Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] One of my favorite dramas, because it has the essence of the manga. The main cast was amazing, playing their roles very well. It�Ls just a bit sad we had just 9 episodes!
Yamato Nadeshiko [やまとなでしこ【大和撫子】] Excellent drama! Funny yet romantic. Nanako plays her role SO well, she's pretty funny also Tsutsumi-san.

Kaneshiro Takeshi [金城武] He's so gorgeous, so charming, so sexy, so mysterious... LOVE TAKESHI!!! And he can act!!! A good actor indeed.
Matsumoto Jun [松本潤] I thought Jun was just a pretty face and never had confidence about his acting skills because he�Ls a Johnnie. Although Johnnies are talented, I never paid attention on Jun. But when I saw him as Doumyouji Tsukasa in Hanadan, I was very surprised with his acting skills. He�Ls really a good actor and made an impressive job in Hanadan. Then, I saw him in Kimi wa Petto and he did it well too. But to me, his best perfomance is in Hanadan, where he looked exactly the same as Doumyouji (my favorite character ever!), and acted the same as him. Plus, Jun is very good looking, and now I�Lm his fan! Hope you keep improving, Jun.
Matsushima Nanako [松嶋菜々子] Nanako is really a good actress. Not so good, but she can do it. She can be funny, sweet, mysterious at all her tv dramas, but she�Ls still charming and elegant. Wish I could be like her!
Takizawa Hideaki [滝沢秀明] When I noticed him he was 16 years-old and had the innocent looks - so cute!!!
Then I saw his perfomance at Majo no Joken and made me fall in love with him!!! It was not so good (his acting), but his pretty face... OMG!!!
Now, after watching some shows of him, he grew up (err... not so much! he�Ls short!) and became a very talented artist: at acting, singing, dancing, presenting TV shows, and of course, he�Ls more handsome than ever!!! And that innocent looks have now became into sexy looks!!!!!!!!!
That�Ls why I love him so much!!!!!!!!!!!
Yamada Takayuki [山田孝之] Watched him at Sekachu, and he really CAN act. His acting is really wonderful, but of course, not perfect, he still have to learn more... He's not so gorgeous, but he's so cute in Sekachu! His smile and his voice are the best things in him!

Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) It�Ls an unrealistic, unbelievable and silly story, but it�Ls original, funny and cute. The show manages to keep you wanting to watch the next episodes, due to the chemistry between the main characters. I adored this one!

