The most eye-catching roles are that of Captain Koda, the unfeeling "cyborg", followed by the clueless Korean neighbour who steal the show each time she appears. This series is really good thanks to the directing, casting and interesting insights in this line of work. |

I had the feeling that this series would have a big shoe to fill after the immediate success of Long Vacation. Thankfully, the perfect combo of Kimura and Matsu really shines in this classic love story. This is Matsu's best performance ever!! |

The ever romantic "First Love" by Utada and the image of Hikaru calling out �gSensei Sensei!!�h will appear in my head whenever I think of this series. Great performances by Mutsushima and Takizawa, but I felt some of the scenes should have been made more subtle. |

Nagase is throughly wacky as cool superstar idol one moment and mushy husband the next. Takeuchi Yuko has also left me a good impression as the cute and loving wife. "Hitoribotchi no Haburashi" is really a gem of a song, Nagase/Sakuraba's longing voice brings out the most touching moments of this series. | My Little Chef

Like the original, this series is light-hearted and inspiring. The boys have far bigger obstacles thrown at them this time. But still, they take their stumbles in strides and overcome them with the spirit of wanting to perform. Their passion moves me to tears constantly.
