101 Kaime no Puropozu [101回目のプロポーズ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) This is a very touching drama...but, i don't feel any chemistry at all on the couple...and lack of fresh stories idea...so it's an average drama in my opinion ^_^
Asunaro hakusho [あすなろ白書] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) One of the most memorable drama, in my opinion!!^^ A very good love story, indeed...only, I'm not really fond of the main couple, one of 'em died.....and the atmosphere is too 'dark'...so, in my eyes, it's not the best dorama =P
Beach boys [ビーチボーイズ] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) I don't know how this drama gets very popular in Japan...but it didn't impress me much. There are bunch of funny scenes, but it's just too boring, coz all they do is just sit and talk, sit and talk....oh, well...still the casts are amazing!!^^
Brothers [ブラザーズ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) A great daily life story of a family!^^ And then a girl comes into their life as the housekeeper, and everything changes...it gets very interesting each episode, esp. because there's a spark between the girl and the 2nd brother, but then it just hit the top and went downhill...the ending is actually a dissapointment for me....coz it's neither happy or sad, the girl left the family, and the family just back to where they were used to be...>_<
Dekichatta Kekkon [できちゃった結婚] Rating: 9/10 (Bought) Another one of the BEST dorama!!!^O^ A perfect mixture of ridiculous comedy and heart-touching drama!!^_^
Not to mention, I looooove Yutaka so much here! Perhaps, the best role he ever got!!^_~ And the themesongs! Oh, my gosh! I reeeallly want to buy the OST!
You have to watch this, no....buy it!! Definitely worth it!!!^^
Gakkou e Ikkou [浅野ゆう子] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Such a HILLARIOUS drama!! I was laughing soooo hard watching this drama, very entertaining!!!^^ I really love the comedy!
GTO [麻辣教師] Rating: 9/10 One of the BEST dorama I've ever watched!! No love story, yet VERY entertaining!! The story is just interesting and very original...also, love the comedy!!^^
Hero Rating: 8/10 (Bought) I luv this one!!^O^ Probably, not the best....but the composition is just perfect : comedy, blur-romantic, and y'know...sometimes, interesting cases!
Maybe, some people find it boring...but I don't!! The HILLARIOUS funny scenes over-shadowed the boring cases =P I also love Kuryu and Amamiya's on & off chemistry here^^ Takuya & Takako is just the best duo EVER!!!
Hoshi no kinka 1 [星の金貨] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) I usually don't like sad dramas, but I was intrigued with Yutaka Takenouchi's acting and the sign language in this drama!!^_^ And, I ended up liking it so much!! Esp. Yutaka's character, Takumi!! =P
Hoshi no kinka Season 2 / Zoku hoshi no kinka [續。星の金貨] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) I think the story improved in this one, and I like it better coz Takumi got more important role in this part 2!!!^_^ Still...the ending is just too sad....and why can't Aya and Takumi just be together????? =((((
Iguana no musume [イグアナの娘] Rating: 5/10 (Watched) I don't really like this drama...the atmosphere is just so weird and 'dark'...and it's just very disgusting whenever the iguana's face showed up >_< The story isn't that good either!
Itazura na Kiss [イタズラなKiss] Rating: 9/10 (Bought) The MOST hillarious drama I ever watched!! I was laughing non-stop watching this drama!!^O^ Kashiwabara Takashi and Sato Aiko are just adorable! Although there's LOTS, LOTS of funny scenes...but, they keep on track on maintaining the quality of the story!! There's some touching scenes, too(although sometimes they were overshadowed by the funny scenes =P)! A very entertaining one!
Koi no paradise [恋のパラダイス] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Not the best comedy...but, I like the idea of the story!!^_^ Tells you about the life of three sisters...very interesting! I had a good laugh watching this one...
Long vacation [ロングバケーション] Rating: 9/10 (Bought) One of the best drama of the decade! How can I not love this one?? But, for me...there are some things missing. It's a great story, alright! Reeaaally love the opening credits(matched very well with the COOL themesong! Which is one of my favorite DORAMA themesong), love the cheerful & bright atmosphere, and the relationship between the characters are just great. It's just Takuya and Tomoko lack on chemistry...their love story is just blur(i dunno how to describe), but it just don't hit you, y'know! Oh, well...still like it, anyway!^_^
Love generation [ラブジェネレーション] Rating: 10/10 (Bought) Could it BE a more beautiful love story?? This is like, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY EVER!! And one of the BEST romantic comedy dorama, indeed! I LOVE IT!
Takuya and Takako Matsu is just the BEST couple! They shared a perfect on-screen chemistry!!!^_______^ I just love how they made every precious moments looks beautiful, y'know with the combination of beautiful background musics, beautiful and deep meaningful dialogues, and of course they did a great job in the acting section!!^^ This is my most favorite dorama!
However, the supporting characters' story is weak =( Soichiro and Sanae's love story is just too lame and boring....oh, well, every drama has it's own laxity!!^^
Messengers [メッセンジャー] Rating: 9/10 (Bought) Another hillarious one!! But this one is a movie...and has a fresh idea on the story!! LUV IT!
