For GOU, I have a feeling like this:
Season One / Winter - Childhood (Ep1-10); ended with Ichi's death
Season Two / Spring - Teenagehood (Ep11-24); would probably end with 2nd husband's death
Season Three / Summer - Marriage with Shogun Hidetada (Ep25-35); Gou-Hidetada's romance from hate to love, Gou's ups and downs as a wife in Tokugawa clan and not being able to give birth to a boy(heir), ends with the outcome of Sekigahara battle (Mitsunari vs Ieyasu)
Season Four / Autumn - "Siege of Osaka" battle (Ep36-47); the climax of the Azai sisters' conflicts, Gou's dispute with Kasuga-no-Tsubone, the start of Ooku, ends with... well, Gou's death.
@futarichan
I know it be the the NHK mascot named Dōmo-kun. I don't understand what it's supposed to be, but now that you mention it could be a bear... I thought maybe it was an angry cookie.

EDIT: Lots of people from Musashi could have a guest appearance in Gou
Ahhh... sou kaaa... didn't shogun Hidetada appear in MUSASHI(2003)? Who was the actor? Did Gou appear in Musashi too?? XD
But I doubt Musashi will appear at all in GOU's Sekigahara XD I'm guessing "GOU" will focus alot on Hidetada's failure in that battle.
ingesz,
Yeap, THAT Mitsunari He may simply look like an innocent follower of Hideyoshi now, but he'll be a great warrior along the way (or, at least I hope he'd be, in this adaptation =P). Sekigahara battle is said to be The Battle of The Century, and that's what made Ishida Mitsunari's name big in history.
ps: Thank you for the bday wishes, minna!!^v^ _________________

Bishonen (bidanshi?) Azai Nagamasa
Oichi Omamori (Ichi's Charm) hoshiiii~~~
There are rumors that on May 2nd, the REAL Hidetada's bday, pictures of Mukai Osamu as Hidetada will be revealed, and press con with Mukai at Zojoji Temple (where Hidetada and Gou's gravestones located at) will be held.
Waaa~~~ tanoshimiii~~
Speaking of Hidetada, my favorite part in Ep15 besides Gou's blue kimono and Yoshi's saru investigation notes (lol!), was the scene where Ieyasu-papa appointed his vassal, Honda Masanobu, to be Hidetada's guardian and told him to find Hidetada's uniqueness/talents/ability or something? (looking fwd to Liubeibei's subs ) Makes me wonder if "GOU" writer, set up Hidetada as someone who has superior ability in a certain area. (perhaps in politic matters? since he's well-known for his bad performances in battles XD) _________________

Would be about time! The other "Hide"s aren't working so well for Gō.

So desu ne. Same time frame but different worlds.
Well, there's always the possibility, that during a trip between castles, Gō would stick her head out of the palanquin and ask a traveler named Takezō for directions.

LOL, that's so possible in GOU
Episode 17 is titled "Ieyasu no Hanayome" (Ieyasu's Bride). WIKI page have updated GOU's cast list. This actress will be Asahi-hime, Ieyasu's bride in Ep17
Asahi-hime is Hideyoshi's younger sister, 44 years old^^
I like it when they cast futsu-looking actresses for Asahi-hime, hehe... since history says Asahi-hime is not pretty (well, she's saru's sister afterall =P) and Ieyasu reluctantly accepted the political marriage proposal XD (some adaptations casted beautiful-looking Asahi^^) _________________
