!!WARNING!! The review section may contain spoilers! Please understand that you may find out about this drama's endings and plots!
| 1. | mediocre, but watchable. [Rating: 6/10] a low 6 bcos the ending leaves much to be desired. kashina's luff was downright irritating + yukari acted like a total bitch. the show is mildly entertaining to say the least, watch it only if you have to time.
the first few eps were promising, but as it progresses the show becomes repetitive. what kept me going was the mysterious rlship btwn kurosaki and katsuragi, as well as the on and off friendship btwn kurosagi and yoshidawa.
however, i would like to defend the show to a certain extend. truth is, when one reads the synopsis there isn't much to be expected. it being manga-inspired, the believability of kurosagi swindling other shirosagis/akasagis so successfully will certainly be twindled and questioned when rolled out as a show. to put it simply, ppl can accept whats being drawn/animated more easily bcos it isn't reality. therefore, considering the above statement, the show can be justified for it's simple tricks deployed throughout by kurosaki. it just seems more flat when shown on a jdrama rather then manga/comic.
also, carelessness thrives on overconfidence. the fact that other shirosagis have swindled many others will prolly nv expect to be "eaten" by their kind. under the disguise of a common bait, many shirosagis will naturally fall for kurosagi's tricks, thinking hes just another "fat duck". u will be surprised in reality many others fall for simple tricks shown in this show, just do some reading on the papers (no offence:)).
i must admit the swindling processes weren't very detailed, perhaps due to the short nature of jdramas as well as the loss of accuracy when converted to eng subs. kurosaki not ending up with yoshidawa was somewhat disappointing as well.
all in all, the show is mediocre. but i definitely felt it wasn't a pain to watch, did enjoy myself at some parts even. sorry for the long rant, just cldn't help disagreeing with some of the comments. gomenesai~ | Reviewed by ex(alibur` on 9 October 2006 | 2. | I didn't mind the ending... [Rating: 7/10] I just finished watching the last episode and to tell you the truth, I'm not that surprised nor that disappointed. They always try to leave room for a special. Anyway, the first half of the episodes I thought were pretty good in their script. Some of the cases were rather convenient but at least entertaining. The second half was pretty much about Kurosaki and Yoshida, I mean Yoshikawa. I think these two actors did a pretty good job acting together. The swindling cases towards the end were too simple. I was just really bothered by Yukari. This obtuse love triangle storyline is old and just annoying. Why is there never any real competition instead of the usual evil sabotage that goes on?
The problem with so many dramas and even anime is that there is never a real or good ending. Another problem is filler episodes...To my surprise, this drama had neither of those. The episodes were never filler and always somewhat relevant. The ending I didn't mind because you could guess that Kurosaki continues to swindle or Yoshikawa settles him down. Whatever it is, it didn't really matter. The only convenient flip typical in many endings is when the swindler in episode 1 rescinds her accusation against Kurosaki...but at least this was explained in a relevant manner!
Overall I give it a 7 because its good enough to watch but not good enough to be on your priorities of dramas to watch. Now if I can only get people to reseed Nobuta wo Produce...haven't seen that yet. | Reviewed by himitsu-kun on 14 August 2007 | 3. | Not too Shabby [Rating: 8/10] If you enjoyed YamaP and Maki in "Nobuta wo Produce", then you will absolutely LOVE them in this drama. In each episode we have Kurosaki (YamaP) dealing with different swindling scenarios. Sometimes it gets a bit boring because each episode can stand on its own and the underlying plot (Kurosaki seeking revenge for the death of his family) doesn't exactly do a good job in unifying everything together.
The drama is a bit of a rip of the old Robinhood story, only not as good. YamaP's performance is good, but a little disappointing after his role as Akira in Nobuta wo Produce. Maki, who is a great actress for someone so young, wasn't able to completely harness her character. However, the two together make an excellent pair and perhaps there will be a little more focus on character development in the supposed sequel. | Reviewed by Wynter on 10 August 2006 | 4. | Disappointing [Rating: 3/10] The first episode was interesting, but it was clearly misleading.
I was thoroughly disappointed by the ending and the plot in general.
Should avoid this drama unless you are a hardcore fan of the lead actor / actress.