News no onna [ニュースの女] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Just like GTO, doesn't need a romantic type story to attract viewers!^^ Lots of funny scenes occur, and the story of a reporter is just interesting! That's what have drawn me watching this drama!!!^_^
P.S. Genki desu, Shunpei [P.S.元気です、俊平] Rating: 7/10 (Bought) A college love story...it's okay, but don't like the couple >_< I dunno...Koichi and Asaka just don't have the chemistry...and doesn't really match with each other either =(
Shota no sushi [将太の寿司] Rating: 7/10 (Bought) Focusing on how the leading role becomes the greatest sushi-maker...I thought it'd be interesting...but, turns out...it's not!>_< Very dissapointing!
Suteki na kataomoi [すてきな片想い] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) A classic romantic comedy love story!! I LUV IT! Miho Nakayama and Yanagiba Toshiro really nailed it!!^^ They're very cute...the story is sooo cute, too!!
Tokyo Love Story [東京ラブストーリー] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) The most classic love story ever!!!^_^ How can anyone forget Kanji and Rika?? But, I don't like sad ending stories...so...=P
Uso Koi [ウソコイ] Rating: 7/10 (Watched) Actually, it should be a pretty good story, LOTS of funny and entertaining scenes! It's just don't develope much. And, Faye Wong is NOT a good actress >_< Plus, she and Nakai Kiichi don't have any chemistry at all!!! Too bad...

Dekichatta Kekkon [できちゃった結婚] A MUST WATCH!!! [Rating: 9/10] This is gotta be one of my most favorite dorama! The atmosphere, the acting, the storyline, the music, the dialogues, are all in a perfect composition!!! Not to mention the comedy plus touching scenes!!! I'm not bored to watch it over and over again ^_^ And, gotta love Yutaka's acting here, superb!
Last Christmas [ラストクリスマス] Great chemistry between Oda and Yada! [Rating: 8/10] Kenji and Yuki is THE BEST COUPLE!!! Really cute couple!!!! I love the way they bicker with each other!! haha....Akiko Yada is cute! I really like Yuki's character! and I looove Yada's drunk acting, sooo funny and kawaii!!^.^ I just love their love story!!! I loooove all the western 80s soundtrack too! sugoi! Last Christmas by WHAM ga daisukiiiii!!! haha...but i dislike Oda Yuuji's version x) i keep wondering why didnt they just use the original song....heehee, Oda may be a great actor...but not a good singer x)
oh, but i have to say, that the love sub-plots are all CRAPS!!! Nana Katase and Tamaki Hiroshi are soooo annoying and boring! Their characters AND story are just crap. While the love triangle story between Goro, the sexy girl and the boy....althou uninteresting, but i like their funny characters^^ oh, but I do like the husband and wife quarrel, between Kenji's first girlfren and her husband...hehee, funny! and they made up thru the radio, very romantic!!^^ their dog is sooooo cute!
But, really....this drama is really just about Kenji and Yuki, for me....^_^ Great couple! i love the scene where Kenji and Yuki did the Titanic-pose!! haha!^^
btw, dont you think the way Yuki calls, "Keen-ji~!!", is sooooo similar with the way Rika Akana calls, "Kaan-chi~!!" ??? i thought i went dejavu there for awhile x)

Seikimatsu no uta [世紀末の詩] An Acceptable Drama ^_^ [Rating: 7/10] Weird. Light-hearted ridiculous comedy in the beginning. Sad and dark endings. Yet, superb, amazing and realistic acting from Yutaka, Yamazaki, and Maki Sakai which really save the show. Great background musics. Overall, an acceptable drama for me!!^^ As a Takenouchi fan, I have to say the childish Wataru Noa is my #2 favorite role Yutaka ever played, next to Ryunosuke in Dekichatta, and ahead of Takumi in Hoshi no Kinka^^
Shinsengumi [新撰組] Best Taiga Dorama EVER!!!^o^ [Rating: 10/10] Fabulous script, great directing, excellent musics, superb casts!! This taiga dorama has EVERYTHING! I'm glad the script is written with comedy in it, instead of the usual heavy and serious taiga dorama^^ Shingo Katori done a superb acting job here, we can see the character Isami Kondou grows and matured from one season to another season NATURALLY!! Yamamoto Kouji is EXCELLENT, he can make the audience both love and hate his character! Tomoko Tabata acted an excellent Tsune, Kondou's wife. Sawa Suzuki is an amazing Akesato[Yamanami's lover], brilliant acting!! okay, im running out space here if i have to mention the great casts one by one.....lets make it short, ALL of the CASTS have done an excellent job portraying their characters!! Unbelivable!!! Really, one of the greatest series EVER! CLASSIC! You wont get bored even if you watch this over and over! oh...and dont worry abt the amount of eps....its 49 episodes, but it is in a PERFECT PACE! not draggy nor slow at all, neither rushed .....The Best Shinsengumi Adaptation, There Is!
