this drama is a real 180 degree difference from the usual jdramas. this story revolves around 4 men and an unique cake shop, Antique. Although this drama may not be as interesting and captivating as other dramas like nobuta wo produce, it does have a special way of plot development. The show with an air of mystery around practically everything and as the show goes, the mystery just uncovers one by one. Each episode can stand by itself and has its own plus points. Oh well, in all a drama recommended for one who doesn't like cliche stories. And naohito was super charming in this drama =) | Attention Please [アテンションン プリース]

still watching since this drama is still airing so i shall give the rating later. However, so far it's the drama i enjoy the most=) The plot is basically about this girl who wants to be an air stewardess although her character clashes with the ideal one of an air stewardess. although the plot is not very unique, this drama is nevertheless pretty interesting and hilarious, well definitely brighten up one's day. Ganbatte is motivating :) It's a high school drama revolving round 5 girls in a girls' rowing team. Ryou looks very good in here ^^ The plot can get quite dry in the middle but well, it's still watchable! |

Ah this one is good. About a high school teacher who has super unique ways of dealing with his students, mostly with problematic backgrounds. It's motivational, and hilarious many a times, and well just simply fantastic. A must watch. The only drawback is the ending isn't done very well. It's called one litre of tears in english, and well i seriously think the tears i shed added up to one litre :'( This is a true story about a girl who suffered from an incurable neurological disease, how the disease changed her life, and how she managed to look on the bright side and cope with the disease. It's the most unique drama i have ever watched..
Though most of the drama made me go "EH!?!" and "OHHH" when they finally do the flashback, i think the concept for this drama is really original and commendable. Good acting by characters too ^^

WOOTS just finished this a few minutes ago!! It's WOWing. A little like kurosagi in the sense that the players had to go around "lying" and tricking other people. Basically a game with 4 rounds, and different game rules each round where people are supposed to cheat each other.. Though similar to kurosagi, it's much more intellectually satisfying. A good mix of laughter and tears (both from laughing too much and being touched:'( ) The story centres around how Maki, the to-be head of a gang, is sent back to high school and the way he copes with high-school life, love, friendship and being torn when he has to choose between his high school life and his real life. yay. the first drama i gave a 10 to. watching this drama had been so satisfying. It really shows the many challenges in high school life and how 3 friends stuck together and pulled through in the end. Although Shuji and akira's main intention was to "remake" nobuta, I think Shuji, in particular, gained a lot in understanding the true meaning of friendship, and gaining 2 such real friends. I really enjoyed pi's performance in this drama, the story would have been so much more boring without him :) Kame and maki were good too of course. Meaningful plot, great actors, what more could you ask for? School-goers esp, will be able to relate to this drama and i guarantee you will enjoy it. | Nodame Cantabile [のだめ カンタビ−レ]

the first time i attempted to watch this drama, i gave up at the first episode.
the second time i attempted, i gave up after watching half of the second episode.
but wow, am i glad that i attempted this drama a third time (this time jumping straight to the fifth episode)
this drama's episode 1-4 seriously s*cked big time i would give it a rating of 1/10.
however from episode 5 onwards, the drama finally picked up it's plot and got me addicted. I loved the interaction between the characters and was entertained by how loserly funny the 4 guys were. Great acting by pi, shun, nino and hiroki :) And suzuki anne of course!
so overall i give it a 7/10.
