3 nen B gumi Kinpachi Sensei Season 6 [3年B組金八先生] A brilliant dramatization of the school years.
Touching many taboo subjects while following the students life. Excellent work by many young actors/actresses and an overall "must see" show! 5+++++
Kasouken no Onna Season 2 [科捜研の女 2] Brilliant show. Much underrated viewer numbers but well worth the time spent infront of the screen. You will not regret this show one bit and the excitement truly hightens by the shows format becoming more and more structured for each season.
Onsen e Ikou [温泉へ行こう] My all time favorite daytime TV series. A bit silly, a lot of fun and somtimes truly heartquenching serious. A must see for any fan of fast turning dorama.
Star no Koi [スタアの恋] You either love it or hate it.
Personally I can not understand how I could wait so long to see this great dorama.
The tempo switch mentioned in other voters rating is not expected, but that adds to the flair of the show. Once more, all thumbs and toes up for Fujiwara-san and Kusanagi-san for their excellence on screen.
One of my personal favorites no doubt and highly recommended for anyone who wants a great laugh, some seriousness and much love.
Toshiie to Matsu [利家とまつ] My all time high, number one dorama ever.
I saw it once, I saw it twice then I spent 17 hours re-visiting 16 episodes in a row.
My eyes square, however much satisified with this heartfilled dorama.
Two thumbs up plus a few toes.
Techie's artiste votes (9)
Anzai Hiroko [安西ひろこ] She was a lot better in Hatachi no kekkon than in Sutaa no koi, but who can fail to fall for this great actress. Cute, witty and natural.
Fujiwara Norika [藤原紀香] I must say those who claim she can't act for nothing must never have been on stage. Dang... Sutaa no koi, episode 11, when "shooting a scene" she shows she is really where she belongs. On stage!!! 5+++++
Kagawa Teruyuki [香川照之] Brilliant portrayal of Hideyoshi... but it's hard to beat a character such as "Maeda Toshiie".
Kato Takako [加藤貴子] She deserves much more than a mid-day spot in "Onsen he Ikou", supporting roles and anime voice overs. Ganbare ne ! :)
Konishi Manami [小西真奈美] I agree with previous voters. She is highly underrated, and previewing her web site for just a moment you realize how much hard work this actress truly puts into her career.
She went against all odds, entered acting classes, has a resume as long as both her legs and is still not fully on top.
I'll give it the fact that she really does play "good girl" better than "bad" or "odd" however, she surely is my bet for the future.
Keep it up Manami... (and please help us japanese-lingo strugglers out by translating your website) onegaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Naitou Takashi [内藤剛志] In Kasoken no onna 1, great guy
In Chipu Rabu... a prick and he does it so well LOL
In Kasoken no onna 2, great guy but... he could have been allowed more ad-lib freedom and not being tied by the script, thus he might have done even better.
Naitou-san has a great deal of epxerience and his performance normally shows it too.
Much to bad they didn't keep him on for Kindaichi longer. He was really good as the slightly confused uncle, no doubt.
Ryu Raita [竜雷太] OK I can not understand why Ryu-san has no votes. In "Narita Rikon" he's a rock, and equally so in "Mama no idenshi".
In a silent, somwhat proud way, hillarious and completely filling his role as the older gentleman.
He surely deserves my vote.
Sorimachi Takashi [反町隆史] If one does not vote for this great actor, one is either dead or not able to view the screen the right way.
Just two words.... from his part as Nobunaga in Toshiie & Matsu
"DE ARU"
Ueto Aya [上戸彩] For heavens sake, please add Kinpachi Sensei season 6 to her resume. Dang, she is good. She's great whatever she does and no doubt she will have a long career ahead of her.
Not to mention her music alone.
Once more proof that Japanese artists in general are more multifacetted than other nations actors/actresses with modeling careers/music performances/advertising/fashion/dance and acting.

Onsen e Ikou [温泉へ行こう] Onne he Yoku (Wommen of the onsen) [Rating: 8/10] Great show that really develops towards the end of each season/series range.
To bad the epsiodes are only reduced to half hour episodes on TV, however theire really interesting.
Especially interesting since they very often touch on the more empirical issues in Japanese business society as well as interpersonal relational matters.
Great humor though, and of course, as always where Kato Takakao is present, someone really beuatyful to brighten ones day/evening.
