Ito Misaki is out of her unobtainable girl regular kind of role of her. She is portraited as an only human kind of human with flaws and visible insecurities. Hanafusa Kento shows an admirable curiosity that get oneself wanting to be similar. The drama presents a good amount of very interesting concepts that are taken as logical but one realizes that many are unknown. It also has a very good theme song. Another drama with kimura takuya, in which he portrays, (as he always does), a cocky guy role. That is getting old for me, a little change would be good. Anyway, this drama is regular, regular because it's called Engine but its racing sequences are too scarce, its name is just a name but the drama itself doesn't live up to it. You can see right from the start that this one was one of the big guns for monday night's during its run in 2005, the aerosmith theme song, the racing track scenes (although few), takuya himself; all of these elements presuppose a big budget. Acting was good, the soundtrack works well with the drama, has toda erika in it. Not a bad drama but it could've been better. |

Awesome drama, it has the smooth korean story telling for love stories and the great acting of fukada kyoko. It is a perfect blend between japanese / korean audiovisual capabilities. It appeals to me in a special manner because I am also interested and trying to make a career in the same field as the male lead but also, not so sure all together. It has a great soundtrack and it is a very beautiful enjoyable experience. It gets a 9 but there PROBABLY needed to be more episodes for the series, but not necessarily either. | Gokusen [ごくせん]

t's an enjoyable drama. It focuses more on the flight world and not so much on the love story. The ending theme was not that good form the first moment but it showed to be very catchy. The show does good on developing and resolving the characters' internal struggles. |

I cried on many occasions during this dorama. It is a really sad story and I have yet to see the special but I feel that it just wont do for me. We'll see... A very good and inspiring dorama which makes you treasure life no matter under what conidtions it is. I have nothing bad to say about this dorama. The premise of this drama is terrible! A guy who can't say the truth to his loved one about him being the one who is going to die instead of her. And absolutely marvelous, they try a surgery on him at the end of the series... why couldn't they had tried it before? I know! Because the series would have run out of plot material! Lame! I became tired of the repetitive pattern of violence that the drama depicts towards Michiru from her boyfriend,(this slows down the drama and tends to make it boring at times). She is almost stupid at time regarding this. On the other hand the series shows a pretty relationship among all the members of the house, and develops well all the characters' troubles, findings and outcomes. The theme song blends perfectly with the drama's theme. Eri is a drop dead gorgeous looking character. |

The whole series is really good, the way it presents the problems all they characters have to go thru and the solutions that they come to for solving those problems is very amusing. It also has a message about not doing bad to others regardless of how much they have put you thru, there is always forgiveness. By taking revenge you will not have peace but only more suffering. The final episode is just a little bit too long and slow for me in terms that it pretty much summarizes all the episodes and the viewers attention gets lost. Also, the few new pieces of the story that this episode presents are just too few for the view to keep an interest in the whole episode without fast forwarding it. This drama is enjoyable, not excellent but it has its moments. I specially liked its opening sequence, every time I saw it I felt like at a sunny beach within a very retro time. This is an enjoyable drama, however it does have some flaws. The fighting scenes suck because they look unrealistic and sometimes not comply with the requirements of a given situation. Also the behaviour of shuuji toward natsumi feels way unrealistic. Despite that, the drama has a warmth to it, the cuttings of when people are eating really helps to increase the level of hunger amongst viewers of the show. The music accomodates nicely with the easy going environment of the drama. Finally the acting very very good. |

This drama deals with Yakuza in a very funny manner. Makio's character is played extremely well by the actor, this expressions are not annoying but they are very funny and practical for this role. In contrast for example with Yakuko to Kenji were they are supposed to be Yakuza bu all the do is twist their necks and throw CG rays from their eyes to each other. Aragaki san again is so damn cute in her role, I actually wanted them to kiss Sakaki and her (perv thought :P), although it IS a little too odd for a Yakuza guy to fall for a high school girl, even if she is as cute as Yui. The theme song by TOKIO is enjoyable and all in all, I laughed and had a great time watching this drama! It gets a 9 because it leaves some loose ends such as, sakurakoji confessing to Arakagi based on the history's dialogs. | Orange Days [オレンジデイズ]

his drama plot has been used many times before, I can say for example Change (1998), it executes it in a funny way that makes it enjoyable nevertheless. It has its funny moments but nothing that will remain with you for long. Great theme song, very cute. Drama was a little too dramatic for my taste, not a big fan of queen or better said didn't like the fact that its theme song was non japanese. Takuya's character maintains his characteristic cool/cocky way of being and carries it throughout the entire show reaction as one would not expect. he girls are cute, the theme song is catchy. However the dorama has many stupid elements, teaches you a lesson or two regarding the so called love and/or sex. Also the guys are too desperate for sex and that wares out quickly.
