I am honestly not biased. Kimura Takuya is an amazing actor...and this was another one of his shows that I thoroughly enjoyed. Tokiwa Takako was a good lead, albeit her acting was a little overdone at times....but ultimately, Kimura-kun always saved it. And the ending was what really got me. Storywise, it was touching. One of those motivational dramas. I loved the ending song - sung by Shibasaki Kou, and moreover, I just love Takeuchi Yuuko and Abe Hiroshi together in this. Nogiwa Youko is excellent as the okami-san, as always. About the only complaint I have about this drama is that Jinnai Takanori is annoying as hell at times. >_< | Gift [ギフト]

Next to Pride, one of my favourite j-dramas. I LOVE KANESHIRO IN THIS!!! Mou, he was so incredibly adorable and sweet....he's such a tall handsome guy, there were some things that I found really funny in his OOC mannerisms. Some things that were cute: "gomenachai~" / "ohh yes~!" / "oui madame!" / "iyaaan!"...
I was also a sucker for the oldies theme in the show - some really good songs used here. Another Yashima-Kantoku sakuhin that I absolutely loved. | Good Luck !! [グッドラック！！]

Yet another excellent KimuTaku drama. Sounds funny, but I love seeing this man cry. It moves me to no end....and the chemistry with Shibasaki Kou is definitely there. I liked seeing them together FAR more in this one than "Sora Kara..." | GTO [麻辣教師]

Happy, funny, feel-good drama. Honami (Yonekura) was annoying at times, and Shiina Kippei isn't the prettiest thing to look at, but you can still get a good laugh out of it. Loved this, despite the viewer ratings and varied opinions in both Japan and overseas. It was painful to watch....in that it was difficult to see Kimura-kun play such a nasty role. The story itself was horribly devastating too - unrealistic, yes, but it still made me cry like mad at the end. Fukatsu Eri and KimuTaku were both extremely good in this, I thought - the only thing that turned me off was Sanma...lol. | Stand UP!!

I have NO COMPLAINTS about this drama. It was highly inspirational, and moving, great soundtrack (yay for Satou Naoki - who did the OST for Good Luck!! and X TV -the anime- as well)....and Fukuyama Masaharu's "NIJI" as the title song!! Yamada Takayuki, Moriyama Mirai, extremely promising actors. I was in Japan when they were filming this, and believe me when I say that the work that went into this show was incredible. Hours and hours of intense training, and the end result was amazing.
