GTO [麻辣教師] Brilliant, fun story that brings the comix to life. Well shot and well acted.
Pride [プライド] Possibly the best dorama I've seen! An excellent story with a great cast, and nice, tightly woven story.
Virgin Road [バージンロード] Fun, somewhat complicated story with quite a fantastic premise... its brilliant!

Sorimachi Takashi [反町隆史] Brilliant in every role, but esp. in GTO. He made us believe he was Onizuka... and that's no small feat!

Attention Please [アテンションン プリース] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Fun dorama, although formulaic in the all-too-Japanese way (misfit tries to do it alone, only to see that fitting it and doing it right is the proper way to go... while still retaining a bit of that rebellious self) ...which is not to say that it isn't fun ride.
Thoroughly enjoyable cast and story, although I would have hoped for a bit more satisfying ending.
Beach boys [ビーチボーイズ] Rating: 7/10 (Bought) The subtitle version is so low res... if only I had an SRT file to watch the DVD version I bought.
Anyway. Fun, classic dorama. Always a pleasure to watch!
Bus stop [バスストップ] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Initally I thought this story was going to be rather dull, but I was honestly surprised. The unlikely career woman meeting a lowly bus driver reminded me of Yamato Nadeshiko. A similar idea, but quite a different tale, and just well acted by all.
Ushi ni Negai wo: Love & Farm [牛に願いを - Love & Farm] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Great and unique story with a very good looking cast. A nice departure from the Tokyo or other city-based doramas. It had a nice combination of serious and comedic moments, although I rather wish the ending had been a bit happier...