SPOILER
Other things that annoyed me includes:
1. The stalker-ish cop. Every time he laughed, I felt like throwing something across the room. (I have nothing against the actor, but the laugh was just creepy).
2. Yukari. Throughout the drama, I thought she was a horrible friend. The scene where she made up with Tsurara at the last 10 minutes of the last episode was unnatural and unrealistic.
3. Tsurara's senpai. What was the point of her character?
4. Katsuragi. How he got to his position of power was never fully explained, and I was annoyed by the fact that he kept spitting out his food. | Reviewed by chazarst on 14 July 2009 | 5. | It was alright [Rating: 7/10] Some of it was truthfully boring. Although YamaPi looked good, I felt like in some scenes he tried too hard. But on the other hand, it really did show some of YamaPi's acting abilities. The swindling was boring.. it was the same thing... gain their trust, take the bait, get their money, return it to the person who got swindled in the beginning. Some of the parts were also sort of cliche... but atleast YamaPi executed the part alright. I'm a fan of YamaPi, and to me, although I thought this drama was good, I'd rather watch Nobuta. wo Produce... Just my opinion though.. | Reviewed by heyydee on 21 October 2006 | 6. | Kurosagi has a really original story, [Rating: 8/10] Probably its script follows the manga, the story is simply great. From the first episode you see a unique show. Two beautiful looking starrings Yamashita Tomohisa and Horikita Maki did a good job. The inspector, Sho Aikawa from Zebraman, also is a very intersting character, trying to catch Kurosaki but secretly approves Kurosagi's swindles. He really colors the drama.
The OST is by Yamashita Kousuke (also Composer Hana Yori Dango OSTs) and I think is the strongest part of the show.
A 8/10 is well deserved for producers making this beautiful story come to life. | Reviewed by djorhe on 11 January 2009 | 7. | Worth A Watch [Rating: 8/10] A swindler who swindles from other swindlers to help those who have been swindled. I guess you could say it's something like a modern day Robin Hood, but a darker version. The on-screen chemistry between Yamashita Tomohisa and Horikita Maki is good and natural. No over acting at all. The only problem is the inspector's laugh which sounds forced and fake. Yamazaki Tsutomo's acting is also something that should not be missed. Some cases may be a bit dull, but if you ignore that and just stick to the main plot, you'll have a good drama that's worth your time. | Reviewed by doublemask on 9 October 2008 | 8. | Good: Maki and YamaP, Bad: Yukari, Ugly: Kashina [Rating: 8/10] Two thumbs up for Horikita Maki and YamaP in this drama, but the other cast members just drag it down. i.e. the policeman Kashina; his laugh makes me want to punch a baby. Yoshikawa Tsurara (played by Maki) 's friend Yukari is like a freaking stalker. However, the development between Maki and YamaP and the information revealed about their pasts is what keeps this drama going. Also, the music is not too bad either. Ending is not what you call closure, however, so I'd expect Kurosagi 2 sometime in the future. | Reviewed by aznkether on 24 July 2006 | 9. | MA-I-DO-A-RI! And in Kurosagi, he wore more than I could count. But what good is a drama without a GREAT ending? I have never laughed out so loudly in my life! Katsuragi, as portrayed by Yamazaki Tsutomu, will always be one of my favorite characters from a drama series! He was disgusting, old, smelly, and downright evil. But hilarious! Each week's plot reveals a new twist on this theme, and the stories are always tense and well-plotted.
That said, the cast seems to be not quite up to the challenge. Or maybe it's because the dialog needs to be sharper, the human situations more detailed. | 1. | Comments by apple_grenade [Rating: 2/10] I'm going to be super harsh because this drama caused me THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE YEAR. I watched the first 2 episodes and gave this drama the rating of 8. Since I finished it, I'd wanted to come back and revise it to 1, since there are no negative numbers. That was 2 months ago. Now that I've calmed myself down, I'll just give it a 2.
I loved the manga immensely. The drama totally ruined it for me. By episode 6, I even hated YamaPi. Not that I'm a fan or anything, but he's alright. I enjoyed his ill-treatment of the prosecutor-wannabe Tsurara. I'm so very angry with her. I'll get to that in a bit.
