's everyday life. six episodes was bleh too long for a daymn introduction.
A big round of applause and four, not two, but four thumbs up for the ending. Really, again i have to say the last 5 episodes were indeed entertaining. All those surprises... yummy.
Very nice act by Nagase Tomoya and Ninomiya Kazunari, both were okay. And a very good opening theme song entitled DR by TOKIO. (by the way, in the handoku that i got there was music keys on the top right of the screen. i dunno whether it was provided by the subber or the original version does have it, i think it was and excellent idea, especially for those who like to play the guitar. wonder why they don't make it like that these days?)
I would be giving it an 8/10 if i was only judging the last 5 episodes, but since the whole dorama has 11 episodes and of course we should judge the whole dorama without ignoring any part, the fact that more then half of the dorama -6 episodes- were rubbish, i'm giving it a 6/10
Thumbsup it's still worth watching, especially for those who enjoy Nagase.

Loved the whole show, i would have gave it 10/10 if the made the ending in a better wrapping, the ending was so so and not as sad as the previous episodes although it was 'the day'
Jyoou no Kyoushitsu [女王の教室] better than i expected [Rating: 8/10] finished Queen's Classroom / Jyuu no Kyoushitsu
When i saw the cover, i thought it was gonna be an elite women high school with super-strict teachers that teaches manners. Turns out it was far from what i imagined.
This dorama kinda reminds me of Matilda... but without magical powers.
Shake Head i think it's gonna sound a bit stupid to some people.
Scary teachers are always pictured wearing black outfit, with the usual scary teacher hair, and shoes that makes her look like she has no taste? Rolling eyes . Even black umbrella !
This is so not a family dorama but it has kids in it. What the teacher says and does are so explicit. She has a hand knife in her pocket, she knows everything, she can do anything, she talked about one of the student's mother about the mother being a boy-crazy slut and abadoned the kid just to flirt for a random good-for-nothing man and about his father being a no good boozer crimanal who is now behind the bars... in front of the whole class!
The ending scene in each episode is so wrong. it really ruins the atmosphere
The thing that annoys me most, is that why did it have to be elementary school students? It would've been more appropriate if it was high school students. To be exact, junior high school students, if the producers are afraid it'd turn out Gokusen-like.
But of course on the other side of the coin, tha fact that it was about an elementary school just makes it become sweet. It would be too dark if it was in senior high school. and again, thank god it's not gokusen-like. But elementary kids? so not appropriate.
Despite all those annoying facts, Queen's Classroom is actually one hell of an entertaining show! The pace was fun, the plot was good, and it also has the addicting factor! No doubt about the acting! The Amami Yuki was so scary as if she's about to stab someone with a knife any moment. And the best thing is, for each episode, you always get this feeling like you wanna slap someone in the face! It's great. No wonder two specials was actually made to it.
This is so like putting Saddam Hussein as a kindergarten teacher.

Kurosagi [クロサギ] mediocre, major eyecandies though [Rating: 7/10] Liked the whole show...
What i don't like is Yamapi's acting. Somehow he looked simply cold rather than kakoi.
The ending will make you go, "Ha!!??" with all that 'bang' 'bang' crap!
Lunch no Joou [ランチの女王] yummy... [Rating: 8/10] it has a whole bunch of nice casts, really nice casts. And overall, it was very entertaining. I like the whole atmosphere and pace. Yamada Takayuki wasn't as bad as i thought he would be, but i still think he's an average.
the only thing i don't like about this dorama is that to me, it doesn't have a solid plot. also, they were really late in getting deep into one of the of the problems, episode 8. also, i think the plot isn't solid and deep enough, and a bit absurd.
again, a no no for Yamada Takayuki, very average. And now i have to cote for Satoshi Tsumabuki

