Omotesando Koffee. This is the coolest coffee shop I've ever been to in my life! It's actually a coffee shop housed in a very old traditional Japanese home. You would never ever think this was a coffee shop unless you knew about this place. Charming beyond belief. tiny courtyard The inside of the house, aka the coffee shop!

Yes, it is quite expensive but I will tell you, I was quite fortunate to have stayed there 5 nights for free. As a member of the Hilton HHonors Program I used my accrued points for a free stay which literally saved me a couple of thousand dollars.

My second time staying here...the hotel is exquisite and the service is excellent. They actually won a number of awards last year...2013 Certificate of Excellence Award from Trip Advisor and 2013 Seven Star Global Luxury Award among them.

After meeting a new friend to go see a cool anime/sword making exhibit at this museum in Ueno we randomly stumbled upon these two women rocking out at Ueno Park. Pretty cool. Click on the screenshot below to watch the video!
