I thought it was great. Though I would have loved a different ending, in hindsight, this ending is in keeping with the style of the story. The show isn't a normal love story so why would it have a normal love story ending? I also liked to see an overall serious Sorimachi that's a bit of a departure from his usual carefree characters like in GTO..... |

Pretty Good! [Rating: 8/10]
Not exactly the best dorama in the world but great nontheless. I believe this is the first dorama Tomosaka Rie has been where she is the main character. It also stars a then unknown Fukada Kyoko. This dorama is not for the romantics but if you like action and stories about the power of friendship, this is for you. But for you sentimetal people, the story gets to crying stage at the end of the series. Plus the dialogue and situations that the five girls get into is funny at times. Plus, it's interesting to see exactly how the girls get their missions done. Another bonus, I think, is that the ending is not fairy tale like as other doramas. It has action, sad moments, and funny moments. It's a well rounded drama with something for everyone. | Hito ni Yasashiku [人にやさしく / ３ピース]

The New Kindaichi [Rating: 7/10]
Suzuki An is back in another Kindaichi series but this time, instead of being a shy little girl in a cameo of the second season of the original, she stars as sidekick Miyuki. Being a fan of the old series, I do prefer the old version better. But it is nice to see some new cases. The only problem I have is that this series is short. Kindaichi shonen no jikenbo 2 [Rating: 8/10]
This is one of the very first doramas I've ever seen and I thought it was good. Of course, the cases are predictable but it's still interesting to see if you're suspicion is correct and to see how Hajime (Tsuyoshi) points out the culprit because he usually does something interesing instead of just saying "He did it!" Plus I loved Tomosaka's and Tsuyoshi's arguments because they are quite hilarious. After you watch the cases, there isn't much replay value, but the hilarious bits in the beginning and end (sometimes in th middle) of each episode are fun to wath over and over. |

I don't understand why this dorama is such a big deal. It's a typical boy gets girl story.....that's understandable since most doramas are like that. The thing is though, the boy keeps showing that he isn't much of a catch himself so it was hard for me to wish for a happy ending. But I did enjoy the music. | Nemureru mori [眠れる森]
Okay Drama [Rating: 7/10]
Even though it was interesting, I did not think that the identity of the killer was a big surprise. After they reveal the past of the couple (the dorm scene), that's when I got it. The music was a little limited. Though I did figure out who the killer was early one, I liked the way the story pieces get put together while not completely giving a definite killer. Plus I like the little twists in the story and I loved trying to figure out what actually happened whenever a flashback happens. All in all an okay drama. (Plus the way they did the opening sequence was great. I completely missed it.) |

I thought it was good. It has a harder edge than normal teen dramas and that's one of the things that appealed to me. I liked it in the beginning but then it started to go downhill for me. The plot tries to keep it interesting with numerous twists here and there that eventually I found it too unrealistic to happen. Fantastic love story [Rating: 9/10]
I loved this show! The chemistry between Hirosue and Tsuyoshi was great! The rest of the cast was fantastic as well. Very touching and romantic with some comedic moments to make it a great overall show. Other than a short scene in one of the later episodes......an unexpected and touching ending that made me tear up (this, Kamisama, Mou Sukoshi Dake and Beautiful Life are the only dramas that have done that) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! | Taiho shichauzo [逮捕しちゃうぞ]
