good point. |
I am still very big on K-dramas cuz i started watching them before J-Dramas, but some time it depend on the plot that make a Drama good like Full House for ex with Song Hye Gyo & Bi Rain: it was about love, but it also show alot of comedy as well as sad moments, but these days J-dramas r like the top of my list!!! _________________

Not necessarily.
I think MissyMon (where is she, BTW?) likes K and J dramas equally well...

it depends..
if you are for some tearjerker, comedic sometimes, animated, focuses on frendship with light love stories but dont expect that the couple will always end up with each other, go for jdramas.
if you are for mostly heavy drama, with twisted traditional drama theme, sometimes funny and cheesy love stories, go for kdrama.
..... hey what about taiwan dramas? hehe _________________ ♥♥♥ CURRENT DRAMA LIST: Rookies, Shibatora, Yasuko To Kenji, Koizora, Kamen Rider Den-O... ♥♥♥

Have you watched 1 Litre of Tears or Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu? Those were tear-jerkers, the former, especially. And as for depressing dramas, Kono Yo no Hate has possibly got every Korean (and Japanese) drama out there beat. _________________

Well, maybe I haven't watched enough of K or J dramas to do a very fair comparison but that is how the dramas from the 2 countries appear to me from the dramas I've watched. |
Now that I think about it, you're right. Practically all of the Korean dramas I've watched has some sad element to it, but in the end, it usually has a happy ending.
And if you're not into depressing dramas, stay away from the jdrama that I mentioned earlier. It had me depressed for days afterwards. _________________

I'll be sure to note them down. 1 Litre of tears is depressing enough for me.I really am a fan of comedies.

Actually alot of people do. Im partial to jdramas for the most part. But there have been some kdramas Ive adored.
I think everyone should treat themselves to Dae Jang Guem for instance. What a remarkable series that was.
Anyone who likes melodrama would certainly enjoy the kdramas. The Koreans are even bigger into that genre than the Japanese. _________________
