Kamisama mou sukoshi dake [神様、もう少しだけ] Oh My God [Rating: 10/10] This was one of the saddest dramas I have ever seen, but I loved it because it teaches us to love unconditionally even though we may be separated by death or something else. Such a tearjerker. I thought I would never cry while watching a drama, but I did and I know people were and are going to be crying so much when they watch this drama. A must see. Let it touch your heart as it did mine.
Long vacation [ロングバケーション] Classic [Rating: 10/10] What can I say? It's one of my favorite dramas. Kimura Takuya, Yamaguchi Tomoko, Takenouchi Yutaka, Matsu Takako, and Ryo. A legendary cast in their early careers as actors and actresses. Great drama and great classic love story. If you have not seen this, you should see it right now!!!! Don't miss out.
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件] Loving Unconditionally [Rating: 10/10] I must say this was one of the most fascinating love stories I have ever seen in any japanese drama. It poses to us an interesting question of how two people fall in love despite the age difference, but the fact they genuinely cared and loved for one another despite what others said to them. I was very moved by that. It taught me that loving one another should not be stopped just because society says its wrong, but rather it must be decided by the two lovers and Michi and Hikaru displayed to me, what it means to truly care and love for one another. The place of freedom we so desperately desire in our own lives was shown to me and to others who have seen this and who will see this. Remember where the "place of freedom" is for you. Great Japanese Drama and love story
Wedding Planner [ウエディングプランナー] Wedding Planner [Rating: 10/10] This was a good drama, funny and heartwarming. Really gets into weddings and how they are planned. So if you are getting married, this may be a place for you to look and see what kind of wedding you want. Good drama though
Yamato Nadeshiko [やまとなでしこ【大和撫子】] Live a life with no regrets [Rating: 10/10] This drama was so funny and touching. It teaches us a lot about the regrets that we have in life, but when we have the chance to love someone, never squander that chance otherwise it might become a regret in our own life. The would haves, could haves, and the should haves. This drama teaches us not to have that and to go after the things we want whether we succeed or not, but the fact of the matter is, that we live a life without regret. That is so poignant in this story and I loved it for that.
