Again a book that was made into both a drama and a movie. Again, the movie version is much better.
Nakatani Miki portraying Matsuko was touching and I really felt for her, Uchiyama Rina portraying Matsuko made me think that someone as stupid as her didn't deserve better.
Some things were different from the movie version (I don't know which is closer to the book though) and generally, although the drama was made to look more depressing (I mean... unlike the movie it wasn't a musical), it was by far not as cruel as the movie.
So, interesting storyline, unusual for a drama but it could've been better. |

original dorama, quite new things explored in it. I think uchiyama rina did quite well. Her young sister was so kimoi!!! But some of her reactions here were too much sudden! she feels depressed so she strangles her sister, she feels betrayed she kills a man, she receives lots of dirty money so decides to destroy it .... I mean give this fucking money to the poor!!! what a waste. And I think she is too much unfortunated to be true. exaggerated! But it's not a bad dorama! an alternative one. |

This is pretty depressing, her life just gets worse and worse. And I can't feel any empathy for her for some reason. Personally I feel that the Uchiyama Rina doesn't have the screen presence to lead this and the lead is a very important role in this drama. |

Uchiyama Rina does a very good job of portraying the character and emotional struggle she goes through. Could've done better on the artistic directing but it's only a drama. Is a nice contrast to the movie version, which is wackier. |

I dont think they cast the right actress for the leading role. In this area, I found that the movie fares much better. I will also be looking forward to see how the same actor stars as the male protagonist from age 16 to 48. Pass. |

A well done drama, albeit not uplifting in any way and not that balanced. It can get boring sometimes and while most of the main cast is excellent, some are horrible. But still above par! |
