Well, that explains why we haven't seen Esther_M for awhile.
Although it is awfully suspicious. You disappear and Ayumi Hamasaki announces her engagement to an American, , , ,
Bahahaha.
Nah, Esther has been busy with life in Tokyo! I was only able to see her once but we had a good time and eat some delicious tsukemen. Pictures forthcoming!
Hamasaki...well I'm not the lucky trophy husband, man.

Can't wait to see the photos! The Christmas decorations in Tokyo especially! (assuming you have them haha) _________________

That's a lot of country to see in just two weeks! Thank goodness for shinkansen and the JR Rail Pass, huh?
Indeed. This was my fourth visit to Japan but I didn't buy a JR Pass...I did travel on the shinkansen once to return to Tokyo from Kansai but I otherwise I traveled by air which I found to be cheaper and quicker!

No kidding? Can you PM me the details? If I can use it on my new website to help others, I would be very appreciative. _________________

Massively cool holiday LED illuminations in Tokyo Midtown, in Roppongi. One of the very reasons I chose to travel in December was to witness all these awesome LED illuminations throughout Tokyo, as it was my first time.

Same reason I went when I did. Well, that and to avoid the summer heat and humidity.
Great picture. I should post some of mine. _________________

Thanks. I refuse to go to Tokyo in the summer. I know it's miserable.
But the matsuri are beautiful. And fun! Just be careful if you get to help carry the shrine. Being taller than the others means a two-week bruise on the shoulder. _________________