The three things I hate the most about this drama is: the constantly spitting guy, Katsuragi (freaking gross!); the two love interests, prosecutor-wannabe Tsurara and her annoying stalker of a friend Yukari; and Aikawa Shou's interpretation of Kashina.
I love manga's Kashina and I've some love for Aikawa Shou, but his Kashina is ridiculous and the psychopathic-ness is NOT the least bit interesting. His weird laughter makes me want to rip out a cat's gut. I repeat, you'll be grossed out by the constant spitting. I don't care that he's trying to make takuan or whatever. Ugh! He's as sly as a fox, I'll give him that. Just... stop spitting, for feck's sake. His caretaker is sugoi, though, at least. The love interests? Were the bane of my existence throughout the drama. Ichikawa Yui has ruined a total of 3 shows for me, the other being H2 and NANA Movie 2. Unless there's a good reason, I'm avoiding anything with her in it from now on. The prosecutor-wannabe just pissed me off endlessly. You want to prosecute criminals with that kind of characteristics? BS! I grew up watching my dad send people to their deaths and even now I'm in the field. You'll get creamed by the defense if that's how you carry yourself. Please, you're not cutely stubborn. Also, pick a side and make a stand for goodness sake. Have you never heard of Yoda's wisdom? Gah!
God, there's just so many things wrong with this show. The cons are stupidly easy that I got frustrated thinking that there are people in this world that fell for it, and I know there are. Yeah, okay, the premise is interesting. Which is why the manga was awesome. Although YamaPi didn't exactly deliver a terrible performance, he still needs lots of experience before doing solo male leads. And what's the deal with all the 'bang bang'? That got really tiring after a couple of eps. *breathes* Apparently, I'm still not calm. This DVD will go to the very back of my CD drawer. | 2. | Comments by abbyneesan [Rating: 9/10] The thing that initially attracted me to this drama was the fact that Yamapi and Maki were in it; I loved them to bits in Nobuta wo Produce and I was very excited to see them working together again. Maki didn't disappoint at all; though her character's lectures got a bit old and annoying after a while, I liked Tsurara and Maki portrayed her well in my opinion. Yamapi, though, it took a while to get used to. I was so used to him being silly and fun that seeing him as a cool swindler was very funny at first. The first few episodes I kept laughing because Yamapi looked so unnatural and out of character. I got used to it though and grew to love his character. I'm glad too because there were some Kusano Akira moments in there and they really invoked a feeling of nostalgia. I hope to see Yamapi and Maki work together on another drama and next time actually hook up!
The storyline with all the swindlers and such was kinda hard to follow because there was all this business stuff I didnt really understand. So unfortunately I didn't really watch Kurosagi for the story, but rather to see Yamapi and Maki together. Lol xD
The other characters were pretty likable, except for stupid Yukari-chan. I hated her guts right after I first saw her, and as the drama continued I hated her even more. The swindlers were very enjoyable to watch, especially Shiraishi and Hayase. The policemen were alright, but I thought that Kashima had an unnaturally high voice.
All in all, I'm really glad I stuck through this drama. It started off a bit slow but got much better as it progressed. Here I realized what good actors Yamapi and Maki were (not that I didn't know it before this drama ^.^)! I really hope they make a second season! | 3. | Comments by donna8157 [Rating: 7/10] A drama based off of the popular manga, "Kurosagi". It's about a swindler who takes from the rich and gives back to the poor. It has somewhat of a Robin Hood feel to it although it's not as good. Yamashita Tomohisa plays the part of Kurosagi, a young boy and landlord who is the only survivor in his family after his father went crazy and killed everyone after being swindled. Because of this, Kurosagi decides to take revenge by swindling from other swindlers. To find out information about swindlers, he is employed by an old man. He meets a young girl named Tsurara (he helped her father). She is the complete opposite of him. She wants to become a prosecutor and give justice the proper way. Throughout the episodes, Tsurara is his moral side - a side of him that hurts himself to see.
