Ugh, I was just thinking the same thing. When I was adding this drama I got really excited to see Joe... but I think I'll skip this one. _________________

Same here - I am a huge fan but I'll wait for some trustworthy reviews (Marspeach, are you giving this a shot?)
I have to say I actually prefer Fukada Kyoko to Nagasawa Masami .
Do I ever skip anything? I'm going to watch it. I will probably hate it. I cannot stand Nagasawa Masami, like many of you, but I've liked Odagiri Joe in what I've seen him in. Sigh...why did it have to be her? _________________

Wow, what a turn of development at the end of Episode 1! I didn't think I'll watch Ep2 until that ending. Now, I want to know the reason behind the happening at the end. So I need to watch Ep2
It's pretty good, I have to say. I'm getting more and more used to Nagasawa, although I couldn't stand her in the past.

I hate Tomosaka Rie. And was hating to see her as Jo's love interest. But I'm so glad she commited suicide in the ending XD And now, I want to know why she did that. And I like the fact that in the end the older brother relied on the little sister to get money, too. So now they're equal. I was worried that this drama would only focus on a problematic little sister

seeing everyone's comments about nagasawa made me LOL.. actually I too dragged watching this drama, and I almost fell asleep during the show, until the ending of episode 1 caught me.
anyway from what i saw in episode 1, the focus seemed more on odagiri joe's character rather than nagasawa.. so yep.. can give it a try, she didn't have too much screen time in episode 1 anyway. _________________

Okay, I've plunged into this one. I don't think Nagasawa is going to be the problem here, in fact, she's not doing too bad. This script has the potential to be a real cliche-laden minefield, though. And of course, anytime you get Odagiri Joe, you know you're gonna get, , ,

Okay, I finished this one and thought I'd never be saying this but Nagasawa was very good!! If this was the first time I'd ever seen her, I'd be saying, "I wonder what she can do if given a decent script."
Speaking of script, this was a total mishmash. Started out as a crime/mystery drama, then went off on the old "big brother hates little sisters boyfriend" tangent and wound up with "city doctor finds happiness at country clinic". Geez, what a mess.

Then you had when we found out Sakurai was really Kuki's long lost father. Followed by Kuki telling Joe if Sakurai didn't survive he would never forgive him. As soon as he said that I was thinking, "Might as well fire up the crematory now, cause Sakurai ain't gonna make it.
And what was that subplot with the chairman's daughter trying to get Joe to marry her??? Went absolutely nowhere, a complete waste of time!!

I was looking at a friends pics from japan and I found one that was of a trail station. I really feel like I have seen it before and this is the only show I can think of. I looked quickly through the episodes but couldn't find it. Could someone tell me what episode and a timestamp would be best they go to a train station. tyvm