Medaka [めだか] brilliant [Rating: 9/10] it has everything you want from a school dorama, except fruity-boys. But i don't care, it's such a great show. It's definitely different from GTO or anyother you're trying to compare it with, definitely! every actor and actress in it acted well.
Minamikun no koibito [南くんの恋人] bleh! [Rating: 1/10] oh my god what kind of a disasteruous dorama is Minami-kun no Koibito??!!! this thing is sooo horrid and full of rubbish! the ultimate lame-ness will drag you into despair making you get nightmares with fuckakyon in it!!! holy crap !!! If you thought Fighting Girl was bad, you'll probably die watching this. the theme was sooo lame, fuckakyon was like this plastic doll with no soul ( and what the hell did she do with her face? bleh ) her acting was... ups... i mean, her blabbing was so unbareable you'd probably prefer to watch your neigbour's dog do crap in the sidewalk. once you thought you were nearly saved from this near death experience when fuckakyon jumped into the river with big hope that she would die and not appear anymore in the dorama, nooooo.... ! she comes back! as this tiny little inhumane thingi that lives in a barbie house!!!
My Boss, My Hero [マイボスマイヒロ] very addicting [Rating: 9/10] One of the best doramas i've ever seen. It makes you wanna watch the next episode right after you finish one. Great acting by Nagase Tomoya (superb expressions). Kashii Yu and Tegoshi Yuya did a great job, though i have to say the Tego looked gay rather than sensitive. a must watch!
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース] thank god it's not another highschool dorama fille [Rating: 8/10] Surprisingly good. Some parts felt absurd.
The ending was so so. Probably the best Yamapi acting ever...
And i'm so glad this wasn't just another dorama about a class filled with brandals trying to be 'better' since there are already so many...
Ns' Aoi [Ns’ あおい ] touching. worth watchin [Rating: 8/10] Ns'Aoi is really worth watchin you know! though it might not be as sad as 1 litre of tears, Ns'Aoi has it's own really touching moments. A little ciche, still good
I have to say Ns'Aoi is lack of romance, it was focused on Ishihara Satomi so you'll probably consider the NEWS guy Koyama (Kei?) as a cameo...
Orange Days [オレンジデイズ] excellent! [Rating: 9/10] This dorama reminds me of Tentai Kanzoku , but with less serious and less mature but more touchy problems. and it actually reminded me a little of Jose the Tiger and the Fish hehe , but Sae isn't nuts. A very beautiful dorama indeed, i enjoyed it very very much. the introduction was amusing yet the plot was very original. I also love the character development. I guess i love everything from it. Well some parts made me go ... becoz of all the sign language, but what surprisingly those parts were only a few eventhough it had so many sign language conversations.
The script is what i like best from it. I can't imagine how they came up with such script. The progress was excellent too. And again, i must say i don't regret voting for Tsumabuki Satoshi. Young but talanted. I just loove all the casts. And it became more addicting after episode 7 where more problems show up, closer to the climax. Beautifully pictured and nice songs too. Still, i think a few parts went a little too slow. and Ueno Juri's (she really looked like Utada Hikaru when she was young) part was so small.
overall, a very very memorable series! and it definitely has one of the best endings ever!
Shiroi Kyoto [白い巨塔] bitchy [Rating: 9/10] Is it similar to Iryu ~Team Medical Dragon~? The answer is no. I don't really know whether you should call this dorama a medical dorama. The hospital is just the setting. This dorama is daymn bitchy. Even the wives of the professors have this club thingi and they'd lick the other women's ass to become the leader of the club eventhough they're calling each other whores inside. Unlike Iryu that has the bachista as the problem that solidifies the plot, Shiroi Kyoto barely has any 'medical' problems. This dorama only talks about the dark affairs of the university hospital life. The only thing making it similar to Iryu is how the lead actor tries to crawl up to the professor throne just like how Dr.Kato did in Iryu. Talk about twists, this dorama has much much more twists than Iryu, but the character development isn't as strong as Iryu -not that it lacks acting skills or something, but you know the typical manga plot, they make strong chara developments- and it has sooo many great casts i can't even remember all the character's name. but I have to say, the soundtrack is a bit lame. But iryu in the other hand, was stained by Teppei's not so good acting, and, if you've read the manga version of team medical dragon, you'll find that the dorama's ending is a bit weird. To make it simple, IMO, Shiroi Kyoto is like Kurokawa no Techou in a hospital uniform wrapping.
Shiroi Kyoto is great though as a dorama, very good indeed.
Stand UP!! mediocre, last episodes were fun [Rating: 8/10] StandUp is not as bad as you think it is once you finished watching the whole show. I must say, the only episodes worth watching was episode 7-11. If you do start watching from the begining, maybe you should do what i did, torturing your own eyes with pegs just in case you fall asleep. The first 6 episodes of this dorama was simply rubbish, shitty, full of crap. Really. From episode 7, you actually feel that this dorama actually does have a plot, -the first 6 episodes felt like random bits of everyday life put into a 45 minute show- but episode 7-11 comes to a more serious story with a solid plot revolving around the 5 friends, evenly shared. There were a lot of funny parts and a little touching moments. You would even probably wish that you had such friends in real life. The simply ignorant and quite cold Yamapi suddenly becomes sweet and shows how much he cares about his friends in the last 5 episodes. The ending was somehow fun but the condom thingi is just too weird. Ignoring the first 6 episodes, this dorama is fun, 8/10, but if you count the first six episodes i'm only going to give 5/10 coz there were only lust and no laughs, and... no story!!! Nino's acting was brilliant
Tatta Hitotsu no Koi [たったひとつの恋] despite Kame-horse-face's acting, it's okay [Rating: 7/10] Despite Kame--face's lousy acting (ruins the show, really), this is actually pretty good! the what seemed to be a cliche theme -bimbo>love<rich, ugly>love<pretty- was actually done pretty well...
Too bad the pace becomes a bit slow at times. but it's needed occasionally for touchy romantic doramas like this. And you can't call it repetitive, coz what can you expect froma modern day cinderella story? you can see it all coming. no good company tries to kidnap the rich girl for money, mother of the poor boy being a club worker and does bitchy stuff to rip money off from the rich girl's parents, parents don't agree with the relationship. And of course the obsticles keep coming. And all you have left, is to be expecting the ending.
And what annoyed me the most is that you can really feel how they're trying to sell fruity faces!
I mean, like i said before, using Kame--face for doing a role of someone poor? that dude looks like he does more treatment than Paris Hilton. He's like the fruity version of Blekt.
What's good about this story is, unlike Beautiful Life (gosh i still don't understand why people like that dorama so much), there's actually a side story in it. A story about the love between the beauty and the ugly played by Toda Erika and Kokki so you won't be too focuused and
get bored with the main story. So it's like a modern day cinderella story with a little beauty and the beast seasoning.
Actualy, i'm not surprised if this dorama got an award. The story was a bit heavy and serious, and it's in the mainstream, a very touchy sweet romantic love story. What would surprise me is if any of the cast got an award. It's not what i would call stellar acting, and for some, not even close. But it's good to see the young ones do some serious acting, not the typical teenage love stories.
And the fact that it only has 10 episodes prevented it from being draggy. also, it's not only about love, but friendship too. and good news: it has a pretty solid plot!