This drama was rather episodic - each show could have stood by itself. Each revolved around a different character and how they were swindled - then Yamashita Tomohisa dresses up in a disguise to swindle that money plus more back. There was very little character development and I thought that the personalities of each character was very one-dimensional. There was hardly much emotional or romantic development between the two leads. Aside from all that, it was still rather enjoyable to watch and it was good to take a break from it every now and then without missing too much. | 4. | Comments by shinji1246 [Rating: 3/10] Well, as for most people, as long as YamaPi is in it, it's a straight 10...I can't believe how many people voted for this drama. This show sucks. Every swindling cases are the same. Somehow in very case, Yamapi manages to get some fake ID or fake account of some huge company...wat a load of crap...how the hell does he manage to find inside confidential information of so many organisations, all login passwords and every employee detail etc. He doesn't need to be smart (and he wasn't) to swindle his prey because they're all dumb as shit...another thing...why the hell is he so famous with girls in this film? Well, from what i understand, it is because he is a known swindling 'criminal' and because his whole family died because of swindling...I didn't know girls are attracted to criminals!!! OK then, I should go out now and murder a few people, become a criminal myself to attract girls, hey! OMG...why are all Jdormas so overdramatic and unrealistic. Are these dramas targeted at ages 3-5yo. Story is always illogically developed and unhuman . Anime in general are even more realistic and makes way more sense than watching this kinda crap...I must admit, though that the music was pretty cool | 5. | Comments by tetsukei [Rating: 6/10] I would actually give a rating of 6.5.
This drama is a showcase for Yamashita Tomohisa. It is a stage for him to act funny, cool, hurt, handsome, childish and nonchalant. He gets better as the story progresses, but I feel that his deeper emotions were not well portrayed, save the unconvincing swallowing and smacking of the lips.
I did not understand fully the complicated relationships in the swindlers' community. Why would an old man like Katsuragi hold so much power over the active band of criminals? Must Kurosagi work with him?
I enjoyed the acting of a couple of failed swindlers e.g. Saejima Yoko (Katahira Nagisa) and Emori Kimiko (Ishida Ayumi). And what a surprise to see Ozawa Maju as Tanabe Misaki, so many years after Itazura na Kiss. They really brought life into the series.
Horikita Maki, though really pretty and sweet and rather apt at acting, did not leave a very strong impression as the female lead. The chemistry between the two leads is very minimal.
Once again, my favourite performance in this drama is by Ishida Ayumi. Incredible portrayal of a misery TV product company CEO who cheats housewives into paying for expensive starter kits! | 6. | Comments by calico [Rating: 5/10] Highly anticipated this drama. But even as I continued to watch each week, I was stuck with a nagging feeling that each new episode was just a repeat of the previous one. The plot which seemed so promising did not seem to be progressing at all, with episodes mostly being one-shot of how he swindle a new character each week. Then in the last few episodes, as though realizing the series is suppose to end soon, the writers hurried the plot to tie up loose ends. The relationship between Kurosagi and Tsurara was extremely unsatisfying. There was no progression, no development at all in this aspect. Overall, Kurosagi ended up being a drama that wasn't quite able to deliver, and just didn't do it for me at all. While I enjoyed the obviousd chemistry between Yamapi and Horikita Maki, it was a pity the writers was not able to capitalize on that to write a more deeper and heartfelt story on the bond between to the two protagonists. | 7. | Comments by Amano_Tsukiko [Rating: 5/10] Disappointing. I have little grasp on business and economy. That's probably why I couldn't appreciate the cheating and all? The cheats and counter-cheats are not as interesting as Liar Game. It couldn't lure me into guessing (Liar Game are all about logic and it was fun guessing what move peoples are going to make). Not very good at creating tension, suspense and twist as Liar Game. The explanation on how the cheating works is very poor too.
While Erika is perfect as Nao (honest to a fault and easily symphatized with), Yamashita somewhat failed as a swindler. Matsuda Shota looks good as a swindler but Homaki's character is nothing special compared to the ones in NwP, HanaKimi and Seito Shokun. The ending is kinda eh. Probably they want to set a sequel up? Then again, Kurosagi could still defeat Mikimoto for a more satisfying closure and keep Katsuragi active for a sequel set-up. | 8. | Comments by Dr_Pain [Rating: 8/10] HMm At the beginning I thought "woah that's so boring "...but anyhow i couldn't stop watching when i began one episode. xD
In the end...it becamse more interesting...too interesting to stop...