I've seen quite a number of taiga dramas and movies...and so far, i can firmly say, none of them beats Shinsengumi...yet^^
Suna No Utsuwa [砂の器] ~A Tragic Tale of A Little Boy~ [Rating: 10/10] Such a great story! Little Eiryo's story...soo tragic, and touching...I cried, cried and cried seeing how much little Eiryo suffered....
I love Suna even more, more than Shiroi Kage, Sleeping Forest, Ice World, Saimin, Sorakara and those other beautiful dark dramas!!!^O^ Sugoooi!! Its a tale of a father and a son! For me...parents-child relationship is always much, much more touching than love story!^.^
For the first time in modern Japan dramas I see the use of breathtaking sceneries!!! Gosh soooo beautifully filmed!! Love it so much! Definitely a plus points for the drama!! Great cinematography too! Reminds me of Shiroi Kage.....but Suna have even better sceneries...the mountains vast, the grassland, the sea, the cliff, the flowers in spring, in autumn, the trees of winter, summer....sugooooi!!! Whereas SKage is just about the lake and the sea ^_^
Yappari.....soundtrack hoshiiii!!! Musics are all sugoooi! I cant get rid the piano tunes of Eiryo's Shukumei out of my head!! It keeps ringing!! x)
Looooove Eiryo & Asami's chemistry!!^o^ Its blur.....but sweet relationship they has. In terms of compatibility, he looks best with Yasuko Matsuyuki(Asami)!^^ Coz her looks fit in to be a dark character, just like Nakai^^
The opening scene is sooo sweet...Asami held Eiryo's hand........one of my fave! Another fave is when he saved her from commiting suicide, then he embrace her, comfort her, it really left a deep impression.
I also love it, when Asami says his hand are atakai^^ And later on, Eiryo give her his gloves, coz her hands are always cold......sweeeeeet!!!!^.^
As for me...Nakai's best performance is definitely in this drama!! Not as Naoe, not as Peace...but as an Eiryo Waga!!^.^ Hontou ni! Sugoi yo! Superb! Such a difficult character to be acted in my opinion....coz it involves alot of emotion and sensitivity. Naoe & Peace didnt involve as much emotion as Eiryo.
I love Eiryo's character's complexity....no matter how he tried to form a new character in front of people...the cool, plain expression Eiryo Waga.....he is still the little boy Hideo inside....so fragile, full of emotions and such a sensitive person.
I love how he panicked when a police car's sirene passing by his mansion....he thinks he's gonna be caught! x)
And his anxiety, after Imanishi the detective exits his mansion...till he trembles so bad...some would think he exaggerate it...but i dont think so....it tries to tell the audience how fragile & sensitive Eiryo really is.
And its not easy for someone who just learned to play a piano for few months only, acting as a talented and professional pianist!! Trust me! Nakai did it wonderfully!^o^ I'm amazed!!! Sugooooii!! Its as if, he can really play as good as Eiryo!
Plus, he plays it with expressions and feelings! Hats off to Nakai!
Overall, Nakai did a wonderful, wonderful job!!! The expression acting, the charactarize acting, playing the piano acting.....all perfectly well-done and he deserve a Best Actor award more than anyone else!
And plus....Nakai's dramas/movie in these past few years....3 times in a row, has never fails to satisfy me to the fullest!!! Shiroi Kage, Mohouhan and this drama....Suna....^^
(Just FYI...I'm not really a Nakai fan, my ichiban in Smap is another member....^^ I'm actually amazed with his acting-skill, NOT subjectively!^^;;)
Suna have such a different plot!! Love its originality....as far as I know...none of other JDrama is similar to this type of drama....so, I'm not sure where should I categorize this drama to x) Its sure different than Sorakara and SForest...
I'm so excited abt this drama, and I want to get the original book!!!^o^ World War II was set as background in the original novel....omoshiroi!! It must be even more tragic x)
Team saiaku de saikouna futari [チーム] A great show!!!^O^ [Rating: 8/10] What an underrated series!! Why have I never heard any hype about it??? This is a very very good show indeed!!! Agreed with chentnk, that this one should be put on par with Hero, coz the atmosphere is very similar to Hero!! One case, one ep. And it also has lots of funny moments too!!! Not to mention, Tsuyoshi & Miki Mizuno looks so compatible!!! I love the funny & kawaii moments they have together, esp. the scene where they talk in their cellphones although they're only 3 metres away!! Kawaaiii!!^^ It's also so funny to see Mizuno's older brother aka Tsuyoshi's partner, always tried to get these two away from each other!!^_~ Overall, a very good police detective drama! If you love HERO, you'll love TEAM!! Oh, be sure you watch the special eps, too. Coz, the first special ep, definitely have a satisfying ending regarding Tsuyoshi and Mizuno's relationship!!!^^ I'm really looking forward to watch the 3rd special ep which just showed in Japan, Oct 20th ago!!^O^
