Nothing like unearthing the proper thread.

OK here are our latest additions to th efarm. We adopted two mini horses, Remington (brown) and Steel (black) to be lawn ornaments. They are crazy cute but totally trouble if they get loose (long story)
anyway their new nicknames are "Too Cute TO SHoot" and "That Damned Pony. Needless to say we are completely enchanted.

Not so difficult if you have a very well fenced paddock to put them in. Hay costs are minimal. But they are little horses not dogs and tend to be bullies if you arent reasonably strict. Victory! Peace!

Yup. In that first picture Steel is giving the camera the old, "What the hell are YOU looking at?!!?" glare. Definitely has an attitude.

THese little guys would be pushy if we let them. We've been training them since they got here to be more polite when leading. The little one yesterday though didnt want to go back into his paddock. He was eating nice green grass on the lawn. So I dragged him be into it anyway. BEcause I could, LOL! With horses that is not an option. Victory! Peace!

Just an FYI, the Beastmaster isn't the only one here that's had to deal with "Beasts of Burden" (that's me on the right):

Yup. My brother is on the other mule, this was among a bunch of pictures he sent me. I must have been about 3. I honestly have no recollection of it at all. The mules seem unimpressed. It's hard to impress a mule, almost as hard as trying to impress a cat!