but i guess...that genre wasn't my taste. Dunno why. Cast was great i really love Yamapi and Maki Horikita :D but anyhow this series was too difficult to understand. It really reminded me of "Ocean's Eleven". When i watched the movie 1-2 times i didn't understand how they managed it to blag the casino....same fits to Kurosagi...There were really a few episodes i didn't get anything what had to with Swindling a Shirosagi oô but all in all it was entertaining. But not that special as everyone is saying ;D just a good dorama with good scenes, goot cut, good actors, actually a good story but sometimes a bit boring for me. For Yamapi Fans it is of course must-seen ^^ | 9. | Comments by Kitsuchi [Rating: 10/10] This is a good dorama. Interesting story. Good actors/actresses.. Not bad about Yamapi being the head actor and Horikita too. For me, actually, I thought the last episode was a bit emotional.. But about what happened in the end, how the dorama ended, I didn't like it. It's exactly as someone wrote - it ended exactly as it began. Not much had changed. I hoped for a good, interesting and happy ending, but no.. I hope, and am quite sure of, that there will be a Kurosagi II or something. Because the ending kind of tells you that - that the story is going to continue. At least, I hope for an ending, because even though the ending of this, I liked the idea of the story a lot. If not of the ending, I would give it a 10 ^_^. | 10. | Comments by ex(alibur` [Rating: 6/10] kurosagi starts off rather promising, but ended with a bitter taste in my mouth. the first few eps were actually, IMO, a joy to watch with kurosaki plotting his ways of revenge on the shiro/akasagis. however, it gets increasingly repetitive with its subtle plots of deception. what kept me going was the myserious rlship kurosaki had with katsuragi, as well as the seemingly on-off romance maki has with kurosaki. every ep was pretty much of a standalone, not much continuation in terms of plot/story. the ending was pathetic; it wasn't bad but definitely did not turn out to according to my expectations. to conclude, kurosagi is a mediocre show. watch it only if you have the time. | 11. | Comments by Tu_triky [Rating: 4/10] This dorama was greeted with much anticipation and expectation after the success of Nobuta wo Produce....but this dorama itself failed to produce. The acting was poor, and the portrayal of Yamapi as a slick young thief in the shoes of a "modern day Robin Hood" was thoroughly unconvincing. This manga-inspired dorama failed to generate a suspension of disbelief necessary for the viewer to engage in the story. The strained relationship between the main characters was completely unmemorable and unbelievable. The supporting cast was equally weak. I could not finish watching this sad excuse for a dorama. | 12. | Comments by dekatrain [Rating: 7/10] a tad better than your advantage drama, but nonetheless i was quite dissapointed with this one...it had so much promise that once i saw the ending it just frustrated the hell out of me...Very interesting characters, in particular the old man, the base of the story was also quite strong. However, i don't think yamapi fit the part - why does he always try to "act cool" rather than simply act? Anyway, some moments were done quite well and the dramatic intensity of the drama in general kept you on the edge of your seat...could of easily got 8+ stars. | 13. | Comments by Ashes_Wishes [Rating: 7/10] Not best I've seen, but can't say this is bad. The reason why I started watching this dorama is YamaPi. I'm not at end yet, but I can almost surely say it will be so-and-so -ending.
"Plot" is horribly interesting and when I'll find the manga, I will buy it. Maybe it doesn't have YamaPi in it, but it will be nice to see how much manga is different from dorama.
