Dekichatta Kekkon [できちゃった結婚] I love this show, it was funny in places, heart warming in places, and all the actors were fantastic, especialy Hiroshi Abe, Ryoko Hirosue, and Sonny Chiba
Hero This is such a great show. Funny, touching, exciting, entertaining, its everything a great drama should be.
Pride [プライド] Great drama? Maybe? Must be.
Everything was fantastic all around, plus the Queen music was awesome.
Taiho shichauzo [逮捕しちゃうぞ] Anyone wnating a light-hearted drama that will have you walking away with a simple smile, from the great characters, funny jokes, good music, and that is just purely entertaining, will want to watch this. If not, then it's for the beautiful women...heh heh heh...
Trick [トリック] Funny, clever, and well acted. I will most definately be watching Trick 2 at some point.
Tanaka Yoji [田中要次] This guy is in everything. I mean he is one of the most prolific actors I have ever seen, he's been good or great even when he doesn't have major parts.
Best thing about hero hands down.

Dekichatta Kekkon [できちゃった結婚] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) I love this one, very very good. Up there with Virgin Road as far as I'm concerned.
Gokusen [ごくせん] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Solid Show, though the acting and writing was weak in places, humor and chemisty helped keep it from going downhill, if you can get past the GTO comaparisons, then take a look.
GTO [麻辣教師] Rating: 10/10 The greateest school drama ever, this has me looking for more shows. Not to mention, Sorimachi is the coolest ever.
Hero Rating: 10/10 (Watched) More mature than I'm used to, but funny, smart, and clever. Likable characters mdae me enjoy this so much.
Koishite Shinitai [恋して死にたい] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) Some parts were amazing and great, and some parts were incredibly dull. Overall I felt this was a good show, and that it was worth watching.
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人] Rating: 6/10 (Watched) A very weak show, there is a lot going for it, but it really doesn't have the quality writing or pacing on other dramas. Acting is good, but for a show about a musician, it is a shame to only have the into song and the one song the main character sings. It's worth a watch I guess, but only if you've got nothing else or don't want to see Pride or Dekichatta Kekkon another time.

Taiho shichauzo [逮捕しちゃうぞ] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) All I have to say is I love Sachie Hara, how can I not love this beautiful women. Other than that, it's a funny show that has given me an interest in the anime and manga it's based on. Hope this comes to the US soon.
Trick [トリック] Rating: 9/10 (Watched) Good stuff, you can't go wrong if you're looking for some humor and light drama that makes you think.
Virgin Road [バージンロード] Rating: 10/10 (Watched) Loved this, Sorimachi again proved his salt.

Dekichatta Kekkon [できちゃった結婚] Fantastic all around [Rating: 10/10] I love this drama, all the characters were likable, happy ending, good music, especially since the thems play about 96 throughout the show, but I didn't find them tiring. The acting was really good as well, I was shocked to find Sonny Chiba in the role, but he was one of the best characters, as well as Hiroshi Abe. Everyone did a great show, and I very much hope to see great dramas like this in the future.
Gokusen [ごくせん] Goes beyond the GTO comparisons... [Rating: 8/10] The show is very much GTO in so many ways its not funny, but the diferences are noticable as well. The drama follows essentially 40-50 characters maybe. GTO was about GTO, Gokusen was about everyone, her students, her family, the faculty, and the police officer love interests, all the characters are dynamic but not believable, which helps lend to the shows strong sense of humor. Humor IS the one thing the show has going for it, the jokes are funny, and they are pulled of well, there is chemistry from everyone even between those who receive the weaker lines. The show is best taken in as a whole, it is unwise to make judgements until the end of the special. Yukie Nakama is very much the star and I would probably watch Gokusen 2 only for that characther, though the show in the end is just slightly above your average disposable feel-good fluff. It is fluffy, but I have to admit, good fluff.
GTO [麻辣教師] Great, just perfect [Rating: 10/10] My first full dorama, and I loved it, I mean i really did. The self-referecial humor is the best. And yes, I am going to comment on the great job sorimachi did. He made this show what it is, it couldn't have been better. Now go watch.
Hero Makes me want to go into law. [Rating: 10/10] This is one of those job oriented dramas, I thoought it was similar to GTO, but not as high energy, which is fine. The characters were all fantastic, great acting all around, and as far as plot went, it was easy enough to get into, I enjoyed it, 'nuff said.
Mukodono! [ムコ殿/女婿大人] The world's mushiest couple... [Rating: 7/10] It's really between a 6 and a 7 I feel. The show has a number of issues, but at the same time it ahs strengths. I think really the show accomplishes nothing, they end up where they began essentially. Acting is solid and the TWO songs that are in the show are likable, but you may get sick of them. All the characters are done well except the main couple who don't really get much in the ways of development or screentime compared to everyone else. It's a good show sometimes, and sometimes I press pause and go read a comic book for an hour then come back to watch 15 more minutes. Classic cheesy drama, but I'm glad I watched it.
Pride [プライド] Wow... [Rating: 10/10] I have never watched a drama in such a short time span. It was fantastic. Acting, pacing, plot, music, oh man Queen, everything is phenominal. I am a Kimura Takuya fan now. I forever will clutch shirt with my right hand.
Taiho shichauzo [逮捕しちゃうぞ] If you know what to expect then you're gonna be so [Rating: 10/10] This happened to be my first, and is one of my favorite dramas out of the few I've seen. It's great, I mean you walk away with a smile every single time. Good stories, great actors, and overall fun. This is one of few things that shouldn't have ended so soon. Good stuff, from beginning to end, just purely good stuff.
Trick [トリック] Simply magic... [Rating: 9/10] The plot was neat, though it falls apart a bit later on, but it really is a minor thing, when compared to who the overall writing and character chemisty comes together. Acting is more than solid, and the show as a whole provides more than enough entertainment if you are looking for something to get lost in two or three episodes at a time in.
Trick Season 2 [トリック2] If you liked the first... [Rating: 10/10] ...Then you'll love this, it does everything Trick did, but better. Stronger cases, better chemistry, this is easily one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. It is complete success.
Trick Season 3 [トリック3] Perfect Ending... [Rating: 10/10] Trick, at this point, is my all time favorite Drama, it was great, I mean it succeeded in keeping me entertained, and I loved it. Everything was just perfect. Now, really, it all gets overshadowed by the perfect ending, sure I would love a Trick 4-9, but the final episode left me, and I hope all viewers, with a sense of finality and joy in that we were able to watch a truly amazing show. Trick, was good. No, Trick, was perfect.
Virgin Road [バージンロード] I love this show [Rating: 10/10] This is a very good show, it moves very fast, and it is very much worth it for the time invested. The story and the acting are really well done, and all the characters likable. I enjoyed this very much.
