It's come around in the second half, FOR SURE. I think all the characters have kinda grown on me now. I'm on epi 10 and for the first time since I started, I can't wait for the next episode.
I think I had to find my niche, which surprisingly has ended up being Hosho Mai. I hope she's in the other ones too.
Wahoo! Brilliant, I'm pleased! Hoshi Mai is great, I agree. Mind you, I think most everybody in this series is great.

Yes she is! That's the great thing about the sequels, they keep all the original actors and just build on what went on before. I forget, did Shomuni 1 have the episode where Tsukuhara's Dad shows up? That is one of the best episodes of the entire 3 series! A classic miscommunication comedy of errors!
I ADORED Tsukahara's dad! He was a riot. Too bad he was not in Shomuni much much more.
Finally caught up with Last Friends today. I couldn't wait till the hardsubs were available so I just watched it on my laptop instead. I guess I can start posting and reading the Last Friends thread. One complaint though--it's very annoying how they keep on changing the episode count. Make up your mind, people!
I need to catch up, too, but I can't download ANYTHING until June 11th now.

I am currently enjoying Teppan Shoujo Akane. I saw if before but was kind of distracted during a lot of it so now I am more focused on the story and enjoying it.
I loved Shomuni. That is a fun drama Parts 2 & 3 still kept the fun alive. All the cast worked so well together even the cat.

Oh jeese.. are you on a quota? They're testing adopting those here in the US soon.. I think it'll be catastrophic!
Wow, that would totally suck if they are. I'd be so lost without unlimited downloads.
On topic: In the process of watching the Ruri no Shima SP, but I kept getting interrupted, so I'm going to try to continue it tonight. _________________

Yeah.. Time Warner and AT&T have or soon will have test areas.
Yikes, I sure don't look forward to that happening in my area. It will be a sad, sad day if/when it does... I guess trading will be a must if that happens.

Maybe you guys'll learn to be more discriminating with your downloads rather than vacuuming up every drama that hits the 'net like a black hole...
I DO NOT vacuum every drama. Gokusen does not go anywhere near my computer! ...Oh wait. I'm downloading it for peachy, so technically I am.
On topic: Finished Ruri no Shima SP and episode 9 of Asakusa Fukumaru Ryokan 2. Some Korean actor guest starred in that drama but I can't remember his name... _________________

Just watched Galileo Ep 6. (The one where the fortune telling boy breaks into the girl's house and Kaoru helps him out) I specifically liked that episode. _________________

And I don't want to pay for the better plan because that's what they're trying to sucker us into doing. SO frustrating. I can't update my site or anything either.

Where's the fun in that? Besides, how do you know what's good until you watch it? I'd rather make my own opinions. _________________

Well you're gonna be forced into that position if they limit bandwidth, so you'd better start learning....
I doubt that it'll work, really - too many consumers are, well, consumers. They'll find the services that don't limit bandwidth - and if they don't exist, they will - as a niche will be created. It's impossible to reign us in now. _________________

Finished epi 6 of Saitou San, Mimura is great, the plot is pretty standard though. It's always cracked me up in these "One person standing up for what's right" scenarios how that one person, every time they turn around, they run into some a**hole and have a confrontation.