Butbut. Can't say anything else that this is a dorama which keeps it's watcher in tight grip, even if you don't like much the girl!head character like I don't. :p | 14. | Comments by Nobita-kun [Rating: 6/10] A lackluster adaptation which failed to capture the spirit of the manga. I found myself cringing through some of the beginning episodes, however, the series improved in the latter half (starting with episode 7), redeeming it somewhat. It is overall watchable but ultimately leaves one with the lingering feeling that it could've been much better. Yamapi makes a dashing Kurosagi but he clearly needs more practice with conveying the serious emotions. Maki is kawaii but her stubborn, holier-than-thou character got on my nerves. | 15. | Comments by crvn107 [Rating: 7/10] I watched this drama mainly because of Yamashita Tomohisa. I thought he did pretty well in Nobuta wo Produce and Proposal Daisakusen and decided to give this drama a shot. Well, after watching it, though the idea of this drama is interesting, I don't think it is as good as Nobuta wo Produce and Proposal Daisakusen mainly because I thought the ways he used to trick people are a little amateurish and the 'victims' are really foolish to fall for them considering the fact that they are sagishi-s themselves. | 16. | Comments by Swedish_Japan_Lover [Rating: 7/10] Um, i'm probably plain dumb but I actually didn't understand much of this drama... it was pretty complicated but i still enjoyed watching pi dress up and swindle people, I just didnt understand how he did it nor his relationship with the old dude at the cafe, well some of it yeah, but in the everything went to complicated... havent even watch the movie yet since it took me a while to watch the whole series... I liked maki's charachter though, sadly their relationship didn't develop as much as I wanted | 17. | Comments by mmyy [Rating: 5/10] As a fan of Yamapi, I was thoroughly disappointed with his first lead drama. Kurosagi is slow-paced, boring and doesn't know what it wants exactly. The main plot doesn't end, meaning there's no real closure, and the added romance bonus is plain childish and ridiculous. The random swindling events aren't particualrly exciting either and most of them just fall out flat or feel too coincidental. Sad to say, Kurosagi fails in every aspect except for a pretty lead male and good acting from Horikita Maki. | 18. | Comments by Susan [Rating: 9/10] Certainly a cheesy drama, but well worth the watch! I definetly enjoy Yamashita Tomohisa's crazy performances! From drama to drama, he always wears a different face. MA-I-DO-A-RI! | 19. | Comments by Qky [Rating: 7/10] No comment for now; only watched first episode and it was so-so.
*****
It was an ok dorama. The idea is interesting but the dorama itself is kind of boring. YamaPi is good as usual but surprisingly Maki-chan didn't deliver her best in this dorama. And what makes me rate this dorama quite low is mainly because of the guy who plays as the police. Man, I really have no idea why he was chosen for that role.. His voice totally disguist me, especially when he laughed.. It gives me goosebumps. | 20. | Comments by ginger ale [Rating: 10/10] I gave this drama a 10 for the pretty boy factor namely Yamapi!!! What a handsome man!!!! Throw in the kawaii ingredient of Maki Horikita and you've got a bon bon drama with two eye candies! There was the bonus episode with Koyama Keichiro of News. The story though was pretty serious and fascinating enough for me to finish watching over a weekend. And how I love the different looks of Yamapi!!!Its a mind game all over again and that's what kept me at the edge of my seat!!! | 21. | Comments by Oba-chan [Rating: 9/10] Great story, it should be 10 point, but i don't really like yamapi play kurosaki character, he is too pretty, and sometimes plain, maybe Narimiya hiroki would fit kurosaki character better than yamapi. Aikawa sho laugh was scary, but slowly i realise that the sound he make was great, because that is aikawa original laugh. Yukari character was meaningless, yeah, i agree with everyone who said that. Btw great ending.
Soundtrack: Daite Senorita [Yamashita Tomohisa] : 10 | 22. | Comments by Mimori [Rating: 8/10] While it some parts can be a bit boring I enjoyed this drama very much. I thought that YamaPi did a great job, the interaction between YamaPi and Maki was very good as well, though I feel Maki could've done a better job.
Anyway, even though I feel it was a very good series I gave it an 8 because of Maki's friend was an annoying b***h and every time she appeared I felt like hitting the wall. And because the ending didn't bring closure to several loose threads. | 23. | Comments by akane_MYV [Rating: 9/10] Wow~~ that was so much better than I expected!
It really entertained me...it was really interesting to see how the romance between the couple is going to develope, how is it going to end and how Kurosaki is going to solve the cases! I was always looking forward to the next episode...really nice drama!
But not as much as a perfect drama, because the romance was too less in there and the ending disappointed me little bit.
