I just saw her in the arirang tv (korean channel) the show was i think seoul pop where they features her latest video. Based on my opinion she doesn't look bad though her hair style was look like the hair style of ayumi hamasaki in her video "real me".
its her LOVE & HONESTY snippets.. they sound pretty good, but im (still) all for her 'listen to my heart' album, then again this is even better than her valenti album.. heheh i gotta get this
err some of her tracks were like n'sync imitation >.< _________________

Well I know BOA....she's korean.....can tell that cuz my parents are korean!! I was born and raized in Brazil and my girlfriend is japanese.....what a mix huh? _________________
I liked BoA a couple of years back, I don't like BoA in 2003. Her singles that year had been rather dissappointing and Atlantis Princess...ugh
Lets hope she can do better this year. Please no more "Rock with you" type songs.
I think that's the last we shall see of songs that sound like "Rock with you", honestly it's pretty bad and really doesn't suit her well. I've found the actual song and PV more annoying than anything else. She had a few decent singles in 2003, but I happen to think her work in 2002 was a bit better.
Her Japanese has improved a fair amount since first coming on the J-pop scene. Though, she does still have an accent but nothing you can do about it. As for her english, it still could use some work. If BoA does another "Rock with you" like song again, I think I'm going to puke.

It's true that it's unfair to judge BoA's English in comparison with people who was born in America or England or has lived there for a long time...but it really annoys me when people announce her as really smart because she's fluent in three languages when she's NOT actually fluent in English Her level of fluency in English is like me with Spanish And as other people have said, if she's so good at English, why do most of her songs have such bad English grammar? Even though she didn't write the songs, I would think she has some say in what she's singing especially since she's become so popular now.
Nothing against her...I listen to her songs and enjoy them very much...just wanted to express how I don't like publicists (or whoever does this) who claim idols to be fluent in English when they really aren't

I don't know, it'd be unfair to compare BoA's english with Utada's english who is an Ivy Leaguer. And besides Utada grew up in America as well as JPN.
Can anyone post a recent pic of BoA?
Here you go..
Well..I like Listen to My Heart and Valenti, but I don't particularly like her songs nowadays. Plus, her recent release Rock With You does not appeal me too much...And her PV..ugh..why is it I got the impression that she is immitating the ever annoying Britney Spears?
As for her English..hmmm she doesn't seem to be that fluent, because I've heard her speech in MTV Asia Award 2004. Oh, well Hikaru Utada is much, much better.

I like BoA, but not as much as I used to. Her first couple Korean albums were the best, and I really liked her first two Japanese albums. Atlantis Princess was ok, but this latest Japanese album disappointed me. I liked the song Shine We Are, Double grew on me a bit, but Rock With You....I hated it when it came out and I hate it even more now. The quality of her songs has gone DOWNHILL. She's releasing too much too soon. She's working too hard to keep up with the speed and she's just not singing that well anymore. The songs are now too poppy in a Britney sense now and they are starting to irritate me.
I'm not gonna say she has the greatest voice, but she CAN sing. She just hasn't been using her voice as the strong point in her songs anymore. I notice a big difference in the use of her voice in comparing her earlier albums to current albums. Now she just sounds like she's not really into it, like she just shows up, sings mediocre, and then runs to shoot PV's and make appearances. I really think they are working her too hard and releasing stuff in quantity, not quality. I say the same for Ayu (although Ayu hasn't changed voice-wise), because her more recent releases have bored me too.
Also, about her English. I'm not gonna say her English is great in her songs. It's a struggle to understand some of what she sings. However as for grammar in songs, that's not her fault because I seriously doubt she writes any of it or has much say in it at all. I have heard an interview or two in English with her, and she held her own pretty good in conversation. But....that was quite a while ago. She's probably not working on English much at all anymore and she doesn't really need too. As her Japanese is improving, her English declines, but that's to be expected.
She released stuff pretty fast in Korea, but it was more quality stuff. I think she needs to take it slower and release some more quality stuff. I doubt she has much choice in the matter, but I think that would be better.

- Sony Computer Entertainment Korea, eyeing a million PlayStation 2 units sold, is all set to release the next in Eye Toy gaming to the Korean market, Eye Toy Groove. This dance-based take on the Eye Toy concept will arrive in Korea on 4/27 at the price of 45000 won (about $40) minus the Eye Toy camera and 59000 won (about $54) with the peripheral included.
The big catch with the Korean version of Groove is the inclusion of Korean pop stars, allowing players to dance to their favorite Korean songs. Included in the list of featured talent is none other than international pop sensation BoA. The young multiplatinum singer/dancer was previously featured as the singer for the theme song used in the Japanese version of Samurai Warriors.
Eye Toy Play, the first Eye Toy game, seems to be a big hit amongst Korean fans, having sold 65,000 units so far. With big names like BoA associated with Eye Toy Groove, it's reasonable to expect even greater sales.
There's no word yet on whether you can expect to see BoA in other versions of Eye Toy Groove, so fans may have to make this game their first Korean PlayStation 2 import.

Cool.
Have you seen the PV (it's floating around some BT sites), I like it a lot. I'm not a huge fan of BoA (although I do think she's very talented), but that PV kicks butt.
(m-flo also did great stuff with melody/ryohei yamamoto - miss you, and chemistry - now or never).