the only thing annoying about it is that the pace is awfully slow! (especially when it comes to that Yu-boy and Saya-san )
the best thing about it is, it's so memorable. after you finish watching it, it feels like you actually lived in Sasara-no-Kan, at least for 495 minutes
Tiger & Dragon [タイガー＆ドラゴン] hillarious! [Rating: 9/10] This dorama is really funny although this rakugo thing is so hard to understand. didn't really understand episode 1-5, but after finishing the whole show i suddenly understand each episode.

Unfair [アンフェア] wanna try guessing the real murderer? [Rating: 8/10] finished Unfair. and i as far as i can remember, under 24 hours

Yan Papa [やんパパ] overrated [Rating: 7/10] finished Yan Papa
This dorama had one hell of a lousy introduction. I hate how they approached the main plot. The barely was any chemestry between Yui and Yusaku nor did they look like they loved each other, all they did was eyeing eachother, and then suddenly Yusaku's character screams out on the street saying that he loves Yui and gets married in the first episode!
The first three episodes were so daymn boring all it showed was a house with 3 spoiled brats that kept whining all the time!
Though with this theme it could've been more touching but i guess some of the problems especially in the first episodes was skin-deep and a bit cliche. the youngest doesn't wann go to school, turns out they still have a no-good father. And the thing is, the problems that happens in this dorama, when the problems are childish, they get really childish you'll actually laugh when you're not supposed to, and when the problem is serious they get really serious.
I guess it's a family dorama, nothing special, but it's definitely not below average and i think it was worth watching. It gets interesting and has a good progress starting from episode 4.
Well to me, it was worth waatching just to see Nagase Tomoya acting mature as a father
Yasashii Jikan [優しい時間] picturesque surroundings [Rating: 8/10] it's very beautiful and has a very strong setting. a bit slow paced. i just loved it when it nearly got to the end. you have to watch all of it to make a good judgement. very memorable
Yasha [夜叉] vivid imagination [Rating: 9/10] my gosh this dorama is daymn good!!! It's very nice to see a rare mystery/thriller/action dorama.
I have to say, the cast in it was totally perfect. Hideaki Itou was utterly convincing playing two roles at once, the hero and the villain (Arisue Sei and Amemiya Rin). And the person who played as the blind guy was daymn good he really acted like a real one. 'Tasty' yet very nice to know tha fact that the japanese still has some great young actors in their entertainment industry who is not another dancing boyband pretty face turning themselves into horrible actors only by selling their looks and makes your sister become annoying by making them say "kakkoiii..." or "kawaiiii" every 10 minutes when they're watching a dorama with you in the living room.
No doubt on the script. Maybe that's why Abe Hiroshi agreed on only doing a side-role; being a bodyguard/asassin.
thinking that the manga-ish plot and chara development was too biased to be made into a dorama, once you've seen it, you will be feasted with such juicy mystery, yet the wrapping gives you vivid imagination making the storyline and characters feeling more realistic. And these facts erases all the pessimistic accusitions that i had when i watched the first episodes of this dorama ( the first two episodes were daymn slow and lead into dullness, but it was very worth continuing )