...Man I hated Yukari~~~....haha | 24. | Comments by cutina124 [Rating: 10/10] Love the theme song to this. I love singing along with the karaoke. This drama is good, and very suspensful. I was expecting drama, therefore slightly dissapointed, but if a second season they may deal with the romance there. I really like the actors in this and his little thing after defeating each swindler. Kind of like a signature action, like kon in nobuta wo produsu. I really can't express how wonderful it is, but I hope that everyon e will watch it. | 25. | Comments by Shouryuuken [Rating: 9/10] This was my first Yamapi drama and being slightly suspicious of the talents of boy band-become-actor types, I was surprised to see a strong performance by him. A good story-line helped good acting and sticking with a good tactic of doing unrelated episodes at the beginning and then slowly linking them together from half-way, made Kurosagi more entertaining to me than a lot of other dramas. Definitely a must-watch drama.! No problems that I could think of. | 26. | Comments by joychin [Rating: 8/10] Kurosagi is ok.. .But they didn't end it right. I guess it's because they want to make a sequel of it(i assume) . One for sure i didnt like was one of the cast....Ichikawa Yui. I'm not a big fan of her.....in fact,i don't like her acting even from Hotman days. She's one of those actress whose acting looks fake...to me. The story line is ok. The soundtrack especialy the intrumental which sounds like scotland songs(i dunno how to describe it) is so good ^^ | 27. | Comments by ~ushi~ga~iru~ [Rating: 6/10] only saw 3 episodes of it , stopped because..urr.. didnft agree with something the "lead actor " was doing in episodes 3-4 *cough cough*( might finish it later << ) but anyway of what i saw wasnft bad... kind of cute nice to see a different plot then the regular school / career drama. yamashita's acting was good at some points and a little off at others but had a basically solid performance, but I thought maki outshined him in what I saw ^.~ | 28. | Comments by G-Pjube [Rating: 8/10] Nice and good drama. YamaPi is a great actor and it was fun to see him having a serious side too instead of all the dumb-asses he played so far (which I enjoyed too, obviously). I liked the drama except for the end. It makes me feel like it's not finished. This is mainly because of Kurosaki not getting back on Mikimoto and Kurosagi completely ignoring Tsurara. Demo, it was a good drama so I hope there will be a second season! | 29. | Comments by carina4 [Rating: 8/10] I love Yamapi, I love Horikita Maki and they love each other <3333333wah!^^ the story is very good, not that romantic -. - DAKEDO very exciting, cool and very cute the small sceens with Maki X Yamapi <3 he is very serious and cool in the drama (maybe TOO cool) hehe I love it but it can NOT end with that sucky movie -.- no no it was good but hello! Nothing happend with mikimoto, no romance, no nothing so a season 2 please? | 30. | Comments by PureYuki [Rating: 9/10] Very great drama with a lot of fun action that kept me entertained and glued to my seat. The story was great giving you a hint of mystery of each character. Unfortunately they didn't really finish exploring all characters to its full extent and leaves you with a cloud of unsolved mystery. It gives me high hopes about the movie and how it will affect this drama. Overall its a very amazing drama with great acting. |

1. | Tukata I love this drama. Good drama with great plot and especially greatig acting from Yamapi. Thank God that he got this leading role. A right man for the right job :) He looks attractively handsome (as always...).... I am quite impressed with Yamapi's improving acting skill. A little disappointment with the casting of the leading actress, why Maki ?, the role absolutely doesn't suit her (and no offense, she - earning the academy award as best supporting actress ? a joke ? - sorry-) The remaining ensembles are quite good.
Hope to see more of Yamapi in different leading roles.... he is a truly promising actor... hope to see him in an international platform as well...
love you, my darling Yamapi... from Thailand !!!! | 2. | mok It's superb!!!I've never seen such drama before. So intriguing and thrilling. And on top of that, it include Maki Horikita and Yamashita Tomohisa.Double thumbs up!!!

Both of them are really cute together. Yamapi can be a super good actor because in this drama he play different role perfectly. Good luck for them. I also like the song Daite Senorita. | 10. | elinovy This is a nice series...One of the best asian series because the storyline was really made with effort. There are many twist and puzzle in swindling.Yamapi and Maki Horikita are such a cute couple.I'm hoping this series has part 2. | 11. | PureYuki One of the best drama based manga. This drama is entertaining and gives you a lot of mystery about each character development. Yampei is supbre as Kurosagi, way better than Akira in Nobuta in my opinion ^^. BANG! | 12. | domng Yamashita Tomohisa and Horikita Maki certainly has some chemistry going on since Nobuta wo Produce. Hope to see more of them acting together in a drama. Kurosagi Season 2 perhaps.
