the real densha must be so proud of having spawned this - and this drama is everything it's hyped up to be. completely moving and nostalgic, but also exaggerated and funny and corny. it totally kills sunao ni narenakute or any other series that thinks it can capture the beauty of the human condition as it truly exists and unfolds in the online medium. shit, the finale had the best dramatic tension. beautiful. and kosuke toyohara is the best! | Engine [エンジン]

i appreciate this drama for venturing into a lot of sensitive youth-related issues. it wasn't played out as well as i'd hoped, a little too long and winding. but all in all, quite moving. juri ueno is amazing as ever. |

wow. this was good. i mean very repetetive and mostly predictable, but somehow the atmosphere carried over perfectly to the end. some great moments for the director of photography, and musical director. i guess i just wish they left more characters alive^^ worth the marathon. |

As usual, a little tooo much drama and repetition. BUT. The last episode brought the whole national pride issue out of the sappy background and into the spotlight, and rightly so. So that bumped this drama up to a 9 from an 8. And also. Really, that was a 0 chemistry and awkward all the way love story for me. BUT. Takuya Kimura just happends to have the uncanny ability to make any couple's last scene look so incredibly romantic. |

wow. this was better than i thought, even with all the hammy moments. i truly appreciate how it tackled discrimination and the flawed justice system as it exists in japan, without ending with a blatant call to hope and change. it was trying to do a lot... but somehow, it worked. loved the ending. beautiful <3 |
