Boku no Aruku Michi [僕の歩く道] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Very sweet drama. Great acting by Tsuyoshi. | Busu no Hitomi Koishiteru [ブスの瞳恋してる] Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched) Very cute light drama. Goro isn't given much to do and the last few episodes are pretty rushed storyline wise but enjoyable none the less. | Gokusen [ごくせん] Rating: 5/10 (Watched) It has its moments but the storyline is very repetitive. Liked the students and yakuza members (the supporting cast) more than the teacher (the star). |
Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched) Very cute teen romance. Loved the manga and now the drama series. | Kimi wa Petto [きみはペット] Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched) Very cute light romance. | Kisarazu Cat's Eye [木更津キャッツアイ] Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched) So funny. The first episode was difficult to watch because the storyline was so strange but I'm glad I stuck with it because this was the funniest Jdorama I've ever seen. |
Koi no katamichi kippu Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched) Cute, light, comedy. Surprised by how good Goro-chan is at playing a nerdy spaz. The relationships between the supporting characters is very cute. | Kurosagi [クロサギ] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) Nothing spectacular, but I've always liked stories that involve con-artist schemes. | M no Higeki [Mの悲劇] Rating: 10/10 (Bought & Watched) The first few episodes are difficult to watch because you feel so sorry for Goro's character-- who dispite his quirks, is a decent guy. Kyoko is very good. You think her character is so evil, it's amazing how your perception can change as the drama progresses. The story does get a little unbelievable toward the last two episodes--way too many coincidences, but there are a few episodes in the middle that are very good. |
Nobuta wo Produce [野ブタ。をプロデュース] Rating: 7/10 (Bought & Watched) Very cute. Loved the relationship between the three main characters. Very surprised by Yamashita Tomohisa's acting. When Akira first appears on screen, I thought I'd end up punching my tv because he would be too annoying, but really Akira is the perfect lovable, goofy sidekick. I'd give it a higher score but I didn't like the portrayal of Shuji all that much and the first episode dragged. | Stand UP!! Rating: 7/10 (Watched) Funny teen comedy. | |
