reminds me a little bit of Last Friends in that it deals with a lot of sensitive and controversial issues like drugs and domestic violence. The only difference is that these characters are in middle school. You watch each character try to cope with the pain inside of them in different ways as friends watch on and try to help. it's a serious drama, but it's very very good; i definitely recommend it! :) |

not the best drama; i cant place my finger on why. the music timing seemed really off. like when someone was tearing up, there would be no music or the wrong music, so the viewer really has no cue that its a sad moment; cuz otherwise it just seems emotional, but nothing for a guy to start crying over. D: but in the end, the last episode really made the whole drama worth it! it leaves you with a nice warm feeling. o^^o so if you're going to watch it, make sure you watch it to the very end so it's worth the while! | Giragira [ギラギラ]

i watched this one because i absolutely LOVED toma in hana kimi, but this drama was incredibly slow most of the time, and isnt one that leaves a lasting impression.
However, i REALLY enjoyed watching Harada Natsuki's character develop. I also really liked her chemistry with Mayama. i think it was their relationship that motivated me to finish watching the drama. | Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]

i think all the actors perfectly portrayed their characters according to the anime!! so if you're looking for a realistic take on the anime, then dont watch this. i think the cast is a little weak. aibu saki (riiko) seems like a weak, wannabe nodame (ueno juri in nodame cantible), and the guy who plays Night just seems awkward. Mizushima Hiro is just AMAZING though (as expected after his outstanding performance in hama kimi)!!
