Beautiful life [ビューティフルライフ] great story with really good leads, kept my unwavering interest till the very end!
Gokusen Season 2 [ごくせん２] Just as good as the first Gokusen, a rehash of basically the same problems the students are involved in, but still just as good, with a new cast of enjoyable characters.
GTO [麻辣教師] the dorama that got me completely hooked on doramas! Great dramatic elements as well as its comedy, with good acting of course! and of course the theme music in any of its varieties (vocals/piano solo/instrumental) adds a great touch to it all!
Hero Kimura Takuya is one of my favorite actors and he shows why in this dorama! The solo-stories are different from most doramas, but it's a nice change, and each one keeps me interested seeing the quirks and relationships between characters, resulting in a really humourous show that's well worth your time!
Yamato Nadeshiko [やまとなでしこ【大和撫子】] Nanako really shines in this dorama, even if she plays the epitomy of a materialistic character. I really like the rest of the cast as well, and the story kept me extremely interested, full recommendations for this!

Abe Hiroshi [阿部寛] Funny guy. He was great in Trick, and that was enough for me to love the guy, I look forward to seeing him in other shows!
Kimura Takuya [木村拓哉] Kimura is an awesome guy! He's extremely talented, starring in doramas that easily reach the top of my favorites easily due to how well he acts every one of his roles. Not to mention that he's a pretty handsome guy ^
Kubozuka Yosuke [窪塚洋介] Great actor! Loved him in every one of his shows and movies! (go see 'GO!' ~ awesome movie!!!)
Matsushima Nanako [松嶋菜々子] She's a versitile actress with great looks and great acting ability! I was surprised at just how different her characters could be, from her character in GTO to the amazing change to her role in Yamato Nadeshiko. Her presense in a dorama will regardless of if the dorama is exceptional or not - make me look for it!