Antique [アンティーク〜西洋骨董洋菓子店] Very good!!! [Rating: 9/10] I�Lm still watching this series but I�Lm loving it!!!
I wanted to watch because of Takki, but this drama really worths!!
Takki is "genki" all the time, acting as a caring, sensitive and pure guy. He�Ls also funny with his manners, calling Kippei as "oyaji".
Fujiki... hmmm I didn�Lt find his acting was awesome. But... he�Ls so good-looking!!!
Kippei! I just saw him on Over Time, but his role wasn�Lt too big as in Antique. He�Ls a very talented actor indeed. His acting was so hillarious!!!
Abe, another good actor. Very funny too!
Koyuki - just saw her on Last Samurai, and I guess she�Ls more suitable to comedy roles!!! She�Ls also so funny, specially in the moments when she�Ls with Fujiki!!!
At the beginning of this series, I wasn�Lt too interested at all, because the first 2 episodes wasn�Lt so good at all. But, it gets better after 3rd episode. It gets better and funnier!
This drama have all elements to be a real entertaining show: good cast, wonderful OST (Mr. Children�Ls songs are amazing!), it�Ls funny, it gets a bit "emotional" at times (I cried in a few of episodes) and it�Ls heart-warming.
You won�Lt get bored watching Antique! Definitely not!
Beautiful life [ビューティフルライフ] Very good, but not the best [Rating: 8/10] The first 4 episodes didn't catch me too much, but I watched until the end because I just wanted to know what would happen in the end - at the 4th episode, you know something sad would happen. I liked Kimutaku in this series, his acting sounds so natural and funny in this, yet I don't think his dramatic skills are that good.
First time I watched Takako's acting (she's been dissapeared from drama series, isn't she?) and loved her. Her voice is strong, not that cute-childish-fragile thing that most japanese girls have, which it makes her different from the others.
Miki Mizuno and Takako's brother are SO funny, liked both of them.
The splot is good and makes you think about the condition of people in wheelchairs - it's not that easy to live like this.
A worth watching specially for the end!!!
Densha Otoko [電車男] Pretty funny, one of the best! [Rating: 8/10] Kitaaaa!!!
This drama is one of the funniest I�Lve ever seen.
Ito Atsushi does a wonderful acting on this one, although sometimes I was very annoyed with his weakness and his otaku mannerisms, but he does the most memorable funny scenes I�Lve ever seen!
Ito Misaki does an average job, although her beauty shines. She still need a lot of interpretation classes to hit on a drama.
The rest of the cast are pretty good, speacilly the otaku friend of Densha Otoko, Jinkama-san and the other guy who gets obssessed about Saori.
The plot bored me when Densha Otoko had to cry that much, but it is still one of the best.
I recommed everyone to watch Densha Otoko if your goal is to watch something outrageous funny!
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] The best adaptation of the manga! [Rating: 9/10] As a manga fan, I thought the drama couldn�Lt achieve the same level of manga. When I saw that a Johnnie would play my favorite character, Doumyouji Tsukasa, I thought it would be lame.
But I had a surprise since the first episode of Hanadan.
The settings were perfect; everything looked glamorous and poshy. The locations were also great, with beautiful images of Tokyo.
The cast were pretty good too, and I got wrong about Jun�Ls acting skills. He really surprised me with his perfect interpretation of Doumyouji, who�Ls so complex and complicated. Mao as Tsukushi was a perfect choice, and another actors such as Shun, Megumi and the one who played Okami-san did a pretty decent job. Nanako, as always, was good. The rest of them were ok, though I don�Lt think they suited for their roles, specially Yuuki and Kaede.
Abe (Akira) and Shouta (Soujiro) could�Lve been replaced by anothers actors, who would play them better. And they�Lre not handsome enough!
The story followed closely to the manga, although they�Lve cut a lot of things(which was obvious, since they had just 9 episodes), which kinda dissapointed me, but, overall, the script writers did an awesome job. It was fast-paced and sometimes I felt I was in a mess, but in the end, everything worked very well.
The soundtrack is great; the opening song suits to image of Hanadan and so the insert song.
Even having some "time" problems, acting problems, it was the best adaptation of HYD manga they�Lve ever did. The drama is very good, it has a lot of comedy scenes, a lot of romantic scenes, and the main thing: the essence of HYD was well capted by the actors and the producers. It�Ls an amazing drama, and probably you won�Lt regret watching it.
Kamisama mou sukoshi dake [神様、もう少しだけ] First drama and still my fave one [Rating: 9/10] It was the first drama I have watched and there's something special on it that makes me watch it at least once a year, and cry all times I watch to it.
The story is original, but a bit unrealistic at the same time. Themes like AIDS, family, friendship, love, life's importance are so well approached that will let you think about them after the end of every each episode. There's intensity in this show, in every scene, in every dialogue.
Takeshi Kaneshiro is brilliant but Kyoko made it. Of course she cries a lot and it can be a little boring at times, but she did a great perfomance on it. Maybe the only one good perfomance she did.
This drama deserves a 10, but since is a bit unrealistic, I would give it a 9.
And prepare your tissues box before watching it.
Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット] It�Ls good, but pretty unbelievable [Rating: 8/10] This drama don�Lt get my 10 because it�Ls:
- unrealistic (totally!)
- unbelievable!
- silly!
But it gets an 8 because, although I said above, this story is original, the kind of I�Lve never seen or I could have imagine it before. The drama manages to make you feel involved with every episode of it, due to the great chemistry between the main characters - Koyuki and Matsumoto Jun, and their good perfomances on it.
Because of these factors, I almost believed that a kind of relationship like their�Ls could be true and even I ended up liking it!!!
That�Ls why Kimi wa Petto deserves an 8. It�Ls enjoyable, it�Ls cute, it�Ls funny and I�Lm sure you�Lre going to entertain yourself with this drama. Don�Lt expect to watch a deep drama, all you will see is a romantic comedy drama.
Love Revolution [ラブレボリューション] Bleargh!!! Sorry, I didn't like it [Rating: 5/10] Since I watched Makiko at Over Time, I tried to watch all dramas she did. She's pretty good, pretty funny and has such a great charisma! But maybe she's the only good thing in this drama series - Naohito and Manabu also, but because they're gorgeous, not because their acting skills are good.
The story is boring, the characters just didn't that impressive perfomance (just Makiko, as always), and it is too "wilted": there is no emotion on it (is this cast's fault or director's fault?).
But if you're a fan of Manabu or Naohito, it worths watching, they're simply gorgeous on it.
Majo no jouken [魔女の条件] Pretty good, but a bit weird at times [Rating: 8/10] I just love Nanako Matsushima, her acting and her baeuty really impresses!!! Hideaki Takizawa... oh my God, too good to be true!!!
The story about forbidden love between them is not digusting like some of people have written, I guess is pretty normal to fall in love with a teacher, I have already did it. But love, when it is a true love, must go on, must be lived. And that is what they felt for each other.
But I didn't like some parts of this drama, I don't know why, but it gets weird at times, specially Hikaru's mother manner.
Besides that, it is a pretty good drama, a must watch and the song by Utada Hikaru is simply one of the best!!!
Over Time [オーバー・タイム] Oh, so good!!!!! [Rating: 9/10] This drama series is really good. Funny and romantic at the same time. Just love this type of dorama. Takashi Sorimachi is wonderful, charming and a pretty good actor (now I understand why Nanako is married with him!). Makiko, I love her acting, she's so full of charisma!!!
The story isn't that great, but is realistic, since it shows every-day-life-thing.
The OST is amazing, I just love listening to Believe.
A must see!!!!!!
Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu [世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ] Better than Beautiful Life!!! [Rating: 10/10] Right on first episode, you can feel how good this drama is. All scenes are beautiful, the OST is simply perfect giving more emotion to each scene, the story is touching and the cast did a wonderful job - one of the best I've seen in therms of J-drama.
Every word, every glance, every gesture shows all pureness, all romantism and the powerful love between Saku and Aki - Saku didn't forget her even after 17 years.
You are able to see in this drama how beautiful love is.
A must watch!!! You won't regret!
