Is there something wrong with cleavage?

Oh, and I'm with keps:

Kyono Kotomi is Sawako Tsukahara of Shomuni.

She was just pretending in Kuitan.

Not if there's talent to go along with it.

When it's the refrigerator repairman's butt cleavage, hell yeah. (Geezer, you're old enough to perhaps recognize this reference)

*whoosh* <- Sound of the above reference flying over keps' head. Mr Green

Finished series 1 today. This was such a satisfying drama. Loved it!
A wonderful set of characters...well, maybe except for Ikami. I found him wet and irksome (as I'm sure he was supppsed to be Beaten ).
And having Sawako's dad in just one episode was a TRAVESTY. Grumble

I hope I'm not setting you up for a letdown, but I honestly think Shomuni 2 is the best of the 3. Enjoy!!!

Ooooooooo so the second season is better than the first, eh? That's rare!

Yes it is! But with Shomuni 2 all the characters were established, the writers tightened everything up a notch and the actors kept pace.

In the early days of Saturday Night Live, there was a skit in which Dan Ackroyd played a refrigerator repairman making a service call. For much of the skit, he had his back turned to the audience, exposing butt cleavage spilling over his waistband.

I have to agree with gaijinmark; the second season is better than the first. This is especially notable because the first season was very good to begin with, so topping it is a considerable accomplishment.

Oh...I don't think we've ever had that show here. Big Grin
Somehow though, I'm not too sorry I missed acres of bum. hehe

I think I'm going to watch another drama before Shomuni 2...think I'll enjoy it more after a break.

I'm currently d/loading via emule 3 files entitled
syomuni_SP_2000_A.rmvb,
syomuni_SP_2000_B.rmvb,
syomuni_SP_forever.rmvb
I'm assuming these are the 2 specials and Shomuni Forever. I don't know anything about these files, but once they're d/loaded (it will be awhile), I'll let you guys know.

So did you find out what these were?

That is exactly how I did it. I didn't want to get to burnt out on Shomuni. And when I would start it after watching something else, it was like visiting some old friends you hadn't seen for awhile. Victory! Peace!

Yes, syomuni_SP_2000_A.rmvb & syomuni_SP_2000_B.rmvb turned out to be the Spring special (in two parts) with the story about Y2K...the English subs, available here: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_6901.htm are for this special...I could never get them to synch...
syomuni_SP_forever.rmvb is, as suspected, Shomuni Forever...it has hardsubs, Chinese I think, but I have been unable to find English subs anywhere...

But the cat is just as much a part of it as any of the actors. If they did another one without the cat, it WOULDN'T be Shomuni Shake Head

I wasn't complaining about the cat! I like him! I was referring to the way he is totally babied by Ikami. Big Grin
