My Review: 8/10
Ifm going to ignore for the moment that this drama is based on the American TV show gBewitchedh. Comparing it to the original series wouldnft be fair and Ifd have to change the tone of this review.
On itfs own, I found this drama highly entertaining. I have yet to see the last episode, but I believe my views would go unchanged. I thought the way the magic element was handled was awesome. Sometimes it was a bit hokey, but that only added to the overall charm of the show. No pun intended. lol
Yonekura Ryoko was fabulous. Although she was annoying at times, she made up for it in the moments that mattered most. Shefs a strong actress, gorgeous, and has great style. She also pulled off the role of the witch beautifully. Harada Taizo was the perfect George! Hefs so average! And so wonderful. I was instantly attracted to him and I could totally see what Arisa saw in him. Harada was really fun to wish and I thought his pairing with Ryoko-san was gold. My favourite character, of course, was Arisafs mother, played by Natsuki Mari. Mari-san seemed to have a lot of fun playing the role, and it was a lot of fun to watch her when she was on screen.
The storyline was a bit awkward, since a lot of the plot elements were rushed. There was a common thread through each episode, but the story itself was rather empty and didnft hole a lot of substance. Personally I didnft find that this mattered. The purpose of the show was to have fun and enjoy the ride, and I did! Not every drama has to masterfully written in order to be enjoyed!
As always, Wynter, a fine review...thank you...
I will redouble my efforts to find the lost last episode... _________________

If you find it before I do, please let me know!
@B-san: Yesh, I remember you saying that you had the raw, but no subs. I'm sure they exist somewhere. Why would they sub only 10 out of the 11? _________________
If someone has a good copy that has any subs at all, the subs could possibly be ripped from the video which would give you a baseline set of timings...

I know Sam and her husband had kids. The girl, Tabby, can use magic. I don't think the series ended with them having kids. There's this episode when Tabby moved up to 2nd grade.
As far as I am concerned, the series never really ended. Because there is a sequel I haven't seen yet. In the sequel Tabby grows up and the show's basically about her.

And yeah, I just finished watching all 11 episodes. DVD just came out in Singapore. There's a selection of Chinese or English subs too. And cost only like 30 dollars? Cheaper if u convert to US dollars.
And spoiler question coming up...
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
At the end, when the daughter was sent back to the magical world for her education, did they clarify how long it was going to be? The subs on my dvd read 10 years and later 2 years. That's a big difference: 10 years vs 2 years.
Daddy didn't seem too upset so it might be only a couple of years. But I wish to be clear on that point. My question is: anyone of you understand Japanese enough to tell if they said 10 years or 2? You just can't trust subs nowadays...

Thing is, are the English subs any good or are they gibberish?
